Committed Fraud
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR FROM THESE SCAMMERS. We purchased a car from Cody. A 2002 silver Honda Civic. Within a few days there was issues. We took it to a mechanic that we paid for. Metro Motors had disconnected the cables to the engine warning codes. Metro Motors had removed the radiator overflow cap to hide pressure from the head gasket being blown. There were countless other illegal issues with the car. We have a written report from a certified mechanic that we are happy to share. Even though the paperwork said no warranty, Cody then claimed there was. The car was taken to AAMCO in Independence. Harley at AAMCO verified that the cable had been disconnected and they had to order a special part to reconnect it. The engine was replaced. But guess who supplied the engine to AAMCO ? Yep Cody at Metro Motors did. Granddaughter picked up car today from AAMCO and only made it a few miles down the road and car wouldn't go over 20 miles an hour. So they essentially replaced one crappy engine with another crappy engine. After speaking to Alex at Metro Motors he claims there is a warranty thru a 3rd party ? But yet none of the paperwork says that. I asked if he committed fraud again by charging for this so called warranty but he claims it was free. Alex refused to cooperate by claiming we were being disrespectful. Even though selling us a car that they intentionally and fraudulently did things to so that the car would run for a few days is in my opinion more disrespectful. On the 22 of Nov it will be one month since the car was purchased. We have paid for insurance on the car...can't drive it. Instead we have spent over $400 for Uber rides. Today to pick up the car we spent just over $40 on Uber. And still no car. Alex and Cody refuse to speak to us. Told us to hire an attorney. We shall do that. I will also be filing a complaint with the Kansas Attorney General and the BBB. Also if you read other reviews they sold a lady a 2002 silver Honda Civic and the same exact problems happened and she returned the car. AND THEY SOLD IT TO US AND FIXED THE CAR SO THOSE PROBLEMS WOULD NOT SHOW UP! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS CAR DEALER. YOU WILL REGRET IT. IF THEY DID IT TO US THEY DO IT TO EVERONE. BELIEVE THE REVIEWS ABOUT HOW BAD THEY ARE

I would NOT recommend car this dealer to anyone !
I bought a car from Metro Motors KC the car had a knocking noise coming from the motor on start up and the dealer Hid the problem from me when I was buying the car every time I drove the car like for a test drive or taking the car home they already had the car started and running so I didn't hear the knocking noise. I had my next door neighbor who's a mechanic listen to the noise he did not diagnose the problem and told me it sounded like a timing chain. There were other problems also with the car the windshield wipers didn't work and when you filled the gas tank up the car wouldn't start. Metro Motors did put in a timing chain set but they did not have the car diagnosed and that was not the problem. Then when I took the car back to their repair shop they fixed the wipers and fuel problem but Metro Motors stuck me paying for it. I took this problem to the BBB put they still refused to pay for the job. The windshield wipers not working is a safety issue and I will take the problem to the DMV unless I get my $220 back for fixing problems. I live about 75 or 80 miles from Metro Motors and their mechanics, I'm not asking for any gas money from them for all the driving I had to do I just want the money back for fixing the problems. If I would've heard the knocking noise I would not have bought the vehicle I traded a 2010 Chevy Traverse that is in perfect condition for this 2009 Cadillac with all these problems that I didn't know about as soon as I found out about all of them which was about 4 days later (I'm retired and don't drive that much) but when I found out I notified them of the problems.

Excellent, reliable and honest...
I went into this dealership with my guard up. Since I'm retired from the car sales business after more than twenty years in it, I knew what things could possibly go wrong when on enters at dealership. My fears quickly evaporated after meeting with Cody and Alex. They made good on their promises to my wife and I regarding our newly purchased used car. If you're looking for a real fancy place with water falls and crystal chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, then this place isn't for you. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, trustworthiness and reliability, then you come to the right place! They made the process of purchasing a car easy and affordable. Can't say enough about these guys. If a new, used vehicle is what you're looking for, then this is the place you should look before you go anywhere else. Try em' out...you'll be glad you did! Kudos to the entire staff there at Metro Motors KC!
