Wife was in need of a car they had a car in a lot 4995 cash only. They knew she was in bad space and needed the car bad and she didn't have the full amount to put down so I went my sister $2,500. So they took the money and said okay we'll make a deal we go back for the car the price tag says $5,500 now. I said what the xxxx happened it went up $5,000 oh we painted the hood. As knowing the business as good as I do they would have painted the hood anyway because they have everything on site they buy broken down garbage from auctions and fix them That's their business The family-owned business that smiles in your face and stabbed you in the back but anyway I bring up the question how come the call went up $5,000 he said we painted the hood I said you would have painted the hood anyway He's okay we'll bring it down to five. Meanwhile cuz she has a lousy credit to have beautiful cars on the lot for that money but because of her credit they took total advantage of her and anything she did I said listen you had it for 49.5 I wanted for 45 cash and they wouldn't do it. They said no it's 5,000 now. Unbelievable yeah family business really take care of your people in the neighborhood All these five-star ratings of people that actually probably bought nice cars that had to finance them but the people that are in desperate need of vehicles that don't have good credit they you know what in the butt and that's what they did with a 27% interest rate $200 a month for almost 3 years so the time she pays off that $2,500 loan you added up a $5,000 car is going to end up costing out 10 grand it's just unbelievable what they did to her and when I confront them they said this is between me and the customer I said well the customer is my wife ex-wife but wife anyway. And use a totally taken advantage of these people who don't have good credit and you know you're doing it and you tow her car away for one late payment shame shame shame

Lev and Amanda need a refresher course on doing right by their customers. They did some cosmetic work to the vehicle I purchased from them, but they obviously did nothing to make it a better running car. It actually needed an oil change right off the lot (less than 10% oil life left)! Wow, couldn't even change the oil? What do you guys have mechanics for anyway? After I purchased it, I brought it into my long term, reputable auto shop. The battery was weak and needed to be replaced ($190). The power steering switch was leaking ($165). The rear differential pinion seal was leaking ($270). The fuel filter needed to be replaced ($55). Additionally, they put newer looking tires on the vehicle. However, three of these tires were actually 7 years old, and one was nine years old, and my mechanic advised me against going on any kind of a long trip with these tires, although they looked okay. Then he had the audacity to argue what my mechanics found, saying that he could bring the car to 10 different mechanics and they'd all find something wrong with it. lol Listen...a vehicle is either leaking fluids or it's not! Obviously, and unfortunately, they took advantage of their customer. They have mechanics that could have easily fixed these issues, and I would have gladly paid extra for a car that didn't cost me money and a headache right off the lot. I told them I didn't want anything from them and that I'd just pay to fix the issues. He offered for his mechanics to put the car on their lift and check it out, but then backed out of that, which was fine...he already had his chance to do the right thing. I'm just glad I'm done dealing with them and the situation is behind me now. But I do hope that he wakes up and realizes that it's not that difficult to be a good guy, and that he doesn't have to take advantage of his customers who are simply coming to him in search of a car, just because he can. I hope and pray they'll turn themselves around, and stop being the type of used car sales people that we all hate running into. Best of luck in your search for a vehicle.

We have been dealing with Lewis Family Auto for years. Lev and Amanda are extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the used car business. They always have a nice selection of vehicles to choose from. They go above and beyond to make their customers happy. Not your typical buy here pay here lot. They will not buy junk to sell you just to make a dollar. For any negative reviews and I haven’t seen but one, you are buying a used car “as is”. Sometimes there are unfortunate circumstances where the car may need repairs. This is the downfall buying a used car from any lot. I highly recommend Lewis Family Auto and wouldn’t buy from anyone else.

I bought a Cadillac CTS there. I knew it had a couple of mechanical issues before I bought it, but I was in for a huge surprise. $5,000 in repairs brought the car up to minimal standards, but I later discovered exceptional wear and tear. A Cadillac mechanic told me the car had excessive mileage, and more wear than it should have had at 70,000 miles. It used an enormous amount of oil, and the transmission began to fail. I wound up scrapping the car. I bought an identical car from Cadillac, and the difference was night and day.

What a great experience. Lev and Amanda are super down to earth people who makes the whole car buying experience seemless.
