Northstar thumbs up

I got my 2007 chevy Aveo here and it runs and drives great, great prices friendly service. Brandon is very helpful and accommodating. I had it for 6 months and haven’t had any issues. Thanks northstar!

Owner is deceptive or dumb

Heed the warnings in the comments. I can't decide if the owner is more close to being classified as 'special education' or dumb. I asked two yes or no questions. 1) Does the car have a valid NH inspection sticker?" he says yes. 2) "Can I pay you more for a warranty" he says yes. I show up. Gives me a story about how his cousin was just gonna buy the car and it's all set for inspection. I say "Ok, well how about this. I'll buy it under the terms in writing that it passes inspection, and offer you $300 above asking price for a 30 day warranty". Says he can't offer a warranty and the car is as-is. Thanks for wasting an hour and a half of my day, idiot. https://imgur.com/utUptmJ https://imgur.com/WfRvBTy https://imgur.com/V4UWXP2

This place is one of the worst places EVER!!

These guys just want your money and care about nothing else.. The friendliness wasn't there. The salesman was very rude and they won't give you anything for your trade. They offered me 3200 dollars below the book value of my car towards their piece of crap. I will never do business with them.

Honest and fair

I went to Northstar to look at some cars but I was in a jam and needed something fast. I only had 1500 to spend. He was able to work with me and tell me what the car needed was extremely honest and knew what he was talking about. Bought the car and fixed what he told me and haven’t had any issues

Stay Away From Northstar Auto

Should have read the reviews before buying a xxxxx. suv from these guys. We went here in a desperate situation, after our previous vehicle's engine blew, after only 2 months of owning it. We told them our situation, that we were borrowing money to buy another car, that we have a 5 year old to get to and from school, and that we use the vehicle for work every day. The only reason we bought this car is because we were told by both owner and mechanic, that it was inspectable, that it would take a sticker no problem. As soon as we drove away we realized we made a mistake. They gave us a junk battery, which had to be replaced the first day. Then the check engine light immediately came on. 2 out of 8 cylinders were not firing. So we spent over $400 more dollars on spark plugs, and coil packs, and having them installed. (We scheduled an appointment with the owner to install the coil packs, and the morning of the appointment, after waiting an hour at their shop, the owner said we would have to go pick up his mechanic, 20 minutes away, if we wanted the work done. Then he says his mechanic would not come in at all that day.) So we ended up spending $100 extra dollars at a different mechanic that day. After the work, cylinder 8 still isnt firing. All of the text messages from the owner very rude, like i was annoying him for trying to ask for help. Now, over a month later, cylinder 8 still not firing, and the car is leaking oil and coolant badly, as well as a variety of other issues, and the owner and mechanic will not respond at all. So now we're having to consider selling this vehicle for whatever we can get, to try to get a different vehicle that doesnt have a blinking check engine light and a growing list of serious issues. I can't beleive I got swindled like this! You really want to trust people, and their word, especially when you're in a tough situation, and you believe theu are helping you. Once again, I've learned my lesson about trusting anyone out here. Sorry for long story, but I thought it was appropriate given the situation. People like this need to be put out of business

Rude customer service, was ready to buy a car to

Literally called to question about a car on the lot, as soon as i asked about any rust the dude insulted me saying "the xxxx you think" and proceeded to call me a toolbag. Pretty sure this guys trigger word is "rust" so be wary about any business with this dealership.
