Service department.

Service department. Unfortunately, when I bought the car I bought a service plan. I had scheduled an appointment for service and I had to cancel it due to a household appliance failure issue that I had to be home for so I called to cancel the appointment and reschedule and they weren’t very polite. So I will not be returning to Apex imports even though I bought the service plan I don’t need to go where they don’t understand cancellations and have to be rude about it.

Stay away

Horrible service. Incompetent auto technicians and negligence found from repairs, including 4 missing bolts, misaligned oil filter and seals. They do not offer any kind of car loaner program, while they had my car for a month I needed to rent a car since only after they took the car apart did they realize the part was out of stock. I will never buy, recommend or do any further business with them. They have at least 18 reports against them on the BBB in the last 12 months.

Worst Purchase Experience Ever

I don’t review much but I had to do this one because it was the worst experience I have ever had. Bought a vehicle less than a year ago. During the financing portion while buying, I checked the math before signing and an extra charge was added which when asked they added extended warranty charges without asking/explaining. I told them to remove it. It was sign though for me to not proceed with them but I ignored that time for which I am paying for that now. I got a used vehicle less than a year ago. The vehicle is still in their warranty. I barely put miles on my vehicle and I have a huge amount of maintenance on the vehicle. There is a high chance that these issues were there before I bought this vehicle as I have barely driven it. I visited them to talk about these and the manager told me to leave from his office in between the conversation when I was trying to ask some questions. He barely let me finish a sentence. He offered to pay for some of it which he took away the offer after couple of mins during the conversation (didn’t realize that it was time sensitive). Also, I don’t think I can personally trust them to fix my vehicle after all this experience. Also, I am an average person who just needed a vehicle which doesn’t break in less than a year. Its risky for me to drive the vehicle with the problems it has and these are expensive issues to fix. I would have appreciated if they would have at-least just said no rather than keep marketing his extended warranty even during the conversation and asking me to leave when I asked questions. Their 1 year warranty did not cover much of the issues my car is currently having not sure if extended warranty would have. I personally will never visit this place again even if they give me a vehicle for free. I won’t be surprised if they come up with a bad response to this review of mine like they did with other bad reviews. I just wished I would have red all those detailed bad reviews before losing this much money.

Excellent sales people.

Excellent sales people. Very helpful without being pushy. Above average cars at below average prices. Will be going back.

Beware!!!!

I was so happy to finally have my dream car. Get home 2 days later and roll down the passenger window and it doesn’t work not does the lock on that side. Call to let them know. They gave me a appointment 2 weeks later then said I needed to pay $400 to take a look at it!!!! Drove it to FL a week later and the tire blew out. They plugged the tire!!!! The mechanic said they have never seen a tire plugged like that and it was very unsafe!!! Don’t do it!!! Safe yourself a headache. On the process of trying to trade it in already! 😒 This is horrible!!

Fantastic experience, highly recommend

Elie H. was a wonderful salesman who gave us the honest truth on the vehicle we traded in and the vehicle we bought. The sales team was welcoming, accommodating, and very quick. They matched previous offers on our trade-in and did not inflate the cost of our new vehicle. Not only were their prices competitive, but they were below fair market value. We would recommend Eli to our friends and plan to return for future car purchases.

$1000 LoJack not in posted price

They tack on $1000 for LoJack at the end. Every car they sell has LoJack but you won't hear about it 'til the salesperson is about to send you to the signing room. Why isn't it included in the posted price of the car? Hold firm and they may knock it down to "cost" $300. If you plan for this, you will feel better about your purchase.

Nasty to customers when complaining about their ca

Purchase a Honda insight from them and the sales associate was good but we noticed roaches in the car and they kept coming out inside the car. We used three cans to fogg the car. Open the trunk and found a large bed of roach eggs 🥚. Only had the car for six days and four days could not drive my car. Took the car and they accepted it back, now I am having trouble getting it off my credit report. Chasing Truitt Bank for days and getting the run around. Not fair. Call Apex imports to help me and management was nasty talking to me.

Service department needs training

Worst experience with the service department. After getting a phone call that our vehicle was ready we arrived and it was NOT! Had to go back a week later to pick up. Once we finally got our vehicle and inspected it we noticed that things were broken. When we called to inform the service department we were told someone would call us back. As of today 8/14/22 we still have not gotten a call back.

Buyer Beware!! Beware!! Beware!!

BUYER BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I purchased a 2018 Mercedes GLS 450 from Apex Imports on June 7th. I get the vehicle home and it leaks oil all over my concrete driveway. (see pictures. House is only a year old) In addition, the turn signals didn't work and the passenger front seat won't adjust. I take the vehicle back the next day and they keep the vehicle for 2 days. Never once calling to give an update. I'm finally told I can pick the vehicle up - only to get it home and guess what - it leaks oil all over my driveway, turn signal ends up going back out and the seat still won't adjust. I'm told to bring the vehicle back which I couldn't do until my next off day. But before I can take the vehicle back, I start it up and EVERY LIGHT POSSIBLE comes on. (see pictures) There's a message that says - call the dealership. Do not change gears. The vehicle is towed back to the dealership and this happens the day after I give my son my ML 350. A vehicle I should've kept (and purchased from Matthew Motors in Clayton where I should've gone back.) As of today, I've supposedly owned the GLS 450 for 37 days and out of those 37 days - the dealership has had it for 19! To keep me from having to take Ubers, they delivered a loaner - a beat up Toyota Camry. I drove the car to the grocery store and the gas light comes on. I get to the gas station and the gas tank won't even open. A complete stranger had to pry it open for me. The next day on my way to work its POURING DOWN and the wipers don't work! TERRIFIED, I called the dealership in tears. They agree to give me a SUV as a loaner. A Chevy Equinox. Now hold on ... I didn't go in there to purchase a beat up Camry and I didn't purchase a Chevy Equinox. I purchased a so-called luxury vehicle with a 3rd row seat. I was supposed to have my young granddaughters for the summer which is why I purchased a newer Mercedes with a 3rd row. I've since had to postpone my time with them and the summer road trips planned. And now 19 days later - I still don't have my vehicle or any idea as to when I'll get the vehicle back. When I call the dealership to speak with a mgr, I'm left on hold until I hang up. I'm tired of crying. This has been nothing shy of a nightmare. The first payment is also due soon. Am I really to pay for a car I haven't been able to drive? I've been trying to hold off on leaving a review but now I'm pursuing every method - legal and all - that available to me.
