Stay away from Vroom

I bought a car from Vroom 6 months ago and still have not received my Registration or Plates. I have waited online for over 20 hours multiple calls multiple emails and still do not have my plates or registration. At this point I did contact the Better business bureau and the Texas DMV. The Texas DMV has filed a complaint against them and told me to get a lawyer. Please do not buy a car from Vroom

Stay away from Vroom

I bought a car from Vroom 6 months ago and still have not received my Registration or Plates. Very Frustrating...poor communication

About 2 weeks ago I had decided on a car from Vroom. I was happy with the trade value that they offered. I made a $500 deposit to hold the car. I decided to finance through them as well. The salesperson found me a great rate and term. The salesperson even got me a great deal on the GAP insurance that I had requested. This is where it all changed. I was waiting for my paperwork from the bank for 2 days, so I decided to call Vroom/my salesperson to find out what the delay was. He said he was waiting for a final approval for the car. At this point my credit had already been pulled and I had a term and rate all set. I did not hear back from him as promised by end of day. The next day I called back. My salesperson did not answer when I called him directly. I waited for the next available person. The next person told me that they could not sell me the car. I asked why. She responded by saying there are certain cars that they could not sell to me because of the state I lived in. What? She explained that there are different rules in my state that did not allow me to purchase this particular car. My response was you know what state I live in...why would you agree to buy my car, take a deposit from me to hold the car, run my credit to 4 different banks, get an approval, then...delay, delay, delay because your company made a mistake??? The original salesperson had completely disappeared. Wouldn't you have a list of cars that you could not sell in certain states before you started the whole process??? It was a complete waste of my time. I was issued a refund for my deposit in the end. It is unfortunate that this is what my experience was with them. I would not recommend that you deal with them. It looks like they are still trying to figure out how to sell cars properly online.
