Nice sales person, HORRIBLE car
I bought a car in March 2021 from DriveTime. I was pleased to get approved and had an issue finding a car I liked on the lot but was offered a 2014 Jetta. At first glance it was great. After a few days of having it home, it started to literally fall apart. The cup holder inside literally came apart. Paint on the outside of the car was chipping and showing rust. Now it’s having serious mechanical issues. I’m going through SilverRock and I’m so upset the car is even broken already. I’ve barely driven it. I am beyond disappointed.
I was sold a vehicle 3/30/2019 and since that time I have had nothing but issues. I have been bounced around from DriveTime to SilverRock to the DarCar Kia in Temple Hills MD with no assistance. I have not had my vehicle more than 90 days and the problems have not stopped. My first issues with the vehicle being 4/19 , 4/23,4/29 and most recently being 6/7. This is just plain ridiculous and no one can seem to let me know what the issue is. I am to the point where i don't even want the vehicle anymore and am exploring other options. No one has tried to make the this right especially Drive Time. I don't want any useless apologies because your apologies are not going to fix my vehicle or make up for the fact that you sold me a piece of junk. The sales person said from her own mouth that she did not inspect her vehicles as she should. I am beyond livid at this point. I was recommended to this place and I feel like i made the biggest mistake of my life.
Bait and switch was the experience. Your phone representative did nothing but mis-represent your company just to get us in the door. After dozens of phone calls, and wasting time and gas to get there, everything that was discussed and assured was the opposit result. A a bunch of lies. Please remove my name and phone numbers from your contact list.
Terri Anistead was a warm, professional and wonderful salesman. I was impressed with the no mess no fuss flow of the overall process. I was able to say what I want to put down, what price range I want to stay in. Terri followed my ques and not the other way around. What a pleasure. I had a family member go through drive time and I was not sure if it was a good choice. I can see why they picked Drive Time. Thumbs up!
