Run don’t walk away from this dealership.

Run don’t walk away from this dealership. They do not honor their word . Their talent is double talking you and if you dare to question their actions they bully you. They sold me what they called a “great truck “ after the truck I had chosen to go in and see. Was suddenly gone. Sold they said. Once I was there they unloaded an unsafe to drive truck on me their unsuspecting female customer 20 minutes out of your lot. The first five warnings came up pulling over sending text screenshot of the warning. I was told not to worry. It’s just low tire pressure. Nothing‘s wrong will take care of it. If there is turns out there were five field systems and in those warnings were the words unsafe to drive still they were OK with me driving it back to their dealership down the mountain they would not come for the truck. You just spent two weeks plus since this happened and I’ve been out of pocket for a rental car for having to pay people to take me places. They said that they would replace the truck after they read my first reviews and then today I was supposed to pick up the truck and they were demanding more money more money on top of what I’ve been put out and inconvenienced waiting for them to trade out this unsafe truck their business tactics are unethical, rude opportunistic, and they don’t give a darn about their customers they were not compromising anyway if it was if it meant any loss to them, no matter how much money I had to put up because of my dealings with them, they do not show good public relations nor do they hold themselves accountable for their actions. If you question them, they bully you is their way or the highway the CEO Arnold Martinez height behind his computer screen never responded to any of the many emails I sent him trying to get resolution haggling over $1000 instead of doing what’s right. Making the rotten deal they made selling a woman an unsafe truck. Then Turning around and demanding. More money for a truck they were eager to handle for me. To take care of me. After asking me to remove my bad reviews. ! They are nothing but greedy and shady deal makers. Women especially do not go near this dealership or any of their other locations. They took gross advantage of my trust in them. Then on top of their first shady deal , wouid not stand up to their promise to trade out the bad truck with out milking. Me for more money. Weeks later and lots of stress and inconvenience on my part they believe me again no extra money no truck audacity of these people is unbelievable. Do not buy a car from these people. You’re only buying a headache if you do

Steven helped us, who seemed a little grumpy at the time

Steven helped us, who seemed a little grumpy at the time and then Jaime helped us sign the paperwork, who seemed friendly and helpful. But on the way home the a check engine light came on. They are going to look at it Monday, Code reader says something about the emissions system. Hopefully they can get it fixed for us. Will update after Monday...Stars and recommendation may change...

Considering the other reviews, I don’t think everyone

Considering the other reviews, I don’t think everyone gets treated as badly and dishonestly as we were. But, here’s what you should watch out for if you’re thinking of buying a car at Fontana Motors. We had researched the make and model of car that we wanted and found one that fit the bill at Fontana Motors. It was an hours drive to get there but it would be worth the drive since we were going to pay cash and go right home with it for our son. It was a 2021 Kia Soul listed for $14,299. The price was good and we weren’t going to try to negotiate anything better. We test drove it and asked to purchase it. Though we were going to pay with a check, they wanted to run a credit check. Though our credit score is well over 800, they said that they needed to use a debit card and charge a 0.5% fee. We agreed. Then, we were presented with the total bill of $18,300 with no warranty or $19,300 with a warranty. The two numbers were written on a small piece of paper with no breakdown of charges. I told the salesman that these numbers were not going to work. He went in the back and out came the Sales Manager. He sat down with an itemized list in front of him. I reached across the table to look at it and the first obvious problem was that he had the price as $15,299. I asked him why and he called it “Dealer Mark Up”. He asked me whether I have purchased a used car before (the answer is yes) and he acted as if I needed an education. There were other ridiculous charges to support the additional $2,500. During our discussion he also mentioned that he thought we could afford more since he knew we were paying cash and he had seen our credit report. I won’t deal with such a dishonest person that does not honor their advertised price and negotiates in such a dishonest manner. My wife said he was trying to be intimidating but he was just pissing me off. We said “No Thanks” and left. As we were leaving, the Sales Manager taunted us by saying “You’ll be back”. This guy has no idea how to do his job or deal with people in a respectful manner. I didn’t get his name but our salesman was Tom and he got screwed out of a sale by his boss. The Kia Soul has been on that lot for 7 months according to CarGuru’s. It’s probably still there. We got a much better deal the next deal the next day on the same model but one year older with similar mileage. We’re glad we left Fontana Motors. We saved about $4,000. I am including a copy of what dealer charges should look like. Maybe the Sales Manager will read this and learn something. I don’t need an education in buying a used car but I know someone that should learn more about ethical business practices and customer service.

Horrible customer service!

Horrible customer service! Came in with an appointment and ready to test drive a car, but it wasn't ready, and we were left waiting in the rain for 30 minutes while they tried to find the keys. After we had taken the car for a test drive and gone inside to talk pricing, it seemed like the guy didn't know what he was doing. He was hesitant to give us a breakdown of the pricing, and once we started questioning why the car was more expensive than the listed price, he passed us on to another sales associate. Whatever you do, avoid a salesperson named Austin! We would have been more willing to buy if he hadn't been so rude, talked down to us, and kept persisting that we shouldn't leave the dealership to think on pricing, even though we had plans and kept saying the given rate was out of our price range. One of the worst dealership experiences ever!
