Sad experience

We found a vehicle we loved and were in the process of funding however they sold the car without our knowledge. It was very disheartening as our funding was approved quickly and they car was gone. I wouldn’t recommend due to the sad experience. let our loan officer know after we were approved.

Buyer beware !!

Had a not so pleasant experience, the dealership was just ok but the salesman was very rude after we pd for the truck . We had questions but the salesperson just put us off. The transaction was good for the financial part. We had to have the car shipped from Tennessee to Summerfield fl and that took almost two months ! The salesman said we should have the car with in two weeks , we bought the truck the beginning of Dec and it was finally delivered on Jan. 14 th.. now we have to pay a fine to the state when we go to have it registered… buyer beware, get the facts in writing!

Dealer response

Shipping was delayed because of a tornado and a snow storm in the mid south in December. Both were explained and originally found acceptable by this reviewer. Shipping also had to then be delayed again as they requested to WAIT until after New Years for it to be delivered.

Get the car checked out by an expert!

Word of Caution! Find a local mechanic or expert 3rd party to check out their vehicles before trusting what the salesman says. I drove over 700 miles from Oklahoma to Tennessee only to find out that the truck was not the "Reliable, Turn Key, Hop in it and go" version that Jim described over the phone. The c10 I was looking at had to be cranked on for at least 45 seconds with a lot of throttle pedaling before it even started to reveal a steady fuel leak at the pre-carb filter. It was on air ride which proved to be the next problem. The air tank was being filled by a cheap compressor that could barely produce enough air to lift the front end. They had to let the truck idle for at least 15-20 min before it built up enough pressure to lift the front end off the ground. Once level the next problem of a quart or 2 of transmission fluid mixed with oil lying on the ground below came into view. The drips were coming from the rear of the motor and tail of the transmission, despite what the the salesman Daniel had to say about "the pans likely not being torqued correctly". To seal the deal on our trip around the block in 60 degree ambient temps, the vintage air system blew what felt to me like outside temp air. (Definitely not the cold A/C as described over the phone!)

Disappointed

Bought a car from streetside classics in may 2018 I was told it needed a few things which I was ok with doing myself. Needless to say, I have spent thousands of dollars on the car between the motor dying on the first drive, the gauge cluster was burnt out, needed front end work to pass state inspection suspension work and had to replace valve systems on all 4 tires which was not done when the DEALER had 4 new tires put on vehicle. If I would of know all of this prior to purchasing the car I never would of bought the car. Super disappointed, and I thought the sales person was honest, turns out just like any other sales person who will tell you what you wanna hear to make a sale. Needless to say I've only driven car twice and it's been in a shop the past 3 weeks trying to figure out what's wrong with the car
