BUYER BEWARE If you buy a car from Auto Factory, make sure you buy the extended Warranty. We paid almost $20K cash for 2018 Cherokee 3 months ago. It originally failed inspection, and now has engine gasket problems and is going to cost over $5k to fix. They refused to even negotiate any kind of “make right offer.” What a terrible way to treat a customer buying the first car for their son. Basically they said “tough luck.” I agree with the person below that said they got screwed over. Never again.

I bought a truck from Auto Factory and true the company’s philosophy it was an easy stress free buying experience, however I judge a company on how they back up the sale with service. I had an unfortunate event happen about 5 weeks after the sale and 2 weeks after the State inspection in Maine. The company that performed the inspection was asked to do the work they refused to take responsibility of the event and refused to work with the extended warranty. Mike worked with me through the whole process worked with the service dept to fix the problem. When all else failed they took complete ownership of the issue and fixed the problem themselves when i was able to get the vehicle towed down. They even set me up in a recently traded vehicle to have a comfortable place to stay during the repairs. Anybody can sell you a vehicle, they do that well, however they back there vehicles after the sale as well. I will absolutely buy another vehicle even being from Maine. It is well worth the trip.
