Horrible buying experience. DONT GO HERE!!!
Buying a car through Right1Auto was a terrible experience. I am a 20 year old college student in need of a reliable car so, I took my older broken down vehicle in to get a trade. This car was an upgrade from the car I initially had so I was proud and thrilled to get a vehicle that can last me through my college years, however this excitement soon turned into many hardships. Three days after buying the vehicle the check engine light turned on and after a “repair” from Right1Auto I thought my problems were over when not even a week later the light reappeared. I would have broken the contract but I needed a vehicle to get around and I would have been left with nothing. After constant calling and lack of communication from the dealership my father and I had to show up for someone to talk to us. My car had to be taken to a ford dealership and I found out the ENTIRE ENGINE needed to be replaced and the only reason I went to a Ford dealership was because Right1Auto told me that I had a warranty that did not exist on the car. After more long and difficult communication Right1Auto did pay for this but even now the car is having issues that it had from the beginning and notified them about. I talked to the highest person possible and he snickered when I asked if he would be able to handle this problem. So I am left to deal with an $800 issue in a car that was sold to me by this dealership. This entire ordeal lasted from early December to now in January and the only reason I gave up my other car was to not have any car issues like I have been experiencing. So now not only am I dealing with car repairs but also a hefty car payment.

I am blown away that Keffer would allow their name to be attached to these crooks! I purchased a luxury vehicle from this dealership, costing well over $50k, and they couldn't even send a salesperson or intelligent person to have me sign my documents. I also haven't received my second key that is well over $600, nor my BMW M All weather mats I was told were with the car. But that's petty, trust me. I can buy those myself. What I can't buy is customer service and honesty, and they can't even spell that, I'm sure. Over the last few days, I have received threatening texts and phone calls from a person who claimed to be a manager, but actually isn't. It seems they also have severe incompetency in the titles department, because they can't seem to get one for my trade in from BMW Financial, even though they have all paperwork necessary. After being told that the "Owner" says they are going to pursue legal action against me for a car they own, I asked for a call from the "Owner". I have not received that call, as I am sure the General Manager named John doesn't want him to know that he has had a $53,000 car on the lot that they can't sell for 6 months, that's not very bright, especially when I have a worthless conversation with this gentleman, and he doesn't even know about it. What GM of a dealership doesn't know that he has that much money tied up in a car he can't sell because his titles department is incompetent? The "Owner" probably doesn't know how they react to intelligent people either, which is consistently condescending and yelling to control the narrative. That works on need buyers, not 850's that buy whatever we want, and even then, it's sad that they take advantage of that model customer. Endgame is that they are saying I have to do their job for them, which I can't, because I no longer own the vehicle, or they are threating forced capitalism by thinking I am stupid enough to fear myself into thinking they can make me buy a car back that I no longer own. It's really sad when a family owned business puts the wrong people customer facing, maybe they don't understand that sugar is sweeter than spice, and if you ask the right questions, treat people the right way, maintain your integrity, and exhibit honesty, you'd get further. Oh, and the GM also said if I call the store again, he'll call the Police. That's a defeatist that is admitting they've done something wrong and are scrambling to find a solution, what a shame! I'll wait on that call from the "Owner", something tells me they understand how to have a resolution-oriented conversation! Until then, DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE INDIVIDUALS! YOU WILL NOT BE TREATED FAIR OR EQUAL! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!
