RAVMOTORS of Crystal

I bought my truck in February 2020 knowin it had a prior salvaged title. About 5 months later I noticed some major imperfections with the paint job apparently on the areas where it had been damaged. I talked to my local body shop and he suggested calling RavMotors and talking to them about the issue, cause it was quite a horrible paint job. I called and got talking with Daniil, told him what was going on, he asked me to give him a little time he wanted to talk with his manager. He emailed me and asked me to send up some pictures(I live 3 hours away from the dealership). I sent up many pictures, couple days later Daniil called me to set up a date for me to bring my truck back up and they were gonna stand behind the paint job, they had never seen this issue before. We set up the day, I made the trip to Crystal and they had a loaner vehicle ready for me to take for the week. I was so greatful and very impressed that they stood behind there work. I had a great experience buying from RavMotors and Pavel was incredibly helpful throughout the process. They were very up front about the previous accident of the car, answered all of my questions related to the accident, and were flexible with me taking the car into a trusted dealership for an independent inspection (a must if buying a rebuilt title!). Pavel helped me get the car and financing that best fit my needs and at a great price. He answered many phone calls and emails from me, all with patience and industry knowledge.

Wow is all I can say. I visited 3 dealers before coming to Ravmotors. Pavel was helping me out and not once complained that I wanted to test drive 5 cars. He was very welcoming and put up with my endless questions. I spent 4 hours here until finally choosing a car. It only took him 15 min to get the paperwork in order and get me on the way. I love love my new Subaru.

Very happy with my recent visit to their Crystal location. Pavel made me feel welcome and wasn’t your typical salesperson that will say anything just to make you buy the car.

As we were signing the papers for the car, the man helping us said we should have received a description of past accidents. When he saw our deer-in-the-headlights look, he mentioned how a coworker should have provided said papers (but failed to do so). In the middle of all the paperwork, we learned that the car we were purchasing was a salvaged car. Not an opportune time to find these things out... Then, not but a week or two later, my husband and I used the vehicle to travel north for our wedding weekend on the North Shore. Whilst on the way home, we heard ticking noises from the engine. Our car began shaking violently. Luckily, we were near a town with automotive services. Not but two weeks with the car, our Subaru had lost compression in one of the cylinders, making it impossible to drive home. When the car was transported to the Twin Cities, it took nearly three weeks with little communication to repair the car. Nevertheless, we received the car. They DID give us an engine with fewer miles but did not reset the mileage. All in all, my best advice for someone looking to buy a car here is to be somewhat cautious. Do not let the inexpensive pricing fool you into a poorly repaired car. Ask questions and be thorough.
