They will cheat you!

They were fully aware the transmission was bad on a vehicle and avoided offering a warranty during the purchase because of this. Same hiding with a tire that has to be refilled every day. They had to have been refilling it before showing it to people. When said how we were never even able to use the vehicle and his been in the shop since purchase, there was not even an ounce of sympathy or empathy hiding behind As-is, rather than operating with integrity. Absolutely disgusting sales practices. Couldn't find our emails because there were 20,000 unread. We were told management would call us back; That never happened. They are a terrible bottom line company that should not be trusted! Buyer Beware!

shady used dealership...

Found a tundra online that I was interested in so i called because i was 5 hours away. The guy said the tundra is still available and on the lot. The next morning i made the 5 hour trip. Upon getting there the tundra was not there anymore. I asked what happened and the guy said they sold the truck yesterday. Since i was already there and there was 3 other tundra on the lot i took one for a test drive. The battery was dead and need a jump everytime the truck was turned off. Already suspicious... went through with the tundra thinking it was just a bad battery. So we did the paper work and everything got the truck and started the trip back home. 1 hour into the trip back home and the check engine light came on. I scanned it with my obd2 scanner and it was a evap code. Then everything made since why the dealer had a dead battery in the truck... so the codes wouldnt be stored and when trying to scan it wouldnt show any codes... anyways i got home and right away i checked all evap components of the tundra and lucky me it was just a $30 evap purge solenoid. All in all the dealership is pretty shady selling vehicles with known issues...

Cha Auto Sales should be ashamed.

What a nightmare it has been for us buying a car at Cha Auto Sales. My boyfriend and I are trying to get better jobs for a better future. In order to do that, we needed to buy a second car to get back and forth to our new jobs. We went to Cha Auto Sales because we saw a car, that we were interested in, right outside in the front row next to the busy traffic. We took it for a test drive, seemed to be decent. We went for it, hoping that we could trust this dealership to do us good. A few days of driving the car, the engine light turned on and we were driving in traffic when the car just stopped accelerating. We went home and parked the car for a week trying to think of what to do with it. We called Cha Dealership and told them what was happening. There was nothing they would do to help us. The car said on the company's website that the car had a 5,000 powertrain warranty, they never did give that information to us. When I discovered that, I called them again. They said they would have paperwork done up in the morning for us to sign it. Of course, we had to drive all the way back, and had to sign a document that offered a "3,000" powertrain warranty. I made note of it and said something, and he responded, "yeah well that's all I could get approved for it... They still didn't give us what was advertised on their website. 2 weeks later after trying to drive it again, the same thing happened. We took the car to Honda in Wilsonville to be evaluated. The result was that the car had a blown engine. There was water in the engine and basically, Honda told us that it would be $4,800 to repair the car, or $6,000 for a new engine. They also told us, do not drive the car at all or it would get a whole lot worse. So, now we have to find someone else to do the work as we spent our savings on the down payment. We had to have the car towed to a different shop, which ended up costing us $117.00 out of pocket with our insurance. When the tow truck came and hooked up, he wanted cash for the amount. Even though we had given our credit card number already...we had to withdrawal another $120.00 to pay the driver. We still have not been reimbursed for that double charge...Of course we were in contact with the owner of the company. They pretty much told us to take it to a cheaper shop and see what they say. We did that. We called Cha Auto Sales again, and told them how much it would be, which was $2,000 to fix it. We told them, "we would be satisficed if they paid $1,000 and then we would be ok with putting the other $1,000 in to it." Just know also, we still owe $2,735 on the loan for the car, that we can't even drive. After the run around with Cha and calling many times to see what they were willing to do to make the situation better...they gave us a check for $300.00. What a SLAP in the face. This car is still in the shop 6 weeks later...because we had to borrow $500.00 from family and we paid another $500.00 from our paychecks...just to get the guy to start the work. We still owe him $1,000 before we can get the car back. This whole ordeal has been so stressful on us, financially and emotionally. I still have not been able to start my new job because I don't have a way to get there. How am I supposed to pay the mechanic if I can't even get to work to earn money. I am telling you all this...the owner of Cha Auto Sales does not care about you or even their own business, as they clearly demonstrated with us. Honestly, don't waste your time...you will only be in even further debt. Cha Auto Sales gets their cars from auctions, they don't know what is wrong with them...they just put a price in the window. They completely took advantage of me and my boyfriend, we are only trying to get ahead in life and this dealership completely ripped us off! Cha Auto should be ashamed!!! You've been warned.

WORST EXPERIENCE

Ugh, the worst car buying experience of my life. We overpaid for an Xterra here last week as we needed a replacement vehicle ASAP for an upcoming move. We heard them laughing after we bought the car - probably because they had just made 7.5k on a vehicle with a useless transmission. 40 miles off the lot and the check engine light came on. It took less than 24 hours for it to completely break down - the transmission was shot and displayed 5 different errors codes. We have to pay 5k for repairs right off the bat and need a complete replacement to the transmission, radiator, and catalytic converter!! We called the dealership to see if there was anything at all they could do since we purchase the vehicle the day before - they provided nothing. We asked if they would buy back the vehicle - no luck. They then tried to get us to pay full price for a refurbished transmission from their friend’s repair shop with no discount. I wish we had gone to literally anywhere else, many dealerships in the area offer warranties. With Cha Auto, we are left with a faulty vehicle and thousands in repairs. 0/5 stars.

They don’t stand behind their word.

They sold the car with advertising 90 warranty but they didn’t do it on the sale until after 3 day I caught they cheated the sale. It took about TWO month to get license plate which they said if they do it will be faster. HIGHLY recommend DO NOT buy from this place

Great dealership with great people

Very easy process, no pressure to buy and great customer service. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great reliable car sold by honest people.

Knowledgable

My car buying experience was exceptional because Michael provided excellent customer service. He was very knowledgeable and professional. The process went a lot better than I originally anticipated.

Bend OR - Natasha

Spend my entire last weekend shopping. This place was like number 15 on my car lot list but I wish I came here first. I came with my daughter and throughout my weekend people were so rude. Like look, I have money and want to buy a car. I met Mike here and he was really nice over the phone, better in person. He treated me so well and gave me a lot of space to look at the cars. I am super picky and I am sure most would have gave up on me. He was nice throughout the entire process and explained the buying process really well. Loved my time here and glad I made it home with a car as I didn't want to come back from Bend. Next time, I will be heading straight there.

Selina Gutierrez

I got financed here with terrible credit and no driver's license. I literally thought I would never get a car over 1000 and be stuck in buckets for the rest of my life. My kids and I really needed a 3rd row vehicle so I gave this place a shot and I was so happy I did. Thanks for helping a person out in a tough spot in life!
