I enjoyed the best car buying experience of my lifetime

I enjoyed the best car buying experience of my lifetime at Speedcraft Acura. I first met with Tom Conti in October and placed an order for a 22 RDX. I paid a deposit fee and we basically had a hand shake agreement on the price until the vehicle arrived in March. We closed on the deal in three days and I paid exactly what I expected for my new vehicle. No flim/flam; no added unnecessary charges; Just an honest fair deal. I definitely would recommend Tom as a salesman and the entire dealership staff who assisted me on my trade-in and financing. It was just a great experience!

Disappointed With Service Management

I have owned Acura’s for 23 years and never had an experience like I did this week. I went in for an oil change which went fine other than it takes 1.5hr for just an oil change, but also I asked to have my car valued. This is the second time I have asked during an oil change. The last time it was never done after asking twice. The service manager asked me if I knew the car was a buy back. Why yes, in fact I did. All he had left to say “we at Speedcraft do not deal with these kinds of cars.” So my disappointment is in two parts. One...It’s an Acura. Acura took the car back to fix the issue and you as Speedcraft Acura are a representative of Acura so you should be able to give me the value of my car. Second, I never once asked to trade it in. In fact, I expressed the fact that I was purchasing new tires soon. All I asked for was a number...the value of my car. If you are a service manager who can not give me a value of a car even if it’s a buy back Acura then you should not be a service manager at all. The trust is lost because that tells me you don’t know how to do your job and you don’t value your customer as you walk away from me. Part of your job is knowing how to value a car. I don’t know if he thought he could talk to me the way he did because I am a women or he didn’t understand the meaning of the word value but as far as I’m concerned they lost a customer for life. I will go back to First Acura in Seekonk for better management communication and I will continue to tell everyone what a poor experience I had and I am seriously thinking of buying Lexus next time seeing as Acura has become a disappointment this time around.


Great Service

Had an oil change and rotation/balance. Was told it would be a while but ended up being under an hour, which is quick for both services. I have an RLX and asked other dealers to rotate my tires- the other dealers didn’t bother and said it didn’t need it (laziness because I told them why I wanted it done). This dealership did exactly what I asked which is what should happen, but just nice to finally have things done right after 2 other dealerships failed to do so. I was treated nice at this dealership, but as for the Acura brand the experience has not been what I expected. I have a new RLX and would like to at least be treated like I have a “luxury” brand. Again no problem with this dealership, but just wanted to include in the review for anyone shopping for an Acura that has not had one before.

Particularly love the car wash

Air-bag recalls all fixed and the car was washed while I waited. All went smoothly. LOL, cannot comment on quality of repairs until a day my airbags release...but I am confident all is well.

Such a positive experience and Tom made the buying process so easy and painless. I shopped at a couple of other dealers and felt that Speedcraft would provide the best customer service and Tom was the ultimate reason.

Do Not Recommend

I can't say I recommend this dealership. I bought a slightly used Honda Accord in late 2018, which had some curb rash on two of the rims and adhesive on the rear window (from tint that had be removed). I bought the car under the condition that these issues would be remedied. Unfortunately, when I went I brought my vehicle back to have it attended to (90 min drive), they fixed one of two wheels that needed attention and failed to remove the adhesive on the rear window. They said I could bring it back in to have the other wheel fixed and the adhesive removed. Been waiting 5 months at this point. They have gone radio silent with no replies to multiple emails. In addition, the car was listed as a non-smoker, even though it was evident the previous owner smoked in the vehicle. Finally, during the purchasing process, they forced me to watch an ArmorAll SmartShield sales video and tried to sell me the product for about 30 minutes. I told them for the beginning of their pitch I was uninterested, but they were relentless. It was extremely uncomfortable Free coffee was a plus.


Excellent Customer Service

I recently made an appointment at Speedcraft Acura to have my passenger air bag replaced. Overall, my experience was top notch. I will definitely be back for future service or to purchase my next vehicle.
