I recently took my car (not a BMW) in for a Texas state inspection. I was treated from the first phone call to set up an appointment to the time they... finished the inspection as if I had just purchased a new BMW from them! I dealt with Rebecca to make my appointment who was extremely nice and helpful. James in service assisted me and kept me up to date during the process as if it were a major repair, and after the inspection even offered to perform a wash for my auto before I left. I accepted and they even performed a hand wash with excellent results. They were also on time for my appointment. I will not only highly recommend this dealership to others due to their excellent customer relations and efficiency, but I certainly will plan to purchase my next BMW here when I am ready for a new car. The new BMW facility is beautiful and modern and a great place to view an extensive inventory of BMWs as I waited. Rebecca and James were excellent and genuinely friendly and helpful people and employees of Hendrick Auto Group!

I started going to this dealership since I moved to Austin Texas in late 2018. The dealership was great but within the Last year or so the service department... has gone down hill. Standing at the service counter as my rep is in talking to the manage that was on the phone looked at me and never told the rep to take care of me. Now my last visit I spent 2 1/2 hours at the dealership to get two new tires, and I had a appointment. There must be a new service manage that needs to be moved out of there.

I am on my 3rd new BMW so obviously I love the vehicle. Quality service is dependent on location. Typically I have taken my car to the North Austin location... and the service is good although there is some attitude especially with some of the attendants. However, recently I went to the South Austin location. My service advisor was Garrett who is great and top notch. However the south location sent me a video of my car during of their initial inspection. As the technician was going under the car he mentioned the tires were a 9 in the back and the front tires were a 7 so a little more wear. I was stunned by his observation because all 4 tires had been replace at BMW north the week prior and one of the tires on the front had a slow leak and had just been replaced 2 days before by the south Austin location. Needless to say I felt as if there was an interest to make another sale thinking I guess the customer was stupid and would not be smart enough to figure out the lie or lack of experience. I left message for the service manager but he never contacted me which was not impressive. I also spoke to Garrett about the situation, Garrett checked into the video situation and apparently the technician's response was "my bad" Do you really think this is acceptable service that I should feel confident the south Austin store's goal is to take advantage of customers and sell them something they do not need? Or they lack the necessary experience. Such incompetence is not what I have come to expect or experience from BMW.
