Bad business

I purchased a vehicle from this place. When I had the vehicle serviced I was informed that this vehicle was not safe to drive. The frame was rusted and had several rust holes in it, the suspension was rusted. I found out that the vehicle was salvage in West Virgina in 2019. It was inspected the day of sale. It should not have passed, It took seventy plus days to get a title,

A VERY satisfied customer.

I'm trying to fit 10 stars into a 5 star bag. They were extremely efficient, honest, and helpful. Mohamed the owner drove an hour each way to and from the Richmond airport when I flew in from the midwest to purchase the car. The car was everything he claimed it was and more. Drove a flawless 1400 mile home in the 1994 Suzuki Jimmy. Trust is the key to professionalism and they were very trustworthy. I would and might buy from him again.

Unrivaled selection, fair prices, excellent staff!

My experience with Virginia Auto Mall was outstanding! Umair was very great to work with and, even though I was coming from over 5 hours away, he worked diligently to ensure I had all the information I needed and felt safe and comfortable with a car I had not seen in person. They were very accommodating when I arrived and allowed me to thoroughly inspect the vehicle and take it for a lengthy test drive to ensure everything was in order. The vehicle was exactly as he had described. We agreed on a very fair price and he handled my paperwork quickly and efficiently and he had me ready to go in no time! I am so very pleased with my experience with them and would highly recommend them to anyone! Not only was my experience in this purchase fantastic, but I was also completely amazed at the range of selection that they had! They keep multiple JDM imported vehicles on the lot and they are all incredibly clean and low mileage! I will be watching his future listing very closely and may very well go back to purchase another vehicle from him!!

Stay Away!

Horrible and disrespectful dealership with over the top pressured sales tactics. The car had already sold itself. Wasn't a great deal but wasn't terrible. The staff was so disrespectful that after three hours of the buying process (dealing with the bank stuff and paperwork) I cancelled the sale and left. I was literally at the end where I send them the money. Trust me, STAY AWAY! Too much to list but some of the things were... prying at the computer while i was logged in to my bank, rude tones, behaving as if they doing me a favor, the list goes on. I should have left at the start.

Car repair

The other night I was at a gas station, and I couldn't get my car to start for the life of me. Thankfully I was next to Michael Taylor from Virginia Auto mall, who saw that I was having trouble and helped me get it started. Without him I would've been in a tough spot.

Very misrepresented vehicle

My girlfriend purchased a 2002 wrangler from them with 110,000 miles. They charged her $9,500 after we pointed out that it needed a power steering box and a track bar, and a $399 processing fee (which is a very high processing fee for a used dealer) They told us all about how they go through every vehicle, from top to bottom, and bragged about how they did a bunch of work to make it road ready to include new tires (which were mismatched) and a transfer case drop. We test drove it, didn't present any issues at the time. go to drive it home and about 5 miles down the road from the dealership it popped a check engine light for a cylinder 4 misfire. We had to come back to get the windshield replaced as part of the purchase agreement. I told them at the time we arrived that it had the misfire issue. The salesman deflected saying their mechanic wasn't there. They had a contractor put in a windshield, and then screwed the guy for $20 on the bill, and told him to ask US for the $20. We drove it a total of about 3 times after the purchase, once home from the dealer, once back to the dealer for the windshield, and once to george washington national park. On the way home from the park the front driveshaft literally FELL OUT of the transfer case 2 hours away from home. Then, the throwout bearing started to rattle so bad that we can hardly get it into first gear. I called them and told them about our issues and they absolutely refuse to stand behind their vehicle, saying that it's our fault even though the driveshaft fell out due to poor workmanship by their staff. Total ripoff artists

Took less than two weeks for my car to break.

I bought a 2002 Jeep Wrangler two weeks ago and dropped the front drive shaft already, numerous repairs needed and Virginia Auto Mall will not help me out. I recommend not buying from this dealership. My salesman, Mike, was great but the ownership and obviously their mechanics leave plenty to be desired. It had a brand new inspection sticker on a windshield that had to be replaced before I could take it home. Wouldn't have passed a real inspection for that alone, not to mention the thousands of dollars of repairs it needed less than a month into my owning it. I understand a 2002 will have issues but for 10k I expected a level of reliability.

Hands down Virginia Auto Mall is the best!!!

These guys were absolutely the best to work with! They held my car for me and no rush at all! These guys are patient, no pressure, solid salesmen. The range and options of vehicles are definitely there, plus the guys are friendly and reassuring. I'd recommend Virginia Auto Mall to anyone looking to buy a vehicle!

VAM & Omar are the best in used car sales!

My MB R350 was recently totaled. So I wanted to purchase the same type of car asap. Contacted Omar at VAM and my search was over! I was able to reach him all day everyday. I wanted to just come in sign papers and drive off so Omar made sure that I did just that. Even worked with me on the down payment. Had ALOT of beautiful cars on lot. Omar and receptionist were very friendly and business minded--no games--complete honesty with knowledge of cars--highly recommend you see Omar if you're looking for a used reliable car?
