Awesome car buying experience.

Awesome car buying experience. The staff were friendly and warm. Special shout out to Abdul O. They had everything ready for me when I arrived. True professionalism all the way around!

I had a truly seamless experience ordering and purchasing

I had a truly seamless experience ordering and purchasing my car at Kuni. Abdul, my salesperson, was a joy to work with and ensured I had exactly the car I wanted. I’m thrilled with my selection/purchase and am so glad I dealt with a local dealership. This is the second deal I have done with Kuni and have been extremely happy both times. Will definitely will deal with them again.

I don't recommend to sell your car there. Not impressed,...

I don't recommend to sell your car there. Not impressed, they tried to fool me. Kelly Blue Book from Kuni Auto Center was $16892 for a VW Passat, I drove up to the Kuni Auto center only to be presented by a verbal offer of $15000 claiming that the car is not selling well. No detailed reasoning given on the car condition. I really thought the times of trying to rip off your customers while selling a car are over through such standardized transparent programs like KBB. Not with this dealer, they take part of KBB to seem credible. Not even a sign that they tried to clear the air afterwards when I sent a complaint. So I really only can make a public review. I worked with Ivorie who is not to blame for this, she follows the flawed direction of her management. PS: I sold the car to an honest VW dealer for $16750.

What a horrible business! I had inquired about a used vehicle's availability and was set-up with an appointment to test drive it. I let the person know I'd be driving in from Gresham, an hour away, so it was important to let me know any issues before I wasted my time driving out there. I arrived at 10am for my test drive to find no one knew anything about it or the person I was working with. Finally Bob came out and said the internet sales team doesn't know anything about their inventory and it's best to calm the center directly. Oookkkeeeee. Bob proceeded to walk us all around the lot looking for the vehicle, which we never found. He looked it up finally and said it was "in their shop." I asked what for and no one knew. Bob said he'd call me with more information and when the car was ready for a test drive. 2 days later, after not hearing from Bob, I called him. He told me the car was still in the shop and he was told they were waiting for parts. When I asked him what parts and what was being done to the car, he said he had no idea and they were discouraged from communicating directly with their collision center. Ummm oookkkeeee. Once again, Bob said he would call me when it was out of the shop and was ready for a test drive. I again made a point to say I was very interested in purchasing the car so please do not sell it out from under me. After 3 days of still not hearing from anyone I called again. Bob said it was still in the shop and he was very sorry for the delay. 4 more days pass and I call again, still never hearing from anyone. The boy at the front desk told me Bob was not available and that he would check on that car for me. He then said it was released from the shop that very day and that he would get a sales person on the phone to speak with me about it. I was ecstatic since it was a graduation present for my son, which was happening in a week. 30 seconds later the boy was back on the phone telling me he was sorry but the car sold. Unfortunately this boy got the full wrath of my fury. How on EARTH does a car sit in the shop for 2 weeks with NO ONE knowing what was being done to it? How does a car I said I wanted get sold out from under me? How is this xxx business still operating? I apologized to the boy on the phone saying he was not the intended target of my fury and that he should definitely quit because he shouldn't work for such a dishonest business. They certainly couldn't be paying him enough to even answer their phones. I asked to speak to a manager and was told everyone was with a client, oh how convenient! I find their tactics abhorrent and would never purchase a single thing from any KUNI dealership ever. SHAME ON THEM.

Hello WatchMeMom, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry for the frustration you experienced in trying to purchase this 2011 Ford Escape. I do see that this vehicle's inspection and reconditioning took longer than normal due to some parts that were ordered and took some time to arrive. I can see that you were advised the car was still going through the inspection process when making your initial appointment, and I am sorry that you understood the vehicle could be test driven when that evidently wasn't possible. At times, when awaiting on order parts, test drives are possible depending on the part we are waiting for. (A radio knob, for example, wouldn't prevent a test drive from occurring with an interested party.) It is evident that communication with you regarding this vehicle was unclear and did not meet commitments made. Please rest assured that we take your feedback constructively and have worked with the team to review your experience and make improvements to ensure vehicle statuses are more clearly communicated with interested parties. Like many vehicles under $15,000, this vehicle had a great deal of interest, so there were a number of other clients interested at the same time as you. While we certainly did not intend to disappoint you, we do not hold our pre-owned vehicles, and we do not accept deposits to hold vehicles as each vehicle is very unique and we simply can't take them off the market and away from other guests. Once fully available (with the reconditioning process completed), we make the vehicle available to any interested parties on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you have not found a vehicle for your son yet, please feel free to reach out to me directly and I will assist in facilitating a a smoother experience for you. We had a great experience at Kuni Auto Center. We thought the purchase would be complex since we were driving down to Oregon and purchasing a car out of state, but it was seamless! Our salesman, Matt, was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and was very responsive the whole week we were getting everything in order to purchase a car. We love our car and it was also very fairly priced!
