Forced to take "packages" on the car at time of purchase, that I didn't want. Made the car too expensive. I should have walked away. Slimy tactics in the finance department. Kia makes a great car, but if you have to avoid buying one to keep out of this dealership, I would consider other brands at all costs. Not enough dealers in the city to promote proper competition. Service department tried to force extra add-ons to an oil change plan already included, siting they would threaten the warranty coverage if I didn't comply.

Don't shop here.

Don't shop here...if you have to wait for a vehicle they'll probably stick you with "a market adjustment fee" even though you wait months for the vehicle because of Kia....... https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/market-adjustment-fee-car-sales-1.6653676

This company will well you a car for an agreed price, in writing, and put down a deposit, and then Jack the price up when it arrives and you go in to finalize the paperwork. Just google Kia West Edmonton and Randy Lowry. No ethics whatsoever. Sad. Go to another dealer.

I have been dealing with Kia West Edmonton since they have been under new ownership. I can only say good things about them, from the sales persons to the management team. I always feel like family when I walk in, often just to admire their vehicles, being a real cars man. Keep up the good work.

Corrupt dealership practices.

Edmonton man told to pay $2,400 'market adjustment' fee on new car he'd ordered — or lose it month after kia agreed to the sale and took a deposit. As per cbc reporting. You have traded a quick profit for reputation destruction a terrible business decision

Never Kia west edmonton again!

Never Kia west edmonton again!!! You will get ripped of! My husband and i decided we want a new vehicle. We did some research online and we were sure the Kia Telluride would be our choice. We went to the West Edmonton Kia dealership. Will was our salesman and seemed to me really pushing but we really like the vehicle so we went for it. He promised us the vehicle will be here within at 3 months. We signed all the papers and put our deposit of $1000 down, we were happy with our decision to buy a brand new Kia Telluride. 3 month went by and there was no Kia. Will never thought its important to update his customers for the delay. There was always the excuse "we cant really say as we dont know whats going on in the manufacteri ". 4 month and still no word about the new Kia and still the same excuse. So we started to make some calls to the manufacteri. They told us there was never a 3 month wait, it was always 9 to 12 month. We were really disappointed by that as we were promised 3 month. But so it is we have to wait. Still no word or apology from Will or Kia West Edmonton for the inconvenience and lying. 10 month later we finally got the call our Kia is here and we are welcome to come test drive it. Why would we wanna test drive a vehicle we bought initially? A day after another call came from Goran (sales Manager) and told us the price went up $5500 for the vehicle we already had signed papers and a deposit down. This didn't feel right and we wanted to think about it, talking to a lawyer... he basically just told us if we make trouble he will give us the deposit back and sell it for over $10'000 more from the lot. His excuse was based on covid and that we didn't had a VIN number when they started to build the vehicle. Nobody ever told us the price could increase because of covid. Also how could we have a VIN number when we ordered brand new?! We were blown away from the rudeness how Kia West Edmonton treats their customers. At the end we told them we will take the Vehicle as we don't really have another chance. Needed the new car and couldn't wait to order another one as we had a Baby on the way. We started to get all the financing ready and again Kia had of course an issue with us paying all on our credit card. We were only allowed to pay $5000. If we would pay the full amount Kia would have to pay a 4% processing fee and of course they don't want that. Once again Kia West Edmonton clearly doesn't care about their Customers! At the end we were just done arguing and did the bank draft. We went to Edmonton to get our car. After looking at it and checking it out we went do the Finance Manager Kathleen Kritchley. We gave her the credit card for the $5000 and the draft. Signed the papers and just wanted to get the xxxx out of that unprofessional place. The following days we got threatening email and calls from Ryan Kelly ( other sales Manager) because they again made a mistake and didn't charge the Credit card with the additional $5000. We told them we will talk to our bank and see if that is true as we lost all the trust. We will get back to them, as its not our fault for their continued incompetence. The threatening calls (multiple times a day) didn't stop. Funny now as they made a mistake and want their money they can call us but never before to update us. Again a sign what Kia West Edmonton cares about. At the end we payed the missing money and wanted just be done with them. Nerver ever again we will go to Kia West Edmonton. People please be aware they don't care about you, only about your money and they aren't scared to rip you off. Its almost a criminal behavior.
