I bought a new 2019 X5 from Hendrick. I believe I got a fair price. After 10 months of no issues, I received a notice for a software upgrade that had... to be done by the dealer. There were actually 5 software upgrades, almost like an iPhone upgrade. The process took longer than expected but the service at Hendrick is terrific. I got another X5 as a loaner with no charge and picked up my car washed and in perfect condition. The service department at Hendrick separates them from other dealers. They are just amazing and super nice to deal with.

Very courteous, fast and to the point. Frank helped me yesterday to get my rental while my car was there. Really nice guy, he had a personality was was... east to talk with. When my SUV was ready it was boom boom and I was driving away in my car again.

First of all - no one met me at my car when I arrived to drop it off to get the oil changed. I was given a loaner but not told that my car would be kept... overnight. I don't have a problem with that but would have been nice to know. When I brought the loaner back, again no one met me in the garage. When I went inside, hardly a sole was in there to let them know why I was there. Garrett came out, brought my car to the front and then walked me out to my car. That was about the only real customer service I received.

I visited the service department for a stuck hood latch. No loaner available at the time of drop. I explained the issue and left the grill pieces on... the driver side so they could be replaced after the repair. I was advised of the estimate and agreed to the repair. I was notified late Friday the vehicle was ready for pick-up. Upon delivery I took immediate note; the grill pieces were not re-installed . I was told they are instructed to return the vehicle like it was brought in. I don't understand this. A simple call to discuss this would have prevented my frustration in addition it didn't help to find out the hood latch which wasn't fixed. This at least explained why, the left grill was not replaced. I'm not sure exactly why the latch wasn't addressed during repair as the tech knew it was bent and required a change out. Now I have to wait until the part comes in and make another visit to get it installed, which will be another loss of my time. I understand the loaner availability but it was difficult to do without a vehicle for three days.
