Don't spend your money here!
Based on a January 19th, 2023 estimate, I gave them three days notice of my arrival for repair. After I waited for 2 1/2 hours at the dealership, the service advisor told me that they were missing three major parts that they needed to overnight and then sent me 45 minutes across town in their "shuttle" to get a rental car. I ended up walking 10 miles from that location because I didn't need the rental and I didn't want to pay the deposit and the taxes on it. On the date of the repair estimate, I was told that the total price including taxes would be about $6,500. The final bill was $7,464.25 and it showed "0.00" in the tax column. After reporting the before mentioned at KIA.com on February 3rd, 2023, I noticed damage that they caused to the front bumper which I later got an estimate for which was $1,117.38 for what they could see but could run into more depending on what could be damaged that they can't see. I posted pictures of the damage as well as the estimate to my case at KIA.com. Also, there was a missing lug nut that I paid to replace. I uploaded my lug nut receipt as well. I then submitted more documentation regarding the bumper damage and missing lug nut. I also brought my car back to Dyer KIA on February 3rd (a few days after the alleged repairs) to have the brake pedal looked at again. On the estimate, the list of repairs included a brake flush. However, on February 3rd, 2023, they stated that the brake flush had nothing to do with how the brake pedal was acting. When I spoke with someone at Regal KIA where I got the estimate to repair the bumper damage, I was told that the brake flush does affect the way that the brake pedal responds. To date, I'm still not sure if the brake issue was resolved. I was originally told by KIA that Dyer KIA would give me an offer in approximately 6 weeks. I've called KIA numerous times and when I called on March 30th, 2023, I was told that this was sent to Dyer KIA around the end of February. So far, Dyer KIA hasn't reached out with any offer or even an apology.

Thought this service visit would be quick and easy
A small repair, in and out right? Not the case. The part wasn't in when we brought the car to be serviced. They kept it all day rather than calling in the morning when they knew the part wouldn't be in for a couple of days. I had to keep calling to see if the part had come in rather than Dyer reaching out to me. Once I learned the part was in and made an appointment the service advisor called to say the part was in and to schedule an appointment! Not sure if systems don't talk or if people on different teams don't communicate. Our service advisor was very personable but could use some basic phone and customer service skills. On the phone and in person, I felt like he delt with me as if I was one of his friends, this is warm but not professional. Others I've delt with at Dyer were similar. I'd recommend you put the staff through phone training: - Hi, this is XXXXX how can I help you. - This is the status of your car. - Thank you for calling, is there anything else I can help you with. In person: - Hello Mr./Mrs. - Your car is ready, etc. - Thank you for your business. In addition the same staff could use basic training in being forthright as regards timing. I was told, after I called twice regarding the status of my car, I could pick it up at 4:00. When I got there it wasn't ready and had to wait a half hour. I wasn't in a rush but I'd rather have been at home then waiting in the dealership. Once I'd paid I asked where my car was, I had to stand around and wait at least 10 minutes for it to be brought out, not sure what that was about. I thought that maybe the car was being washed but that wasn't the case. Apparently the service area had an incredibly hectic day, I understand that can happen. I would have been happy to wait to pick it up the next day if that was needed, that would have been preferable to me over waiting around the service area. The important thing is to be straight forward with the customer regarding timing so that they can understand their choices.

Service staff is very helpful and personable. Wouldn't go anywhere els service and when ready to buy will definitely get it here

Today took the longest time for me to see a service representative. Although I had an appointment it still took 2+ hours for my oil change. This did not make me a happy customer. I live only a few miles away from another Kia dealership. I ditched them for lying to me. I chose to buy my new car from Dyer instead. Now I'm getting poor service. I hope this was an anomaly. I will try your service department once more when the time comes. If what happened to me this time happens again, I will do my business elsewhere.
