The service department was excellent.

The service department was excellent. Pulled in the covered area and out of the weather. The service manager, Josh, had an iPad and all my information already. Took some pictures of my truck and walked me to his office. Explained all the processes and told me how the pricing worked. I had a warranty from a third party and he explained the deductible. Told him we had family coming into town and would need my truck back by Friday. He was upfront about time it would take and I left the truck with him on Monday. I can't have my phone at work, so Josh texted me the details and approvals from warranty company by Wednesday. He also informed me they found more issues than just what I noticed and he got the approval to fix them as well. He gave me an updated time to completion and texted me as soon as the work was finished on Thursday. Went and picked the truck up that evening. Josh greeted me as I walked in, explained all the services completed and walked me over to the cashier so I could pay my deductible and he wane to pull my truck around. Checked out the work and couldn't be happier with Josh and the tech, Jeffery Scott, who did the work. Great experience and will certainly take my truck back to Fort Walton Cadillac for next service.

Sold a certified pre owned Cadillac to us and

Sold a certified pre owned Cadillac to us and specifically said drivetrain was covered for one year because it was pre-certified. It had 85,000 miles on it. Less than 90 days and the rear differential clutch pump goes out. That is part of the drive train and they would not honor it. It wouldn’t bother me so bad if that had not been one of their selling points. Liars the whole lot of them. Anything to get the sale. Will never do business there again.

That is absolutely not what was told to me at the time of sale. I was told SPECIFICALLY it was certified pre-owned and was covered for one year on the drive train. It was a selling point that the salesman repeated multiple times. It’s really not about the money to repair the car. It’s about being lied to and then receiving very sub-par service within LESS THAN 90 days of purchase!!

If anyone is contemplating buying a used car from this dealership it needs to be known they do not stand behind their words or their vehicles. I feel pretty confident that this was a known issue and put out on the lot to be sold anyway. I’ve bought many vehicles in my lifetime and never purchased one that was “inspected” by a competent service center and have such issues in such a short amount of time. I run a business and I would have at least offered to repair it at cost, even though, it should have been covered per the salesman, but these guys wanted nothing more than to PROFIT off of it again with absolutely no regard for the customer. These kinds of transactions with the public shows what kind of customer service you can expect from people who really don’t give a xxxx about customer service to begin with. AGAIN LIARS JUST TO MAKE A SALE!

Liars!!! Terrible Service!!!!

Was sold a certified pre-owned Cadillac with 85,000 miles on it. I was told specifically that covered the drive train for one year and that was pretty standard since it was certified. Less than 90 days in and the rear differential clutch pump goes bad. I carry it to them since this is part of the drive train and they quote me $3200 to repair it. They point blank lied and refused to honor it or even help in any meaningful way with the repair. Anything would have helped my feelings at that point. Terrible service and a don’t give a xxxx about you attitude.

Your scheduling system is not very customer friendly I

Your scheduling system is not very customer friendly I got a coupon yesterday for a 20% credit on my next service and it was supposedly good for 30 days. I attempted to schedule an appointment for next Sat (!-11) at 11:30, that was impossible. So I tried to schedule for the following week and the system didn’t allow this. Somebody should tell the service manager that his system is poorly designed. Dan

It's bad when the dealership can't fix their own vehicles

It's bad when the dealership can't fix their own vehicles without trying to upsale then get mad and tell you to come get your vehicle because you won't buy their part. According to the service paperwork didn't do as asked . We knew the ecm wasn't sending signals so brought it in to see if it was programmed right and of course they didn't check the programming liked asked to. plus guess price went up real bad last time i was told $1375 this time they wanted $1241 just for the part. Then had to get my paperwork corrected after they were trying to charge $260 for diagnostic. Service manager corrected it fast and so apologetically. So unless you intend on buying their parts I wouldn't take my vehicle there for service car seat there for a month and just got a call last week
