my first review on cars.com and first of all location of the dealership is horrible...looks like chop shop hub. Car condition was NO WHERE near what shown on picture, car didn't start, interior condition wasnt what was described. Car is old I get it, then owner was like "yah we can 20k for it if we fixed it up but we dont have time for it" I am like okay...like what era did I just walked into...felt like those shady dealers you have seen in movies and infomercial. I wouldn't even trust giving them a copy of my driver license...I guarantee I will get a notification for identity theft. AVOID the dealership

Very shady dealer

Damas auto tried to sell me a car the pre-sale inspection mechanic said “might be a flood car” (I have the signed inspection report). After I told Damas what the mechanic said, they didn’t remove the listing, but instead just lowered the price.

Dealer response

Hi Ally, We do not have any of our car with Flood Damage & this is serious issue, which will not pass over. We ask you to send us a proof of this issue, otherwise we have different reaction, & you will be fully responsible for this claim & damage may affect our business. Carfax of the car guarantee that it is not Flood Damage car, beside the car has VA inspection & in photo Gallery there are two photos for the car undercarriage & any beginners in Mechanic will see no Damage on the underneath & Any person who deal with Toyota FJ Cruiser will know that this one has minimum rust. Therefore we ask you kindly either to support your claim with evidence or to retract it. We are 100% sure that the mechanic will not dare to issue such a formal statement, as we know the car very well. Finally you are not the person who test drive the car at that date, as your ally name is not in our record.

Ripped off at Damas

Zero stars. Very poor treatment I received at Damas Auto/Chantilly as a purchaser. They obviously care very little for the customer and are more concerned with trying to earn a buck. See more at,  https://tinyurl.Com/ewhdua3m  . Turns out that this vehicle had a prior report of damaged transmission (at cost of  $5,000 Dlrs to fix) and the Dealer failed to notify the buyer of this important fact.

Good service

They were very helpful and responsive. I brought a few issues of concern to them before and after the sale and they agreed to help remedy the issues to my satisfaction. They also did the work quickly and provided good communications along the way.

Great service!

Damas Auto provided great service as my boyfriend and I shopped for our first car together! They made sure we got a great deal and took care of us through the whole process. We could tell through the whole process that their #1 priority was for us to walk away satisfied. I highly recommend Damas Auto!

Great service!

I had a great experience with this dealer. Even though they were busy they never left me waiting and went out of there way to make it a speedy deal. Visited on a Friday, gave a down payment to hold the car and did the paperwork. Came back on Saturday and about a half hour I was driving away with my car!! These two guys went over and beyond!! Definitely recommend checking them out.

Excelente after service

After sales care is quick. I was impressed by their response when my car needed for some minor fixing. Pricing also good and sales team is kind.

they do not tell you what problems are with the car and sell as is, even car fax was not given enough information to say how bad the cars are

Don’t trust them.

It clearly states on their website they do in-house financing. I had contacted them about a vehicle and filled out an application to later be informed they in fact, do not to financing. So they have all my information. I just don’t trust this business. The person was not very professional when I called to speak to them. Go somewhere else.

Revise my previous review on 2009 VW EOS

I'd like to revise my previous review of the dealership. I bought a beautiful 2009 VW EOS from them. I experienced some issues with the hard top convertible functioning correctly - it got stuck in the down postion - I took it to an independent German Auto Repair shop and they diagonosed and fixed the problem relatively cheaply. The VW dealership I orginally took the EOS to wanted $600 just to diagonose the problem with a warning that it would probably cost over $2k to fix ... I was super disappointed. That is when I wrote the orginal review. I looked elsewhere to get it fixed. The independent shop went through the car and inspected everything and they told me the car was in excellent shape ... the problem with the top is fairly common in the EOS the wires stretch and crack over the years and cause the sensors to get faulty error codes. The mechanic told me not to open and close the top frequently(should leave it in postion for at least 15 minutes before making it go up or down) ... the hydraulic pumps get hot and cause the wires to fail. I know my wife loved showing the top going up and down to her family and friends because it is so cool - like a transformer car. So the fault was mine not the dealership and I apologize to them. The dealership was fair and honest the car looked and performed like a new car. The car is 9 years old you need to expect some issues. I am happy now and I recommend this dealership to you. I have had several discussions with them and they have been very helpful. They did their homework on this car and I happy with it.
