Be careful and Inspect

Buyer be careful. Cars do not look anything like in pictures. Purchased ferrari ff and asked about dash. was told was in great shape. Torn and leather pulled back. Entire bottom panels missing. Other vehicles I seen there after flying in seem to not look like pictures. Dodge viper looks nothing like in online pictures. Riddled with chips in front and black gas cap appears to be painted black by a 2 year old. Check vehicles out. Out of state purchase not recommended

Rip off scammer Auto service/repair shop

Attention Warning:Luxury Auto works service at N Lamar Austin is not a reliable place to service your exotic cars, they are rip off scammers, they intentionally miss diagnose your car & still expensive parts from your car to cause more damage to your car for them to charge you thousands of dollars for fake repairs, safe yourself from stress & stay away from these criminal thieves they are unprofessional and untrustworthy people!!

Terrible

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I took my vehicle here due to the positive reviews but my experience was far from that and could be defined only as fraudulent and discriminatory. On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, I called the shop. I explained rodents chewed through the electrical in my engine. Brett said they could fix it. Then he asked me how much I expected the job to cost. I told him I didn’t know. He said well what did you budget for? I told him I did not have a budget as clearly this as an unforeseen expense. Then he continues to pressure to get a number from me and I tell him I don’t know. Continuing to pressure, he says give me your best guess in terms of what the cost would be. Again, I told him I didn’t know. Maybe between $2000-3000. He says if we can work within this, would you be okay. I told him to diagnose the vehicle so I could know the extent of the damage and we would go from there. He calls me later that afternoon between 1-2pm. Quotes me around $2000. Pretends he is doing me a favor with pulling discounts only managers are entitled to. The afternoon of Wednesday, November 30th, he tells me the vehicle is ready. I asked him what was the earliest they opened on Thursday as I would go before work to pick it up. Brett told me I had to get the vehicle that day and no exceptions would be made. I clearly wanted to check the work, but he wouldn’t allow it. Clearly, he was scamming me. Oh, and the price bumped up to over $3000 as he performed work which I never provided him permission to do. His response was “well you needed it.” It’s also funny / coincidental how now we are falling at the top of the range which was quoted. Let’s fast forward to Monday, December 5th, I went to the shop a little after 9am to resolve the issue. However, Brett became angry and told me I would have to pay even more to fix a problem he and his team created. I would say Brett looked at the vehicle for less than 10min. He discovered an air vent was improperly put back and thought that was the issue. It was not, and the humming persisted. If the team messed up putting in an air vent properly, I’m not surprised other things were messed up as well.

Good dealership, have their stuff together.

I've dealt with Cullen for the past few weeks regarding a vehicle they have for sale. Can't enough what a pro this guy is...would not hesitate to do business in future with him and dealership.

Please steer clear.

If I could give no stars I would. Please do not do business here. Our vehicle was badly damaged and parted out during the month they had our vehicle for hail damage repair. They outsourced our hail damage repair to a third party who has 1star reviews and had been in business for 5 months (unbeknownst to us) our car was returned with a dead battery, sub oar hail repair, stereo and Navigation dash gashed and next to the gear shifter, one of our TV's was broken out of its casing, sideview mirrors had touch ups and paint chips that were not there when we dropped the vehicle off, the tint on the drivers side was damaged the ceiling panel was dirty and scratched up, our blinker light cover was broken. The list goes on. My vehicle is a 2019 Gx 460 the type of damages that it incurred were reckless. When immediately brought it to their attention they directed us to the third party, then they agreed to fix the damages. After another month, Today, we had scheduled an appointment with the owner to see the vehicle, he did not show up nor did anyone contact us. They said he had a family emergency, we said no problem we will reschedule with him. Thats when all their demeanor changed they refused to reschedule us with the owner threatened to call the police if we used the loaner and it was clear that they decided they were done even if our vehicle wasn't completely and properly repaired. After deciding to go a different route to resolve this issue. My husband and I went back in to pick up the vehicle even though we knew it was not completed. They claimed we owed them way more money then I was aware of, and it was clear they didnt feel the need to hear why or explain that to us. They increased the amount due, would not allow us to speak with the owner, gave us bogus invoices, so after going back and forth we said fine we will just pay and leave, thats when they demanded it be paid in cash they refused to accept our card payment ( im not kidding I cant make this up) We had to call 911 and have APD out they were shocked at how ridiculous this was unfortunately they couldn't do anything. They made us go outside with the officer, accused us of trespassing and would not give us our still damaged vehicle even though we were willing to pay them their inflated quote. So guess what, we paid in cash to receive our vehicle back without it being completely fixed. This situation is still ongoing I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone, Please, please avoid this place they are not Luxury it is quite the opposite. Everyone that works there is involved too, its scary and sad to think how many people they have done this to, just read all the reviews about selling people lemons. Stay away trust me.

Avoid this dealer!

Beware of this store! Bought a Mercedes over the internet. Wanted to have the vehicle inspected by Mercedes but this store does not allow cars out to be inspected even if they were to deliver the car. They allow outside inspectors to evaluate cars there but I did not want someone not a Benz mechanic to look at. The 3rd party inspectors recommended by them would certainly be on their side for continued business. Tyler assured me this car was in excellent condition and went through all of their inspection process. I had the car shipped to me and when it arrived it had a broken windshield that someone had tried to repair, a spare tire that did not hold air, wheel locks with no key and only 1 ignition key. The key is $410 dollars and the windshield is $850. Tyler refuses to stand behind his business and has forced me to file a small claims case. The business looked like a quality place and I am very disappointed in them. Please be very skeptical in dealing with this store. This is where used car dealers get a bad reputation.

Excellent Experience working with Luxury Auto Work

One of the most pleasurable car buying experiences I have ever had. Very honest, polite and easy to work with. Purchased the car sight unseen and relied on Chris and Tyler to provide details over the phone. The car arrived exactly as described. I would definitely work with them again and highly recommend Luxury Auto Works. They are the real deal!

Excellent service and communication

Very happy with the whole process of buying a car from Luxury Autoworks! Perfect level of communication--attentive but not intrusive. They are totally customer-oriented and we didn't get lost like at a large dealership. The process was very smooth, the car was priced well, we were really happy with the trade-in offer, and we love our new car. Highly recommended.
