Sam was very patient with me, he even drove the car down to the Providence Toyota dealer for a pre purchase inspection. I got a good deal, no added/hidden fees or any of the usual deceptions. Would happily buy from Sam again...

Very unprofessional - bought a certified used 2024 Santa
Very unprofessional - bought a certified used 2024 Santa Cruz - purchase process was OK - maybe a B - promised a second key fob - took 8 weeks and many many phone calls and messages - also - cancelled a warranty which cost $3200 - did all the paperwork - followed all the rules - it has been 11 weeks and no refund - called insurance company and they said that Grieco had not submitted the cancellation paperwork - once the purchase is done - they have no use for their customers - sure doesn't encourage any kind of loyalty

The absolute worst dealership experience ever.
The absolute worst dealership experience ever. It took approximately 3.5 hours to agree on a deal and it was a very painful journey. The only reason I tolerated this was because the dealer had the exact model I wanted, on the lot. Sam, the sales associate, was very pleasant and accommodating, the finance officer was fantastic. It was the used car manager and the dealership manager who would not craft a deal according to my request. I remember saying, several times, "you are killing me!" each time the sales associate returned from talking with the manager. The real kicker here is that the sales associate asked me to rate the experience all 10's on the survey I would be receiving. I wanted to be honest in my ratings, so rather than rate them all 10's I chose not to rate them at all but the associate kept pestering me to complete the survey. So I did, being truthful in my opinion of the entire experience. They were not happy about my assessment. I told them they should learn from this and change some of their tactics and policies. Needless to say they ignore or disregarded any attempt to get in touch with anyone, in writing. They still owe me a tonneau cover, which I am sure I will never receive.

The entire process of buying a used car was excellent.
The entire process of buying a used car was excellent. Everything went smoothly and the sales rep, Donny Chakoian, went above and beyond the call of duty for the entire experience. Although they seemed short staffed that evening, he was able to help me and several other customers in a very polite and seamless effort to answer all questions. When you need a car, go to him!!

The most unprofessional experience I've ever encountered
The most unprofessional experience I've ever encountered at a dealership. HYUNDAI should be embarrassed that "Grieco" represents their product line. I have been driving a Palisade since 2021 and was looking to get into a new lease on a 2024 Palisade Calligraphy with a beige interior. Conducted my due diligence online and narrowed down my choices to Grieco Hyundai and Balise Hyundai. Grieco insisted they could beat all other offers. I chose to give Grieco a try not for the $200 savings they were supposedly offering but because they had a 2024 Calligraphy with beige sitting on their lot. I arrived at their location at 3:00 PM for my scheduled appointment on 10/10/24 and was expecting a straight forward process. Unfortunately it all went downhill from there. "Justin L" the sales manager I dealt with prior to my arrival assigned my lease deal to a sales associate named "Franco" who exuberantly wasted my time with his moot sales pitch even though I thoroughly explained to him that I was very familiar with the model when we first sat at his desk. He proceeded to take the $3,625.00 due at signing as outlined in their lease offer, $1,125.00 was received in the form of a check and the balance of $2,500.00 charged to my Discover card, this occurred around 3:15 PM. I was expecting to have things wrapped up no later than 4:00 PM. Fast forward to almost 6:00 PM, no docs to sign. I told Franco I was no longer interested in doing business with Grieco. I requested my check back and a credit refund to be applied to to my Discover card. At that juncture Franco passed me off to Justin. Justin went on to say that additional financial information was going to be needed from me to get the deal done. He claimed it wasn't the dealerships "Griecos" fault. He blamed Hyundai Financial saying they were the ones requiring additional paperwork. Justin then suggested "to take the night to think it over". I politely declined his recommendation and once again requested my deposit check and a credit refund to my Discover. Justin refused to do either one. It was necessary for me to put a stop payment on the check for a fee of $35.00 and dispute the $2,500 Discover card charge including interest charges in the amount of $50.00. My total out of pocket costs including traveling expenses for my Grieco experience was approximately $185.00. The following morning I drove to Balise. I was out the door with a lease agreement in hand in under an hour then able to pick up the vehicle registered with a full tank of gas later that afternoon all for $700 less than the Grieco lease offer. Stay clear of Grieco Hyundai and their unethical, deceptive, shameless practices. Reputation is everything. If HYUNDAI cares about reputation and who represents their brand they should strongly consider revoking Griecco's dealership privileges.

Dear Mr. McAuliffe: If you're sincerely sorry for the inconvenience I experienced at the hands of the Greico team then do the right thing and reimburse my out of pocket expenses totaling $185.00. Grieco Hyundai shouldn't have accepted a deposit if there was never any intent of honoring and finalizing the lease offer presented to me by your sales manager Justin L. Quite frankly it's appalling. Let it be known Grieco Hyundai pushed hard for my business, especially after I told one of your team team members "Ashanti" that I had a deal in place with Balise Hyundai for the same vehicle. Soon there after another sales manager Tiffany texted me that Grieco would beat any offer by $200.00 if I had it in writing. Per request I submitted the written offer from Balise. After receiving a similar offer from Justin I decided to make the drive from Cape Cod to Johnston RI not for the $200.00 but because Grieco had a 2024 Palisade with a beige interior on site and Balise did not. I ended up wasting three hours of my time only to be insulted by your sales manager. According to Justin L the outrageous excuse he came up with as to the reason the deal could not be finalized was "due to the fault of Hyundai Financial". I told him that was utter nonsense and completely unfounded. Both Hyundai Financial and Balise had already put together the same lease agreement without any issues a couple of days earlier. Grieco basically printed up the same agreement just to bait me into the showroom. At the end of the day I'm driving my new 2024 Palisade Calligraphy from Balise. If your team was half as forthcoming as everyone at Balise then maybe I would have been driving off your lot with a beige interior, oh well! Respectfully, R.Pellegrini Cape Cod, MA
I found an advertised price for a vehicle I had been
I found an advertised price for a vehicle I had been searching for over some time. The price seemed unusually low, so I reached out to confirm its accuracy, as I didn’t want to waste my time if it was incorrect. I was assured multiple times that the price was accurate and applied to the specific vehicle in question. I visited the dealership, took the car for a test drive, and was ready to make the purchase. However, I was then informed that the listed price was incorrect and significantly higher. After speaking with both the manager and general sales manager, I was told the price was a mistake and that they would not honor it. Interestingly, the price changed overnight, after I had been at the dealership prepared to buy at the advertised rate. I would advise caution when dealing with this dealership. They advertised a false price, failed to honor their mistake, and changed the price after my visit. Be wary of misleading pricing practices.
