I have taken my car to Volkswagen of Marietta for the

I have taken my car to Volkswagen of Marietta for the past three years due to its close proximity to my job. Let me first make this clear, if I could give 0 stars I would. I would not send my worst enemy to this dealership, and I'm not being dramatic. I have spent the last three years complaining about a loud noise coming from my suspension when going over bumps. The car is a 2021 Volkswagen Arteon that I purchased brand new in 2021. I have complained about it each and every time I've taken the car in. I was told they could never replicate it, I was told that's how the suspension on my particular car sounded. They even told me a tech from corporate came to drive the car and said that's how the suspension sounds. I was constantly gaslit by this dealership to the point where I thought I was just being crazy. I went through the corporate buy back process, denied. I went to arbitration with the BBB, claim denied. They would not even demand that they fix the problem. In one final attempt to get this issue resolved before my warranty ends (I'm at 47,000 out of 50,000 miles), I took the car to Jim Ellis VW of Chamblee. It. Took. One. Visit. One single visit at that dealership for them to replicate the sound and order new struts for the car. I just picked it up, and the sound is completely gone. This dealership is a joke, an absolute joke. The staff isn't organized, the processes aren't organized, and it's completely chaotic. I had to have my steering wheel replaced due to another issue, and they put the steering wheel on crooked two times prompting me to go back and complain. The issue that it was replaced for is still happening as well. They kept my car for about 35 days trying to figure out the problem with the suspension, and provided me with a loaner Tiguan. I noticed about a week in that the temp tag on the Tiguan had expired, and I was driving around with expired plates. They provided me with an Atlas instead, only for me to get a call a week or two after requesting I bring the loaner back, because another customer needed the bigger car. I declined and told them they could have it back when my car was fixed. I took it back after the corporate tech told them my car wasn't fixable. I apologize for the lengthy review, but I feel like it's my duty to warn other customers. TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE. Again, one single visit to another dealership, and the suspension problem is fixed. I'm disappointed, pissed, and shocked at the utter lack of competence from this joke of a dealership and service department. I have a video posted in my google review if you come across it.

A week ago, I traded in my 2021 Golf GTI SE (who I had originally purchased it from Brian Harper who worked here previously) for a 2024 GTI Autobahn. I had the great pleasure of working with Josiah, who in fact I had been in contact previously in the last 3-4 months. I came in to the dealership last minute on a whim, 45 minutes before closing on a Friday and had a great conversation with Josiah - and unexpectedly went for a test drive... Long Story short, I came back the following day, Saturday late afternoon. I originally came in to make a deal on an SE with Leather package if it made sense for me to do so - I wasn't entirely sure it made sense for me, and I had such a great rapport with Josiah and the rest of the VW Team that I wanted to make the purchase. Not sure how, but the Sales Manager Ramazan (Not sure if correct as I refer to him as Rami), said he would cook something up and asked Josiah to pull out a White Opal Pearl Autobahn GTI for another test drive. I fell more in love with it, and it drove fantastic with the Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC). After the test drive, Ramazan provided me with the Estimate Sheet, and I was shocked because the numbers made sense, and it was an Autobahn trim. I knew this was it and had to pull the trigger. We shook hands and signed some paperwork and got the process rolling. Everything went smooth, and I was more than satisfied with the level of service I received from the whole VW Team - From Sales, to Finance - Pete is fantastic btw! - and the GM. What made this whole experience great was the level of professionalism but also personalism; they were very transparent and honest, and very understanding of my situation and circumstance. I am extremely ecstatic that I purchased my 2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI Autobahn with VW of Marietta, and more importantly so with Josiah, who is cousin's with Brian Harper, who originally sold me my 2021 VW Golf GTI SE. Thank you again VW of Marietta Team for working with me and making this happen!

My 2008 VW Passat was with them for nearly three weeks

My 2008 VW Passat was with them for nearly three weeks due to starting issues. We suspected it might be a fuse, battery, fuel line, or something draining the battery--an easy fix. From the start, communication was poor. Despite explaining the issue to three different people, they did nothing for days and failed to update us. My husband had to intervene by contacting Bryant, the service manager, who was the only one who pushed the mechanic to act. When we finally got the car back, it wouldn't start despite being told it was ready. We were shocked by the $200 bill instead of the expected $1000 but were still frustrated that the car wouldn't start. The mechanic misrepresented our conversation about the battery, ignoring our concerns about a possible bad battery or something draining it. In frustration, I demanded a new battery and a diagnostic for any battery drain. The mechanic refused, and my frustration led to an argument with a rude employee named AJ, who escalated the situation further. Eventually, Andrew (Dre) stepped in to calm things down and offer a sincere apology, showing the only sign of professional customer service. He is the only reason of the 1 star vs. a ZERO I moved my car to another VW dealership I've trusted before. Avoid this place for its poor communication, delays, and lack of integrity.

We ended up being $100 apart on this deal.

We ended up being $100 apart on this deal. I have never had a dealer walk away over $100. Seeing the car would an extra car for me. I really did not have to have it. I sent in an internet sales request over the weekend. One person called. As I was talked to the sales rep, another person from the dealership called. I thought WOW, thats service. I work with them and put together a deal. Submit my credit and give them everything they asked for on Monday. Sales Manager said we were good to go and we would wrap it up. Tuesday came and I did not hear from single person. 1pm came and I decided to call my sales rep. I talked to her a bit and tried to find out where my deal was. She said that she was scheduling getting the car brought to me. I told her that I never even heard from finance yet, so that was putting the cart before the horse. She told me the sales manager I was working with was off on Tuesday and they she would get someone to call me to finalize the deal shortly. 2 HOURS later, a finance guy called me. He tried to jack up the rate and had no clue on the information that the sales manager and I talked about on Monday. He wanted to give me the numbers over the phone, but I told him I needed to see the sheet from the bank showing the approval, rate, terms and payment. All he sent was the same deal sheet with a payment on it. Nothing about it be approved or who with. Being in the business, I know how this works. I also have credit monitoring so I know the only people that pulled my credit was the dealership (700CR Services). No bank pulled my credit. Anyways, he texted the deal sheet with the payment and I replied that it was good. By the end of business on Tuesday, not a single person has bothered to get back with me to finalize the deal. Not even my sales rep, who was very nice but has no follow-through. This dealership should stick to what they do best, in person sales and leave the internet sales up to the dealerships that are great at it. So I passed on the car, even though it was the exact car I was looking for right down to color, options and price. But when a dealership practically ignores me, I go elsewhere. And I have a hard credit hit to show for it. After speaking with the sales manager, we are $350 apart from making a deal. They have my number if they want to make a deal

The service department has very poor customer service.

The service department has very poor customer service. There are issues with long wait times for a simple issue, questions to whether or not inspections on the vehicle are actually repaired or is it inspected then you manually turn off the light indicator on the dashboard.
