Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had buying a
Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. When discussing numbers they agreed to go with my pre-approval. I understood that they would still need to run my credit with the pre-approval, so I gave them permission to only run it for that, and ONLY that. When I was in the finance office, I found out that they had ran it through their bank instead. They finance guy said it would have been a lot more work to run my pre-approval. Two days later I found out they actually ran my credit 5 times, INCLUDING THE BANK I WAS PRE-APPROVED THROUGH!! This was completely unnecessary as my credit score WAS over 800. They did this to maximize their payout with absolute disregard for what was agreed upon. I brought all of this up to them and they promised a manager would call and rectify it, but nothing ever happened, not even a call. Not like they can undo the hard credit inquiries. This place is borderline criminal and if they hadn't gotten my signature to run credit on the pre-approval, I'd be suing. It's really disappointing because I have bought two other vehicles from Tynan's and had no issue with a pre-approval before. There were also mechanical repairs needed, including an active ABS light. It was arranged in the deal that they would take care of it the following week, and I would be provided a loaner. I called several times and nobody would call back or was given the run around. Finally ended up speaking to someone the following week and they said they would have the service guy call me. Finally spoke to the service guy and he said I just needed to clear faults and it would be good. I informed him that this is a permanent ABS fault that needs addressed. I had already hooked it up to a scan tool. More and more run around for over a month, with promises of having a loaner available in a couple weeks. First week of January I was told it would be about another month before they had a loaner. I told them that was not acceptable and that this is a safety concern. They finally agreed to reimburse me on a rental car and they had me take it to a Jeep dealership for repairs. February came around and my temp tag expired without ever having received anything from the state in order to get plates. I went down to talk to the state and they had absolutely no record of the deal having taken place. They told me to get them on the phone and they could send something over while I was there, and they get me a new temp tag. The dealership refused to speak to them and had the nerve to blame me for not informing them before going to the state. I'm sorry, I would have assumed you would do your job and submitted the paperwork like you are supposed to. Instead of talking to them, they submitted it electronically and said I can come the following day and pick it up from them or they can FedEx it. I live over an hour away, so I had them send it to me, which I received the following week. Apparently this vehicle was owned by their VW dealership, so I was sent down the street to complete the paperwork. DJ was completely useless and couldn't even answer basic questions without asking someone else. He acted like it was a chore to make the sale.

Bought a used vehicle Saturday evening.
Bought a used vehicle Saturday evening. Realized Sunday morning the dealership put windshield washer fluid in the cooling system. Went and got the radiator flushed immediately (which was on a Sunday). Tried to get Tynan’s to be accountable for their mistake and they just argued with me. I had video of what I found, as well as notes from the technician that flushed the wiper fluid out of my car and they refused to admit fault and would not reimburse me for the $140 coolant flush. Stay away!

In late summer I was interested in a 2022 Tiguan that they had for sale for a decent price. I drove down to this store at an agreed meeting time. When I showed up and found the car in the lot I found it was full of hail damage. Neither the listing or DJ told me about this. The rear cargo area also had old parts from a previous service repair (that was never removed, I took it home with me). After figuring out a deal that they agreed to repair some of the more obvious damage. I was left at the VW store waiting on finance. During the finance process I was asked if I wanted aftermarket warranty, which I declined. As I went to sign on the iPad I found that the pop up covers up what I was agreeing to. I close it and found that Key coverage and GPS location service was selected. I had already stated to DJ I did not want the GPS service. They said it already in the car, implying that there was nothing they could do. It can be removed and I do not want it. But in finance it was on the deal. I had to remind everyone again that I did not want that. Finally everything was off the deal and I was just paying for the car. Eventually, when I wanted the hail damage repaired, DJ told me that the were "weeks out" and I can get a quote from someone local to me and have Tynan pay them. After I sent them the quote from someone I found locally ($1500), they asked If I could have them match "their guys" price($1200). I declined to ask some business owner that I have no relationship with to lower his price. Eventually we agreed on Dec 13th for the hail repair. We dropped of the vehicle around 6:30pm on Thursday night. Their shop does no have a night drop box with envelopes, you just throw your key through a whole in the door. Also, the parking lot is block off so your vehicle is parked on the street. DJ told me when we agreed on the Dec 13th that the repairs will take one day. I heard nothing from them until 4:00pm that the car will be one the following day. We had plans that we needed the vehicle for Saturday morning (Dec 14th). I could not get a clear reason the vehicle wasn't completed or if it was even work on. We have to move around things for Saturday and was finally contacted by DJ at 2:30pm that the vehicle would be ready in 30 min. My wife picked up the vehicle and we found that some dent were not repaired. DJ said, "they are something other then hail". The we owe that we all signed states "repair hail and other dents on hood as well as driver's side front and rear panels". Saying that is something "other then hail" is extremely frustrating and dishonest. They did not repair the vehicle as they said they would and cannot be trusted. I'm not sure if is lack of ability or they just don't care but DJ and others at this store and Tynan are extremely difficult to deal with. I do not regret buying this Tiguan but I do regret buying from Tynan. I have worked at several dealerships throughout my career and it isn't hard to be honest, caring and do what you agree to, while still making money. After Tynan, DJ and Troy were paid they did not make any effort to make it right.

Be wary of this dealership. Was sold a car with three bent wheels. Car starts to shake going up and over 50 mph. Took it to tynans Jetta service center and would not cover repair. The inspection forms showed the technician did not inspect the wheels and I was given a form that marked “no dealer warranty” bought as is even though I bought a warranty which still does not cover repairs. I spoke with sales manager/internet sales director and loyalty manager about this and they cut off communication with me. Please have the car inspected and inspection report looked at by a third party before purchasing.

I replied back via email and tried calling and received no response. Nothing in the inspection paperwork did the technician write anything about inspecting the wheels. If they had driven it up to 50mph they would’ve noticed the car shaking. If someone wants to show me where it notes that the wheels were inspected then someone can reach out to me.
Update: it’s been over a week. No one contacted me and “explained in great detail” thus proving me right about them cutting off contact

Both DJ and Troy worked with mine and my wife’s complicated schedules with work, kids, sporting events, etc. They even let us keep our two cars that we were giving back to the lenders on their lot for pickup. Went in to look at the dodge charger they had car
Went in to look at the dodge charger they had car wouldn’t even start. Manager wouldn’t even let us test drive the vehicle with out checking are credit first. Manager lied about the price also car was listed for 25 grand and she said it was for 30 horrible customer service definitely won’t be spending my money here
