My wife and I were in the market for a car and had looked at the RAV4. We didn't like its styling and ride and the fact that it didn't come with leather seats. We liked the look of the CRV and decided to visit Carolina Direct Mocksville . We weren't accosted the second we walked on site; we were able to look around without being harassed. We walked into the office and Ray was at his desk. He was eating and we asked if he could answer some questions for us. Before we knew it, we were testdriving the CRV we ended up buying. He was very knowledgeable... Quite unlike the other salesperson in Lexington . The color was perfect, the interior was perfect, the ride was wonderful. He was very transparent about both the condition and value of each vehicle. He showed me the Car-Fax equivalent data, including ownership history, prior accidents (if any), title history, etc. His business practices debunk the stereo-type of a used car salesman. He truly had my best interest in mind, and helped to direct me to the best vehicle for my needs. Quality: The vehicles at Carolina Direct Auto Sales are hand-picked and each one is inspected before being placed on the lot. Value: Many of the vehicles are purchased at auction at wholesale prices, and Rey passes the savings on to the customer. I looked at other dealerships and Edmunds.Com to compare prices and found that the prices at Carolina Direct Auto Sales are, on average, several thousand dollars lower than the recommended retail or what is available at other dealerships. In addition to the already low prices, Rey worked with my budget constraints to get me into a higher quality vehicle that what I originally went to test drive. I drove away with a significantly nicer and newer vehicle than I ever anticipated I could afford on my budget! Stress-free: There were no high-pressure sales tactics at all. Rather, Rey let me look at each vehicle that I was interested in, and we had an honest conversation about the pros and cons of each. Once we?d agreed on a vehicle and price, Rey made the rest of the process as stress-free as possible, including driving me down to the local DMV to obtain my permanent tag. (I did not finance my purchase, so I can?t speak to that process.) I certainly recommend Carolina Direct Auto Sales for anyone in the greater-Charlotte/Huntersville area. Ray was attentive and listen to what we want and not what he wanted to sell. I just enjoyed working with him. He spent the time and listened to what we wanted and offered several options based on what we needed. We were there later in the evening around closing time and he stayed with us the entire time. I never got the feeling of being rushed. Plus, he is a nice guy, I like working with people that are nice
