Good service

Got a great deal on a rare hellcat model Top shelf customer service Brad Bolich handled the whole 5 month buying process expertly Couldn’t be happier


Never again

I called a week in advance to schedule a simple oil change/service a replacement key (which I was told was in stock) and a PA state inspection with the understanding that it would be dropped off Sunday evening and the service would be done Monday. At 10:30 AM Monday I received a call from the service manager to confirm a pre-existing scratch in the rear bumper. I received no other communications. We arrived at 5:30 PM and were greeted with a curt "Did someone call and tell you it was ready?" The jeep was still on a lift with no one any where near it. I was told that 3 people didn't show up and the key just arrived from UPS. I guess that was the key that was (in stock?). The service manager had no empathy that my wife had to drive a 3500 dually V10 to work @ $5.49 a gallon for gas. We finally picked it up Tuesday evening after it cost another $78 in fuel for my wife to get to work. The service manager made a big deal of waving the labor charge on the oil change. He even had the nerve to ask for a good review. We are die hard Jeep/Ram owners. Over 5 decades we have bought from multiple dealers in York and Lancaster county's. This was our first from Thornton, (only because we needed a Jeep right away and they had the right color in stock) and it will be the last we buy from them, or have serviced there. It only takes 4 extra minutes to get to Providence and everything there is always done on time.

Warranty/service work

Warranty work was needed on my vehicle. My dash pad needed replaced. I initially took my Jeep in to show them the dash bubbles and they took pictures, had to go back in because they needed clearer pictures, then had to come back a 3rd time because again the pictures they took weren't good enough. They finally ordered my dash pad and it took over a year to get it in. I then received a call that the incorrect dash color came in and was literally advised they didn't know if they could order the right one. Fast forward they ordered and got the correct pad in almost another 6 months later. I was called to bring in my jeep and unfortunately I was in the hospital near death, they did say they could wait for me to be better to bring it in, but then called about 2 weeks later and said if we didn't schedule it they would send it back. So after waiting close to 2 years to get my part I was then forced to rush to bring it in asap or they would send it back. The service department there has not this time and other times in the past done a very good job. Hopefully it better in the future. I still like this dealership to purchase vehicles, just very leary of the service department
