Headline great selection, fair prices

Great customer service, honest approach. Would buy from them again couldn't have asked for a better experience! The entire transaction from contact to purchase was smooth, hassle free, and very time efficient.

Stay Away

Avoid this dealership at all costs. I purchased a 2001 Toyota Corolla from them in September of this year. At the time of purchase the car had 63,000 original miles on it. Accounting for the vehicle's age I thoroughly reviewed the CARFAX, noted the vehicle had only had one owner and had only been driven and serviced locally in Northern Virginia (where I live). At the time of purchase the vehicle was represented as having passed the Maryland State Safety Inspection required at the time of delivery. Upon taking delivery of the car I promptly brought it to my regular mechanic for inspection in Virginia so that I might title and register it. My mechanic informed me that the vehicle was not roadworthy and would not pass the Virginia inspection because of two issues, 1) faulty front lower control arms (due to age), and 2) leaking brake lines resulting from a recent brake line replacement conducted Tire Mart & Automotive of Frederick at the request of Frederick Auto House upon acquiring the vehicle. I notified Frederick Auto House immediately and returned the vehicle to them. The vehicle was then brought back to Tire Mart & Automotive, who was unwilling to address the lower control arm issue but promised to address the leaking brake lines. In a gesture of good faith accounting for the vehicle's age I authorized Tire Mart & Automotive to replace the lower control arms at an out of pocket cost of $600-$700. A week later I picked up the vehicle and returned it to my mechanic, who reported that the lower control arms had been replaced but nothing had been done to address the leaking brake lines other than spraying undercoating over the brake line unions. I once again returned the vehicle, this time directly to Tire Mart & Automotive where I had them put the vehicle up on a lift and personally showed the owner of the shop where the brake lines were leaking. He acknowledged and said they would re-run the lines. A week later I took the vehicle back to my mechanic and was told that the brake lines had been replaced but the unions were still leaking. At this point after wasting over a month trying to address this issue with Frederick Auto House and Tire Mart & Automotive I authorized my mechanic to replace the brake lines properly so that I might be able to safely and legally drive the car. All told I wound up spending another $2,600 on top of the $6,000 purchase price to make this vehicle legal and safe to drive. Stay away from Frederick Auto House.

Honest and not pushy

As I was looking for older, reliable vehicles, I came across this dealership. They have a great selection of those. Had a pleasant experience with them!

Basic customer service non existing

I went to lot to view a car, as expected salesperson came out and asked if he could help me. He immediately told me the car was sold and turned around to go back inside. Did not offer additional help or opportunity to look at another car on the lot of the same model (which I saw there). He was not rude but not friendly at all. I felt as if my business was unwanted, to me that's dismal customer service. Obviously I left and will not be coming back.

Telephone Communication

Rep answered the call and IDENTIFIED himself. Well spoken. Excellent demeanor and attitude. Had many questions answered by him, and saw I could not purchase from this dealer yet due to some of my logistical issues. Very professional.

These guys are great

Matt was quick to return phone calls and emails and worked hard to make the deal work. 100% pleased with the car and the transaction. The 90 day warranty included in processing fee is a real bonus. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Used car Shopper

They always answered my phone calls and emails when I inquired about different vehicles. They really seem to want to make the sale work for you based on what your needs are. They didnt try and up sell me just offered vehicles in my price range. Worked out great for me. I bought one car and I'm headed their to buy another.

Used car buyer

Purchased my son's first car here. The customer service was wonderful. They answered my questions, worked with me to get the price I needed and offered a warranty to make me feel more secure. Easy buying process! They were personable and professional! I will be going to buy my other son a car here very soon.
