Horrible customer service.

Horrible customer service. Went in to go look at a Mini Cooper. Test drove it, didn't feel like the Countryman ALL4 is for me and that I want to look at a Mini Cooper hardtop 4dr instead. They didn't have one so I wanted to leave. He straight out told me that he is not familiar with the Mini lineup. They tell me they have a couple more in the back. I went back there to see what other Minis they have. They had another Countryman but in FWD. I ask if I can test drive this one. He got pretty annoyed and told me they all drive the same. NEWS FLASH. They don't. Clearly the person has never driving a FWD and an AWD. I didn't want to get into the whole drivetrain debate so I left and purchased a Countryman from my place of business. Yes, I work at a dealership as well. I want to support small business but this is no way to treat a customer. I thought a Honda dealership is bad. This is worse.

I reached out to Autos of Plano about a car and was told

I reached out to Autos of Plano about a car and was told to send $1,000 to hold it. I was flying in from Chicago to Dallas to make the purchase. Less than a day later, I found a better deal locally and let them know I no longer needed the car held. When I asked for my money back, Andre suddenly mentioned the $1,000 was nonrefundable — something he conveniently failed to say upfront. No signed agreement, no paperwork, just a quick grab for cash. Now I’m stuck doing unnecessary legwork to get my own money back. This place shows zero integrity or respect for customers. Feels like they're just desperate for money. If that’s how they operate, I’d stay far away. Shady business, plain and simple.

Horrible Experience - ENGINE EXPLOSTON WITHING ONE WEEK

Horrible Experience - ENGINE EXPLOSTON WITHING ONE WEEK OF PURCHASE, Unsafe Tires, and Terrible Customer Service STAY AWAY !!! DONT CONDUCT BUSINESS HERE (CHECK PHOTOS) I purchased a car from Autos of Plano on March 14, 2025, and within just ONE WEEK March 21, 2025, the engine exploded and caught the car on fire. It was an incredibly frightening and dangerous situation, especially considering I had just purchased the car. Before this, I had also asked the dealership to replace the tires, as the tread was very low. They refused, stating that it "passed state inspection and it wasn’t their responsibility." This was extremely frustrating, as the tires were clearly unsafe and should have been replaced for the safety of the driver. Not wanting any back and forth I agreed to change the tires myself. When my insurance company reached out for service records to understand what happened with the engine, the dealership told them they would have to "follow up at a later time," which felt like an excuse to avoid responsibility. I then tried calling the dealership directly, and the first time I called, they hung up on me. Determined to get some answers, I called again and spoke with Angelica Juarez. Instead of addressing my concerns, she just said, "I need to speak to my manager," and left me hanging. This lack of communication and accountability has been beyond frustrating. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car from Autos of Plano to be cautious. The safety and quality of their vehicles are questionable, their customer service is terrible, and they clearly don’t take responsibility for the condition of the cars they sell. Its extremely frustrating when people don't take accountability.

Terrible experience at this dealership.

Terrible experience at this dealership. After spending hours negotiating, they'd agree on the car price, only to change the trade-in value and add unnecessary add-on packages. It felt like a never-ending back-and-forth. Once we finally agreed on the total price, I waited an additional hour for the finance guy to finalize the deal, only for him to increase the price again by $1,500, claiming he couldn’t sell it for what we had spent so much time agreeing upon. I walked out completely disgusted by their dishonest tactics.

I made in appointment online, with a lady named Gigi,

I made in appointment online, with a lady named Gigi, headed over in an Uber earlier than my scheduled time. When I get there someone asks if they can help (great!) I tell them I'm here to drive an old BMW and she tells me it was sold after hours the day before. This lady was in fact Gigi. So I thank her for her time and leave...However that doesn't seem to be the case since the car is still on their website a MONTH later. Seems like, with the other reviews, they lure you in with "below than average prices" only to sell you one of their other lemons. I tried to ignore the bad reviews and give a small dealership a chance but that was a mistake.

“Prices are negotiable” NOT AT ALL!

Awesome Experience!!!

I was skeptical buying online at first. But this dealership and the team went above and beyond to accommodate my needs in buying a used vehicle. No bogus or hidden fees and their cars are top class. Would definitely recommend this dealership!

DONT DO IT

Have had a nightmare experience and urge anyone reading this to RUN not walk from this dealer. I rented a car in Austin to drive up and purchase a BMW 335i. I get to the dealership to test drive the car and was happy with how clean it seemed and low miles. Take her for a spin, up and down the interstate and on the way back start to smell burning oil. I look under the car when I park and see oil dripping from what comes to be the Valve Cover Gasket onto the exhaust and smoking. I tell Marcus and he says that's no problem, they can fix it and negotiated another $1k off the vehicle. Marcus seemed very personable and had been very helpful up to this point, so I unfortunately gave them the benefit of the doubt and signed the deal, waiting in house for repair. Once car complete, I start the drive back to Austin. By the 35 split I had started to feel misfires and text Macus saying I regretted the deal. Get home in Atx and as I park the Oil Light came on. I take a picture send to Marcus and come to find out when they "fixed" the valve cover gasket the technition didn't put any oil in my engine and sent me back to Austin. Marcus offers to pay for an oil change and said a check would be sent on May 5th and here we are 2 months later and nothing.... I take the car to BMW to get serviced and get a 7k in services recommended for not only the Valve Cover gasket but the Oil Pan and Oil filter housing gasket. With Video proof showing the most serious leak is the VALVE COVER GASKET. So, I ask Marcus which gasket they replaced (as a condition of me purchasing) and he sent a picture of the valve cover gasket they purchased then "installed". I send the BMW video and ask them to make it right by at least reimbursing me for "what they fixed" and Marcus just said the picture of the part bought was proof they installed rather than my literal video proof to the contrary. Have everything documented through text with Marcus and am working on the Petition to serve in small claims. Save yourself the trouble and work with a more reproable and professional dealership.
