NO NO NO!

on Friday April 21st I had made a offer to Auto Selection via their website for a 2018 Dodge Durango, I got an email and phone call from Kyle, the same day. saying they wouldn't let a sale of a vehicle slip away for a couple hundred dollars lost. I think it was maybe $700 lower than asking price. I can't remember the actual numbers since its been weeks ago and a lot has went on. but, I scheduled a test drive and look around of the 2018 Durango on the following day, Saturday April 22nd for 3:30. Planned it, got off work around 2. picked my wife and child up at home we headed there. we were almost 15 minutes out and Kyle called me and said man, I don't want you to waste your time driving down here. The owner said we could only take $100 off the car. But, I was literally 15 minutes away. So, I was basically already there to see the vehicle as this car was located a hour away from me. We looked. My wife loved it. We went to the bank and got a cashiers check for the almost $25k asking price with their crazy dealer fee. Kyle was kind of weird about the cashiers check to say the least wanted me to call him while at the bank like I didn't have the money or I was going to give him a fake cashiers check. My bank thought it was really really weird. but anyway I called him like he had asked. The lady at the bank explained everything was good to go. he wanted the numbers from the Cashiers Check right then. My bank didn't wanna give it, as she didn't have it printed yet or anything. We ended the call and I returned to the dealership with the cashiers check plus showed Kyle on my phone that the almost $25,000 was taken from my account. NO SCAM HERE! so we signed all the paperwork. The Durango did come with a basic 4000 miles or 90 day warranty that covered major parts of the car. I thought that was cool. This vehicle had only 80k and some miles on it and 1 Owner, Plus nice they offered it free of charge. so that was nice. During the signing process Kyle did offer a extended warranty for the Durango, that we pay for. NEVER explained what it would cover or anything didn't encourage us or pressure us to buy it at all. We left the dealership we was Happy. 5 DAYS!!!!!! later the check engine light come on for a low pressure leak for EVAP. I texted Kyle he said it was probably the Gas Cap. Anybody that knows Vehicles KNOWS that most of these newer Dodge, Chrysler Products don't have Gas Caps, Plus I knew it wasn't that. He basically blew it off. The following Monday I had my mechanic take a look. One of the hoses to the Durango was ROTTEN and needed to be replaced/fixed, costing us a additional almost $150. I had texted Kyle back on April 27th letting him know that I was taking the car to my mechanic and mail my title to me. The "OWNER" replied back to me. We argued for HOURS ON IN about him mailing my title paperwork, and how I BELIEVE they knew it had issues and had the mechanic turn the check engine off so they didn't have to fork the money out for the repair themselves. the "OWNER" of this business is very unprofessional and don't expect him to help you in anyway. He won't and will try to turn the tables back to you! I know the business will reply back to this saying like they did in the text message I was "encouraged" to purchase an extended warranty! sir you need to look up the meaning of Encouraged. Because, SUCH THING DIDN'T HAPPEN!!!! We had to drive another hour there and back to pick my title paperwork up because, this Dealer got in THEIR feelings about me having an attitude about buying a vehicle and it having issues. I could understand if it was something that wasn't rotten. But, Things just don't rotten 5 days after buying a car. Don't reply either saying I'm lying about anything I WILL drop all Screenshots of Conversation for the public to read for themselves.I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!!! STAY CLEAR!!!

Overall good experience with a finishing hickup

Joey and Kyle were great, very friendly and communicative. I text with Joey the day before and decided to come in -- I bought a Mercedes Benz GL and it was waiting right in front all cleaned up and was beautiful. They are priced fairly competitively so not a lot of room to haggle if that's your game, although they did some. The whole experience was fairly easy and pleasant. My only knock was when the deal was done they offered to get gas for my tank as it was very low. Joey took the truck as I waited, and when i got on 77 to head home noticed there was a hair less then a 1/4 tank of gas. When I reached out about it Joey stated all they can add is $15 worth and since it was PREMIUM gas, it wasnt much. Now after dropping $30,000 on a vehicle and you offered to get gas the expectation is surely not less than 1/4 of a tank. Little things like that leave a lasting impression on people as that was the last impression and interaction after a fairly easy deal and process. Just left a bad taste in my mouth and sadly took away from a 5 star experience. I gave you $30,000 and you could only muster $15 in gas that YOU offered to put in. I have bought a few cars in my time and that is ALWAYS a full tank when offered and leave the lot. PREMIUM or not.

Very good experience

Andres and Kaz were both a pleasure to deal with. My wife and I have purchased many cars over the years and found Auto Selection of Lake Norman to be one of our best car buying experiences. We drove 2 hours to get to the dealership from South Carolina. We were ready ready for the "dance" you have to do at most dealerships but we were pleasantly surprised when our terms were met without very much negotiation at all. We did have a slight "hiccup" after we arrived home; but Kaz and I discussed it and he promptly provided a solution. We are very pleased with our purchase and would highly recommend Auto Selection of Lake Norman to anyone looking for new car. Kevin & Lisa
