Thanks for the great car and the great service. You were friendly helpful and not pushy. I really appreciate it. I love the car and am so glad I came... out. Thanks again for everything.
I had a very relaxing no pressure experience. I got to inspect and test drive the car on my own. I was able to work out a deal that I was satisfied with... and left there with a car in an hour. Overall an excellent experience and would definitely buy another vehicle from Northway again.
The engine was shot 3 months in and they did nothing to help. They put the blame on me for not getting the warranty. Would not recommend
My father purchased a Toyota Highlander back in August 2019 at the Lake Hopatcong location. He stated that Donna S. was very professional and felt the... process was very quick and was given a great price on the vehicle. Turns out my car broke down recently and I bought a Mazda 3 at the Wantage location after a recommendation from my father. Danielle L. took care of the purchase in which she was very professional and knowledgeable. I was very happy with the care and service and would recommend Northway Automotive Group to another family member or friend.
So easy to work with. I LOVE that the staff just let us browse without constantly asking if we need help because that drives me crazy, and I usually end... up walking away and not coming back. Danielle was so polite from the first phone conversation to the end of car purchase and made us feel so comfortable. Amanda was also such a delight and so amazing. I was so emotional and stressed about car shopping because we really weren't in the market for a vehicle just yet (unfortunately my husband was rear ended and the car was totaled) but they both put me at ease. We drove an hour to get the there and I really have to say it was so worth it! I will be definitely going there for my vehicles in the future. Thank you guys so much for everything.
We recently came here to buy a used car and overall the experience was great. I definitely didnt leave the dealership feeling like my wallet was taken... for a ride. I will say however, that there were a few things i would do differently in the future based on the experience of buying a car here. First and foremost, i want to stress that if i find myself needing another car in the future and they have the model or type of car i am looking for, the choice to be a return customer is easy. With that said, i do feel that we ended up overpaying $300 - $400 on the car than we should have. But then again, better $300 than $3000. I personally did not have a look at the car because i had a broken foot and was relying on my husband to relay information regarding his experience with the test drive. Which he did not do well. So after we bought the car, i was disappointed to discover minor issues that werent mentioned even once at the bargaining table. Lesson learned, next time bring a pen and paper to make meticulous notes to counter feeling overwhelmed at negotiating. The issues with the car that i found were all minor and are as follows: 1. They were adamant about charging a $195 interior and exterior detailing fee, however when i finally saw the car, it was clear the exterior hadnt been cleaned in a while as there were spider webs and cobwebs outside and the car was just generally dirty on the outside. 2. The right turn signal is broken and will have to be replaced. 3. The radio doesnt turn on and will have to be repaired (hopefully not replaced) 4. The horn sounds weird as if it too is on the way out. 5. The cupholder insert is missing. 6. The left side view mirror was cracked and glued together (this will have to be replaced) 7. Floor mats were all missing. 8. Front tires are very worn and will have to be replaced. 9. Fabric on driver seat is broken at the seams. (I'm not even sure how to go about that) Altogether i felt we should have paid about $300 less given the amount of money we will have to put into the car to fix it. But i can only blame myself for lacking this information and being unable to physically inspect the car myself. With all the negatives out of the way, i wanna take a moment to discuss the positives. Initially the car would not turn on because of what turned out to be a dead battery. When they jumped the battery and got the car running the check engine light came on during the test drive. To address these concerns, they took the car to a mechanic and had him replace the battery and run a diagnostic on the computer board/sensors. While i would have liked my husband to tag along to that exchange, thats neither here nor there. The main reason i highly recommend this dealer is because as i stated, my foot was broken and i was more or less stuck inside the dealership waiting for my husband. While there i had the opportunity to see what kind of business these people run and i have to say i was impressed. I was inside waiting for 2 to 3 hours while my husband tested various cars and i was blown away by the way they treat all of their customers. Every single employee that i saw interacting with customers carried themselves in a way that emphasized treating customers with dignity, respect and open communication. I saw them deal with people seeking financing, answering calls from prospective buyers, and closing deals with others. What impressed me the most was the attempt to work with customers as opposed to attempting to decieve them for a quick buck. To me, the level of care and attention they place as salesmen is enough to cancel out any issues i felt about everything else related to the car. Anecdotally we always hear about what terrible people car dealers are at the expense of unsuspecting customers, but this was absolutely not the case at northway auto. With that said, i would absolutely recommend them to a friend or family member. Hope this review is helpful to someone sorry for the length!
We were running late and got there just before they were supposed to close. We feared that we would be out of luck, but Abe was willing to stay in order... to make sure I could look at the vehicles I was interested in. I ended up buying what’s probably the perfect car for me and it was at a great value too. Two thumbs up.
Abe was great.. Thank you for putting my husband in the right car!!! We love subaru’s and you had the right car to pick especially for him!!!
The best car buying experience I have ever had. Abe was knowledgable. Understanding, patient, honest, trustworthy. I would highly recommend him. I know... where I am buying my next car
Very easy process and car was well priced. The dealer was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions thoroughly. I would definitely recommend them... to friends.
