Brandon R the serivce advisor was very nice and explained things in detail and he and his team are following what corporate told them to do. Unfortunately its now been in the shop twice and its still jerking from a stop and doesnt back up smoothly up an incline. I did get a 2022 lower trim level kona for a loaner when they worked on my kona and the loaner was perfect. I was even able to over accelerate from a stop in all 3 mode with zero jerking and backing up in my garage (up an incline) was very smooth (no hesitation or quirky jerkiness). Now I'm told I have to drive 1,000 miles before they can look at the next steps at this rate my 10 year 100,000 warranty will be over in only a few months of seeing what the next steps are. I'm pretty frustrated as I typically only drive 50 miles a week. I dont think its right to make a customer painfully drive a car for 4 to 5 months to see what happens. I think I actually got a lemon but its no fault of the people that work at Boucher. I guess on the bright side, in Wisconsin they have a lemon law so I might need to invoke that and either get my money back (which i dont want to do - as I truly love the Kona 2022. Its really a fun/perfect size car for me) or get a replacement new white 2022 kona limited.
