Was looking for a good, used 4x4 on internet, "Auto Boutique" shows up through Car Gurus. They have exactly what I was looking for and its about $5500... under retail(???). I schedule a test drive and go to Jax. Arrive and test drive the vehicle. Noticed little things wrong such as scratches and scuffs on interior, couple small holes that looked kinda like pokes or punctures (weird - work truck? I dunno), vehicle interior is on the dirty side, radio knob missing, on board nav didn't work, radio worked but had no antennae (broken off), only one key and key fob, no jack and no spare, no owners manual, factory installed bed cargo restraint system missing, left rear passenger window in-op, etc, etc, several more small things. Ok, Ok, its used.....and about 5500 below retail.....and still in factory warranty; not much left, but still some. Motor/tranny/4x4 seems ok. Body is good, no obvious damage or rust. "Sold, I'll take it". So I get home with the truck and start looking at some of the little issues. This has been abused, that's been abused - no one takes care of a vehicle the same. Truck has pretty much been striped of everything, except absolute essentials - lost, theft, mis-placed, whatever, no probs, right?? Started diagnosing the window issue and discover evidence of "bullet" damage!!!!! A bullet has gone through the window motor and a 2nd one through the control mechanism for the window - this cant be repaired, needs to be replaced (maybe whole door cause of how all this area is made and put together), 3rd bullet hole out of lower rear armrest of same door, 4th bullet hole in front right passenger door below door handle, 5th bullet hole in front of bed between bed and cab and impacted against the inside of the bed on the left side and finally, as far as I can tell right now, a 6th bullet hole in the mud flap behind the right front wheel. The exterior has been repaired to where you cant see any evidence of exits wounds. The truck has been to downtown Fallujah, Iraq on a hot Saturday night with the Coalition Forces in town or has been in a local drive-by shooting incident. I clear my head and thoughts at this point, cause I don't know how all this turned out - and probably don't wanna' know. Though the upholstery looks almost new compared to the rest of the interior, interesting. Florida has no "lemon laws". Basically, I purchased an in-op key fob (I tried several times sync'ing it to veh, no luck), a valet key (only works in the ignition, if you're familiar - so actually, I cant lock the truck and then unlock it - fob doesn't work and key don't work on any locks, just the ignition), a decent truck body in the color I wanted and a seemingly good power train/drive train/4x4. But hey, "AS IS, what a deal - $5500 below retail".
In April, my husband purchased a vehicle through AutoBoutique. We got it financed through a financing company named Westlake, and had a signed contract,... and a $2500.00 down payment, and out the door. In May, we tried to call and make a payment to the finance company, when the payment was due. We found out that they had not yet finished processing our contract or created an account to even receive payment. (Going to try to give as much information as I can without representing the fault of the finance company, as that is a different issue on another BBB Complaint.) We were then contacted by the auto dealership asking us to add “myself” to the application/contract. Remind you, we already had a signed contract out the door. Okay, fine, we added myself to the application/contract. We NEVER heard anything back from them for weeks and weeks. We had made several attempts to contact them, my husband and myself, trying to get through to a member of management or even the finance department. Still, no results. My husband even got put on hold, and listed to them talk crap about their customers for over 45 minutes (they didn’t realize someone must have accidentally put him on speaker, or set the phone down and forgot to press hold), and still no one ever picked up the phone. In the meantime here is where my complaint comes in…. Shortly after that phone call that was made to us from AutoBoutique asking to add myself to the contract/application, we started getting alerts for more credit inquires!!!! This was over 30 days/6 weeks since we left with our purchase. They did not ask us if they could do it, they just did it. We did not give them further authorization to run our credit at all. By this time, we had had the vehicle for six weeks already!!! Last week, Autoboutique called demanding us to return the vehicle. So, we demanded they give us our down payment back. We wanted to file a lawsuit however, we signed an Arbitration agreement (which is where you cannot get the law involved pertaining anything in the contract/application). We took the truck in, and discussed what was going on again. She admitted that this situation was fault of their own and that better professional practices should have been used. She even furthermore, stated and agreed with us that running our credit several more times without authorization is ANOTHER CASE, (which was not a part of the arbitration agreement)!!! My husband and I are very disappointed that it has come to this because we really loved the truck!!! HOWEVER, NOW WE DON’T HAVE A TRUCK, AND THEY HAVE DAMAGED OUR CREDIT!!!!! We also want everyone to be aware that they add all types of warranties and services to your contract/application that you have to pay for that may not even be applicable to your vehicle. AutoBoutique added on a service that was supposed to repair rips in upholstery or repair faded paint, etc., and we were not even able to use the services while we had the vehicle. People please contact the people that the additional services or warranties are through and make sure that your vehicle is covered. They will lead you to believe that the services are Great! But they aren’t great if you can’t use them!!!
