Buyer Beware
BUYER BEWARE. I purchased a used 2019 Journey July, 2020. Within 2 weeks, my check engine light came on. When I tried to get an appointment, I was told an internal advisor needed to call me because the problem occurred "within 30 days" of purchase. I waited until the end of the week, and no one called. I emailed Adam Clinkenbeard, the Asst. General Manager. He told me to take it in the following Monday. In the meantime, my engine light went off, but my husband noticed a leak on the right underside. About two hours after I took vehicle in, I was called to be told nothing was leaking but air-conditioning evaporation. I took my husband with me when I went back to the dealer and we had the car put on the rack. I showed the mechanics pictures of the leaked fluid, but when we looked, we couldn't see anything dripping. My husband then found some fluid leaking around the right front wheel, close to where the drips were found on our garage floor. I asked them if they would check that out. When I emailed the service rep. two days later, I was informed that since the car was "within 30 days" of purchase, it was referred to Rodney Case, an internal advisor. Here goes a loop. I never heard from Mr. Case. I again emailed Adam Clinkenbeard, and he told me he would check into it. I waited two more days, but never heard back from him, either. So I sent Mr. Clinkenbeard an email advising him that since I hadn't heard from anyone, I was picking up my car and taking my business elsewhere. I'd cc:d Jared Glover, too. Guess what? Never heard back from either of them. So I'm going to take my business elsewhere.

This dealership has lost a customer due to the lack of service and response to my new Dodge. It started the first month, transmissions issues, took it to the dealer, late July, scheduled a maintenance time for Aug 6, Have not seen it since, we call the service department and always get someone will call back, has not happened. I go in every week, first 2 weeks not looked at, third week in diagnostics, I asked they call with updates and nothing, will have to go back up there and raise some noise. I was looking at a new Jeep, but this has made me to start looking at the new Bronco's. As far as referring Jim Glover to anybody, well you know what I will say.
