I emailed about a pre-owned car. I didn’t agree on price. That was the end of it. I received more emails asking What can they do. I can tell them, I still can’t get what I asked for. Fine. Today I get an email today, from the Internet manager. We go back and forth emailing. He ask twice what can he do to earn my business. I tell him. He says can only come down a few hundred. He then states they don’t negotiate over the Internet or phone. I tell him I’m not driving two hours to Michigan City. Even though, I have family and friends there. My 74 yo mom went to Marquette. My grandma lived on Manhattan st over 50 years. My deceased twin brother is Buried there. He suggest me coming in. Then I tell him there is a pandemic. He then comes back to the best we can do is the Internet price. This means I would have driven there and got the same results. He also said he can’t come down over a thousand on any car. Which isn’t true. They already have. I was in the business. My offer is more then fair. This whole process has been horrible. I want my wrecked Lincoln back. My PTSD and anxiety are horrible now. Thanks. It’d been nice to buy a car back home.
Very unprofessional. Went in and test drove a couple of cars, was helped by a lady named Rachel. Left an email and voicemails, never called back. Left a voicemail with the Sales Manager as well, whoever that is never called back either.
Smooth, easy process. Our salesperson Milt was extremely courteous and professional. It was certainly a pleasure working with him. I would certainly recommend Castle to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle!
I brought my Escape in for "The Works" on Wednesday June 3, 2020 and upon doing the inspection it was noted of other service that was due and Mr. Robert Stachowksi personally called me and explained what it needed and the cost that it will be, He also did not try and push me into the extra work if I did not want it, so I let them do all the work and had a promised finish time of 5pm that day and when they got into it they found out they didn't have a part needed to complete the job that day and then Robert Stachowski took it upon himself to make sure that he got the parts that afternoon and made sure the job was finished on time. Mr. Stachowski also took me home while the car was in for service and when it was finished he called to pick me up when it was finished. All I can say is that this was my best experience I have had with this dealer, I am glad to see you have such a wonderful person working for you and if all your staff is like Mr. Stachowski you will have good reviews all the time, Thank you Mr. Robert Stachowski for your professional service.
I bought a used Ford Explorer from the dealership. My salesman was nice and very accommodating. When making the deal for finance options my credit was ran and I was produced one offer from a bank for the amount I wanted to finance and an interest rate. I asked to see the bank call sheet and was given push back on my request. Eventually after polity demanding I see the bank call sheet it was provided to me. On the bank call sheet was multiple institutions that wanted to finance my loan but yet the dealership only showed me the bank with a higher interest rate. I asked why I was not presented with the lower interest rate and reply was shocking “We cannot give you that rate as the vehicle is too low priced already and they had to make something off the deal”. I was completely appalled as they were intentionally scamming me on the finance end! I was going to walk away but ultimately the vehicle was exactly what I wanted with price and mileage so I purchased the vehicle anyway and just refinanced the loan for a better rate later, crooks. My favorite part of this long story is that they issued me a temporary plate for my vehicle until the new one came in the mail. The new permanent plate was never received. Multiple times I called and requested the plate as mine was about to expire. Ultimately the plate never came and on the day my temporary expired I called for about the 15th time. I was instructed that I could go down to Secretary of State/DMV and transfer an old plate I still had to this vehicle and send them the invoice and the dealership would reimburse me. Needless to say months later I still have received my reimbursement! Moral of the story, beware of this dealership as they are not honest. They have stolen money from me and waisted hours/days of my time. Do not let them do the same to you!
Spoke with an associate at Castle Ford. He asked if I’d prefer texting over communicating via phone. I said yes bc I rarely am able to answer my phone right away. He was very helpful in letting me know exactly what I would need in order to get a used car and make payments. He was very polite but not too pushy like some sales associates are.
They lied to get me out ther
They lied and said there was no issues with the car and no lights on. I get there a couple hours later and there is a check engine light on and they try to say it’s not their fault they lied.
Positive reviews are made up
Bad experience ..left lied to and frustrated . don't be hasty to shop here based on all the good reviews I honestly believe most of them are made up..I delt with Patrick.. hope this helps
Blake was awesome to work with! Everyone was nice and friendly. We test drove the car and purchased the same day. Pretty easy process. Definitely would deal with them again! I absolutely love my new car!! Thanks Castle Michigan City :)
Awful Awful Awful
I bought a car on Thursday, by Saturday the muffler had to be repaired when the mechanic finished he showed me a lot of rust in wheel well and asked if I could return the car and if I could to do so. I contacted the dealership the next business day and they offered no solutions. Do not but from this dealership and especially not Trace he did not disclose any defects in the vehicle.