They were very accommodating. Made buying our car a pleasure. They gave a fair amount on the trade in. The vehicle was clean and in good condition.
They will run your credit, not call you for days and sell the car that you told them you were ready to buy right from underneath you!!! I contacted them... this last weekend in regards to a specific car, they gave me the final out the door price, and Sunday I called to tell them that I was interested in purchasing the car. I was asked to fill out an online Credit application, which I did, and that someone would call me on Monday. Monday came and no one called, so I decided to give them another call. I spoke with Andrew, and he told me to fill out a Credit Application. I told him I already did and I am ready to purchase the car NOW. He said he will make sure everything looks good on my credit, and give me a call back. Minutes later, I received a notification from my credit score app that the dealership pulled my credit (keep in mind my credit score is 750). Monday night comes around and still no return call, even though I know they ran my credit. I called again...I was told by their "Online Sales Department" that Andrew was busy and would call me back, he never did and they closed for the day. Tuesday is here and I called them right when they opened and their "Online Sales Department" told me Andrew is with clients and will call me back. 3 hrs later he calls me and tells me "Unfortunately I sold that car last night to someone else, it's first come first serve" They sold it "Monday night" to someone that walked into the dealership after they had run my credit for this specific car that afternoon, first come first serve? I don't think so! In summary, their "Online Sales Department" is completely useless as they can't properly handle an Online Sale. DO NOT fill out their Credit Application online as they will pull your credit and sell the car you want right from underneath you. Slimiest dealership I have ever dealt with, stay away and buy your car from a dealership that has ethics. I will be reporting them to the BBB as well.
Very friendly staff and they would very informative on the Cadillac which I was going to test drive and also they follow up with me at least once a week... letting me know the car is still available
When we first went to the dealership they were very eager to earn our business. Veeto helped us and was very nice. We bought the car on a Friday and drove... it home (45 mins away). When we got there and my husband pulled his work bag out of the back seat HUNDREDS of tiny german roaches scattered!!!! They all took off running into the compartment where the seatbelts go into the seats and under the carpet where the seats bolt to the floor. We immediately called back to Veeto and he apologized thoroughly and said to bring the car back and they would get it taken care of. We drove the car back to them 45 mins (which was horrific because of the amount of cockroaches everywhere). They would not pay for a tow truck. Upon arriving back to their dealership it was full of customers so the branch manager Alex met with us and was trying to be very quiet about the situation. Initially he tried to ask us if we were going to wait for the car to be bug bombed. I quickly explained to him that a "simple" bug bomb would NOT be enough as there were HUNDREDS of tiny roaches everywhere and he needed to make sure this issue was resolved but it would not happen in one day. He overly assured us that this issue would be resolved by Monday and no need to stop payment on our check or back out now. Monday rolled around and we were unable to get anyone on the phone alllllll day. My husband eventually showed up to the dealership after work and it was COMPLETELY EMPTY and asked why no one had been answering his calls all day.... they stated that they had been busy earlier. The branch manager Alex wouldn't even speak with him. Veeto was again very nice and super apologetic. My husband also asked if there was a three day lemon law and he would like to have his money back. The branch manager told Veeto to tell us there is no lemon law with used car dealers. My husband was then told the car wouldn't be ready until Tuesday therefore he had to then have me drive another 45 minutes from home to pick him up. They said that they did not have the capability of giving him a loaner car. Tuesday comes once again all day still unable to get anyone on the phone... my husband shows up after work and once again the dealership is completely empty. They were busy earlier and couldn't get to the phone but he can wait on the car