Volkswagen of Marietta has lost my trust, patience and me as a customer. I will never recommend this service center to anyone I know. Since moving to Atlanta,... I have taken my vehicle to VW of Marietta to be serviced. Loyalty and relationships are clearly not valued to this location. In August I had an issue with my vehicle and brought it here to be diagnosed. I was told what needed to be replaced/repaired, and agreed. It was not an inexpensive fix, and I work hard for what I earn. Only last week the same issue happened to my vehicle, an issue that I assumed was fixed when I paid for my service in August. I called the service center, explained what happened, and was told was they "replaced" may or may not have been the cause of the issue, they just replaced it because it was likely the cause. I was told I should come back in for another diagnostic review. I was also told that what was replaced (and again it was replaced without knowing if it was the actual cause of the problem) could have been faulty, but they weren't sure. I took it the next morning for a second opinion at a specialty service center for German cars. The owner discussed that what was replaced in August was not likely the cause of the problem and he was sympathetic that I had spent money and time replacing something that was not the cause of the problem. I called VW of Marietta to discuss my distrust, frustrations, and feelings that I have been taken advantage of. I explained the situation to a nice woman in customer service who said she'd leave a message for the manager. A week later, he hasn't called back. Clearly, VW of Marietta does not care about the customers they mistreat, and I will do my best to ensure that others are aware of that.

VW of Marietta went beyond their means to accommodate our family at the dealership. Whitney Starnes, the sales rep, was amazing and very helpful. Whitney... was very detailed and made sure that our family felt at home. The finance manager, Amanda Cantrell, was also very friendly and made the process very smooth. They have friendly staff like Lisa, Amanda and Tom, and I’ve always... felt comfortable with the way they handle my car and any repairs needed. I had a very negative experience at this dealership. Everything started out great -- my wife and I test drove a 2015 Passat and loved it. The salesman... offered us a price, we said we'd be paying cash, but we needed to think on it. I called back two days later to confirm that he could still offer us the same price, and he said yes. I had to Uber 30 minutes across town to get to the dealership, thinking I'd be driving home in a car. When I got there the salesman said he'd made a mistake and the car was going to be an extra $500 unless I financed it. Apparently there was a miscommunication between him and the general manager, and now I was expected to pay for their misunderstanding. All in all, poor customer sevice and a lack of professionalism.
