BEWARE AND SKEPTICAL !!!
I had sold one vehicle to CarNation back in September of 2021. The experience was satisfactory and I felt comfortable selling them another vehicle. On June 13, 2022, I had spoken to Joe at which time I accurately described the vehicle and he gave me a preliminary buyout number subject to a successful Zoom Meeting / Inspection scheduled for the morning of June 14, 2022. The Zoom Meeting/Inspection took place at which time all angles of the interior and exterior were examined by Joe who is a principal of the company. The graphics of the vehicle were clearly visible during the inspection and reconfirmed the model of the vehicle as I had described to Joe upon our first meeting. After the inspection Joe had confirmed that he would pay the preliminary price that he had offered during our initial phone conversation. He had stated that I would receive the paperwork within a few hours. Unfortunately, things deteriorated from there. I was contacted byAustin fromCarNation who asked for copies of my drivers license as well as the VIN number of the vehicle. Austin then stated that the paperwork would be forwarded to me within a couple of hours. 24 hours later I had still not received any paperwork and I placed a call to CarNation to inquire as to the reason for the delay. I again spoke to Austin and he stated that I would receive the paperwork within the next hour. The paperwork never arrived and Austin and CarNation began ghosting me and ignoring my inquiries. A few hours later, Joe called me and stated that the vehicle he quoted a buyout price on was a different model then the actual vehicle that I own. This is after he could clearly see the graphics describing the exact model of the vehicle. No apologies were offered and Joe stated that he was still willing to buy the vehicle at a 25 percent reduction from his original offer. My recommendation is to avoid what appears to be an unethical and disingenuous company. Take any offer to purchase with a complete grain of salt and be extremely wary and skeptical of any offers made by CarNation of RockvilleCenter, New York.

Customer service was horrible. I had a appt but 20-25 min of my appt time Joe spent talking inside the office, which I was fine with until i started viewing the car after my test drive and being rushed i hadn't even been there a hr. As i was using my obd machine to see why the check engine light (that they clearly previously cleared) popped on during my test drive. Joe came to me telling me to take the machine off i only had 10 min left to view cause he had somewhere to be. My obd machine pulled up 13 codes. Once i asked him about it all i was told was just think about it i have somewhere to be. I get better customer service at a McDonald’s seriously. If someone is buying a car they should be able to look at it in detail i was literally given 25 min to look and drive the car. And i feel i was rushed through the process because of the codes and terrible paint job they did to conceal damage he acted like he knew nothing about till i mentioned it .

Disingenuous in negotiation
Went in to SELL our car and was immediately given a significantly lower offer than on the phone. We disclosed one minor leak that had been verified by two mechanics and salesman tried to say it was a MUCH more expensive fix than the other mechanics had quoted me. He said he would have to put in $ thousands on parts and repair and it would take weeks before he could re-list it. Eventually we negotiated a price a little closer to what I wanted and he told me he was doing me a favor. Next day I saw he already had it up for sale for almost twice what he paid me. I guess he didn’t need to repair it after all. I’m fine with people trying to make a buck, but this was far from a fair deal. He went beyond just a lowball offer by flat out lying about his costs and efforts in prepping for resale. Pretty upset with myself for letting him get over on me. I would recommend staying away from this dealer location.

'95 Saturn

SCAMMERS
I got a trade in amount for my car. I printed it and talked to Joe on the phone about trading it in. He said come down and we will talk. I went there the next day and they wanted to give me less then the trade in quote. The car was a 2019 outlander with 9000 miles. Not a dent or anything wrong. I was quoted $4000.00 less then the quote. when I questioned about why he said that we can get more if I scam the bank my loan was with. He said with the Corona virus and people out of work the bank would deal with me for less then what was owed on the car and that's how I could get more money. I told him I didn't want to scam anyone I just wanted what the quote said my car was worth and I would pay the difference to pay car off. After he disappeared for over a half hour he came back in an said if your not going to go thru with the bank scam he wasn't dealing with me... I said I have a quote here with your name on it and I spoke to you yesterday. His comment was that's a piece of paper off the internet and not a check. I will not give you a check unless you call the bank and tell them you can't pay for the car.. I said no... His response was see ya then. He said hasta la vista. Do not do business with this crocked company..

I shouldn't have been sold a truck that needed thousands of dollars in repairs done the SAME MONTH I bought it. They said they "took care" of the inspection before I drove it off the lot. Yeah, right. The truck was not safe for me drive. They definitely just popped a new inspection sticker on and made me believe otherwise. Do NOT trust them.

Very unprofessional
Horribly unprofessional. Tom had called me to go a zoom call to inspect my vehicle, which I then scheduled and had the appointment accepted. No show! I had to pull my car out of parking to prepare for it, so he wasted my time and money. I booked a second appointment and he was a no-show again. Terrible professionalism.
