This was the worst car buying experience ever. The staff here will give you the runaround and false promises. The only reason I bought my car here is... because the specific car I was looking to buy was pretty scarce - only 3 in Southern California. The car had some issues to fix that my mechanic caught on the pre purchase inspection. Fontana Motors Direct would not budge on the price, however they agreed to fix the issues themselves. I purchased the vehicle, and after two weeks of calling them to see when the parts were coming in and when I could bring my car in, I was told the parts were on their way. But when the parts didn’t come in after two weeks, I had to call the general manager about my issue. The GM seemed surprised how such a thing could happen. The GM also claimed that the parts were not ordered, despite the staff telling me “the parts are on the way.” After three weeks, they finally called me to tell me the parts were in, and to bring the car in. They set up an appointment and when I brought the car in, they told me the parts were not there and were still on the way. They set up another appointment after four weeks at another branch of theirs. When I brought the car in for the second time, they had ordered the wrong parts. After going back and forth trying to get the car repaired, it took over a month to finally get the car fixed. I could have ordered the parts myself and had them installed in about 3 days. The staff members have the cavalier attitude of “Not my problem and not my job to fix it.” They also promised to fill up the tank with gas, since I had to drive back and forth to get it fixed. But they never filled up the tank. Stay away at all costs. If you can find the car you’re looking for at any other dealer, buy it there. FYI, Fontana Motors Direct is affiliated with Panda Motors, California Motors Direct, Corona Motors Direct and LA Auto Exchange.
Salesmen walked us out to see a car, he then left us to go look for the keys. 15 minutes later we walk back to the office and he standing there with key... in hand. 103 outside! No knowledge of vehicles on the lot. To busy on his personal cell phone to sell us a car! Won't return anytime soon.
Went and nobody greeted me. I was walking around waiting and noticed many cars were cheaply repaired or still had damage. Finally spoke to a gentleman... and they charge an arm and a leg in taxes and fees. Needless to say I left the lot
I asked about a car and it went from 22k all the way to 27k after taxes and fees? I asked them to break it down for me so I could see what I paying for... and they did not want to go through it with me. they lost a deal that day. the prices are lower, bu fees are HIGH. I would steer clear. they work with California motors direct which also has poor reviews. they sell mostly cars that have been in accidents
I am very happy with this dealership and I would definitely use them again . They were friendy, professional, very prompt and helpful. They have unique... inventory and very well kept
Trey was the young man who helped me and my wife that day, I came to see a Toyota Mira and when I got there the auxiliary battery was too low to start... the car, in 5 minutes, Trey recharged it and had it up and running, so I took the car for a test drive, I had been to 2 other dealerships and they were the highlight of that day.
Went here in search of a truck. Was helped out by a wonderful young man who had the truck pulled up front for me when I got there. Took me on a short little... test drive and was able to work with me on getting to the payment I was looking for. The paperwork took no time at all compared to some of the other dealerships I had been to. Overall had a great experience here at Fontana Motors and will definitely be back for my next car! Highly recommend this place to anyone that is in the search for nice luxury cars at highly affordable prices!
This place has a great selection of cars and has superb service. Came in and was helped out right away. Everyone was very kind and friendly! Showed me... exactly what I was looking for and did a great job of explaining all the features the car had. Made the whole process quick and easy. Was able to run to the bank and by the time I was back the car was detailed and was able to go through the paperwork in no time at all! Was at the dealership for less then 2 hours total which is much better then I can say for any other place. Highly recommend this place for everyone looking for a car!
I called this dealer 10min before closing time looking to see if a car was available at this location and if I could put it on hold the manager informed... me the car was available but I couldn’t place it on hold so i informed him was will be there when they open to look at in the morning but when I got there I found out there transfer out the car the night before so they can put it on hold for a family friend . when I tried texting the manager back I got no response. so overall , this place has good cars but they have special rules for special people