it will be back from the detailer shortly, one hour max. He waits almost THREE hours and finally the car is brought around. They have stated that the whole time the car was being detailed. As soon as my husband opens up the door there was a dead roach therefore they had obviously not vacuumed it right before they brought it back. They assured him it had been treated all weekend and taken completely apart and the roaches were taken care of. At this point the check had already cleared the bank. Again my husband confirmed if we could just get our money back and leave them the car.... they stated no. He drove the car home and noticed multiple live roaches on his commute. Once he got it home and darkness came they all came out again....hundreds of them. TONS of them on the inside and the outside of the car. The car was clearly still infested!!!!! We contacted Orkin to come to our house and treat the car which did not work. Now we are stuck paying $550 to a fumigation place to tent the car in hopes that this will fix our problem. We have owned the car for almost three weeks and have yet to be able to drive it yet due to the roaches. After reaching out to the dealership again they offered us a credit to for another car. We have no interest in any other cars on their lot, therefore were stuck with this COCKROACH CAR. If youve made it this far in reading Be careful of this dealership and their upfront covers of being nice and a high end place. They will in no way live up to what they say....
This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had. We (my wife and I) had to wait to have the vehicle that we were interested in buying be brought... from another lot. This was only a minor inconvenience and I really shouldn't even mention it but others should know what to expect. There was absolutely no pressure at all... NONE! We took our time looking over the vehicle and took it for a test drive. Alex answered all of our questions quickly and honestly. He showed us the Carfax and we made the decision to buy. It was so unexpected (in a good way). The whole process was simple and easy. Even the paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. We were expecting the high pressure "car salesman" and instead left in a new (to us) vehicle feeling very satisfied with our purchase. I highly recommend Auto Boutique to anyone looking for a used vehicle.
The cars they sell are the bottom of the barrel wholesale pickings. They will then try to gouge you for a grand over their Advertised price. They also... insist on ALL your contact information before they let you test drive.. not just driver license and insurance. Everything about these guys is Low Rent.
My wife bought a 2019 Ford fusion from this company 28Feb20 car was on market for 14,960. We put 4700 down on. After getting it home the engine management... light came on so I took to ford as it only 5k on clock, they told it an array of issues with it things which weren't fixed after a collision it had been in prior. The warranty wont cover the issues. So after getting the good news I did something which my did not do on the day and that is go through the contract with a fine tooth comb! Upon looking at it I noticed they slapped on an extra $4232 in BS fees. Such as service contract 2402, delivery charge of 965 even though this is only for brand new motors fresh outta factory, electronic filing fee 278 should be no more than 75, dealer service fee of 687 like really ya selling the car and ya want more! So minus the fees she accepted she bought which cost $10260 after down payment which came to a total of 19525. I am now trying to contact them to get this BS fixed. Do not buy from these unless ya know what ya looking at!
IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD. Bought a car for my son for Christmas in October 2019. The car set until Christmas. He drove the car for a month and put... about 2k miles on it when it started missing and loosing coolant. Took the car to my local Ford Dealership since the car was what I thought under Factory power train warranty since the car only has 39000 miles on it. To my surprise the motor has to be replaced and I have to pay for it due to the car being hot for an extended period according to the computer. The car had been wrecked prior to our purchase and poorly put back together. The radiator and A/C condinser was still bent which you couldn't see by just raising the hood. I have contacted a lawyer and pursuing legal action. By the way the new motor is costing half of what I paid for the car. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!
