Update!

Update! Thank you Brian! Brian the GM had to get involved to determine a solution to my mechanical issues and this 5 star rating is completely dedicated to him. I appreciate his professionalism, efficiency, & especially his sense of humor when I was beyond aggravated. He was very personable & literally checked in with me everyday until I had my jeep back on the road! My critique, it would have been wonderful if I was compensated for the $3,400 labor fees that I paid for & the jeep wasn’t fixed & wouldn’t change gears. Nevertheless, I am thrilled Brian was my advocate, he truly went above & beyond to help me!

Service Dept: left my jeep on 4/22 to have my breaks

Service Dept: left my jeep on 4/22 to have my breaks serviced for the 3rd time in 3 years still no ABS module available & to have the timing belt set… Brett Skeens said “it is changing gears” after I explained my jeep isn’t changing gears & was dangerous to drive! My jeep had no transmission issues until after it was serviced by them on 4/22/25; $5000 later $3400+ labor fees to make my jeep worse! It now struggles to start, it no longer shifts gears, all the lights come on including flashing engine light … took them 1 month to NOT return my calls. I kept calling every week. Spoke to AP very pleasant but I couldn’t get there by 4:30 & the following morning the jeep would no longer crank! Then spoke to Jack who said Montana would call to schedule a pick up time for my jeep to be towed, never happened. I called back talked to Montana she said that she had no idea I was waiting on her call for over two weeks. Montana stated she would call me the following Mon with details for towing… she never called. I called back Monday afternoon, Belle (not sure) told her what was going on & finally Josh the guy from the towing company contacted me four times just in the process of towing the jeep (he obviously doesn’t work there) However, when he dropped off the jeep they literally asked him “what’s wrong with it?” Are you kidding me?Finally, Brett called me back again Fri to tell me, the Jeep isn’t shifting gears! Really? I stated that a month ago, BUT he now insists that the ABS module that has been broke for three years is the reason my gears in an automatic are not shifting… though they have been shifting for the three years it has been broke? But I have also been told that it didn’t matter I don’t have a functioning ABS system. He told me to buy an ABS system from a junk yard, pay someone other than Jeep Service dept to rebuild it and it May or May not work but THEY can’t guarantee or fix my Jeep! It’s only 10 years old with less than 125,000 miles! I’m at my whits end what is going on with this service department? Suggestions? I mean Jeeps have been in my family for years… they last forever OR they are supposed too!

BUYER BEWARE:Purchased 2010 Dodge ram 1500 pick up in Jan

BUYER BEWARE:Purchased 2010 Dodge ram 1500 pick up in Jan 24 for $15,000 and a trade in. Approximately Oct 24, took to tuffy auto repair in Gulf breeze for what was supposed to be a simple fix , left there with truck running worse than when I brought it there, next day I took the truck to tuffy in Mary Esther, technician there said it needed to go to the dealership where they would have better diagnostic equipment. Within a few days CDJ Fort Walton bch. Said the motor had expired. Purchased a remanufactured engine for approximately $14,000. Feb 2025 that engine expired under warranty, they tried to "fix" something on the engine and run into more complications supposedly and now it's just useless conversations on the phone with staff at the service center. Now I've got $29,000, a trade in, Approximately $6,000 in rental car expenses and numerous other debts which have occurred because of this. All for a 2010 Dodge ram pickup that just sits in there parking lot. All I get from staff is " I know", "I'm sorry", and " I apologize". BUYER BEWARE.

Mike Priest, my salesman, was honest, fair, and caring during my purchase of a 2019 Used Highlander. The entire management staff was fantastic, and I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with Mike in the future. Great experience!

We brought in our jeep to have the stereo upgraded with a factory stereo we obtained that allows use of Bluetooth in lieu of the system the jeep originally came with that does not. We spoke on the phone with an employee to ensure the process would be a success. I took off work to bring the jeep in and sat for hours after paying $275, the stereo system did not work. My husband alerted the manager via phone after weeks of trying to get in touch with a manager, only to find out they would not reimburse us nor fix the issue. This place is terrible managed and we would not recommend doing any business with them.

Bought a brand new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sport S and had a great sales experience. After that it all fell apart. Immediately noticed a leak in my passenger front door during rain. Notified my salesman Austin Gaines who said he would get me scheduled. Never heard from him again and had to schedule myself. From there is was dropped off in services where is sat for a week without even being looked at. Needed my vehicle back and when I came to pick it up I asked to talk to any manager who was free and was told all were busy. Waited for one for the next 30 minutes before I left. You’ll have faster service if you drive it straight into the ocean and have insurance get you a new one

I went and looked at a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax

I went and looked at a 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax diesel back at the beginning of May. The service department told me that there was a low oil pressure issue and that it was just a sensor. They replaced the oil sensor and I came to test drive the truck again and the low oil pressure warning still populated. The service department then replaced the oil pump. I came again on June 8th, 2024 and test drove the truck and the warning didn’t populate for the short time I drove it. I purchased the vehicle and drove it home about an hour with no issues. The next day the oil pressure light came on again. I returned the truck for them to fix the issue. The problem turned out to be the harness from the oil pump to the ECM. They replaced the part and the truck runs great. About a month later I noticed oil in the driveway and what looks to be a chunk taken out of the transmission housing where it connects to the fly wheel. They had to drop the transmission to replace the oil pump. I went under the truck and noticed the lower and upper oil pan was leaking. Also, the harness they “replaced” was heinous… the routing was awful… the wires were exposed and had zero shielding on them. If I had to guess, the issue will probably come back due to the possibility of wire chaffing from vibration. When I asked for the paperwork from the work done, I was constantly ignored and I can see exactly why. I decided to go a different route and I drove the truck to Step One GMC in Pensacola, Florida for them to tell me that step one Chrysler ordered the oil pump from AMAZON…. They didn’t even replace the oil pump with an OEM pump. This is something unacceptable by a DEALERSHIP. I trust that this dealer will do their work the right way. ALSO, when I received a rental from the dealer when they were replacing the oil pump, they put me in a Jeep renegade. Come on people…. I had an awesome experience with my salesman and woman, Roger and Chelsea. Also the finance manager, Johnathon, was amazing as well. They’re the only ones that kept me sane during this time of frustration. The sales department is spot on but the service is awful and they seem to shotgun parts, cut corners, and use parts from Amazon. If you’re looking to take your vehicle in for service, or anything else… I recommend you run far away and go somewhere else. I hope this review reaches the highest level of management and to people that think they’re doing their vehicle a service by taking it to Step One Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Drove two hours to go look at a jeep Wrangler.

Drove two hours to go look at a jeep Wrangler. Salesman wanted me to sit inside to work out deal and I stated that we could work one out without doing the back-and-forth. He asked what we wanted and I told him three things He then stated he was too stupid to remember those three things and that we needed to go sit at the table and write it down I told him to go in and get a price from his manager and come back out and tell me what they discussed. After 20 minutes and two text messages that were never responded to, We left to go buy some new sunglasses and I text him that I would be back. When we returned, my husband walked in and the manager who he had previously met and two other salesman just stared at him We ended up leaving and never heard a word. We were serious about buying a car Whether it be cash or finance (We were going to do what would give us the better deal) and were completely dismissed. The salesman never even texted back to say hey we can’t work out a deal (which we were only asking 3000 off the listed price) or we can’t change out the tires for you (We asked them to take off Falcon mud terrain tires for BF Goodrich KO2). The car was meant for my daughter who is 15 We were never rude and we never represented ourselves, Completely unprofessional. Looks like I’m not the only one who is giving them a low review.
