This dealership tried a bait and switch with trying to tack on additional hidden fees under the premise of “dealer installed options” for an upholstery protectant. When confronted the sales rep Hugo and acting manager, Charles admitted they quoted a price that they could not honor after arriving in-person. Save your time and avoid this dealership at all costs.

Dishonest Sales Tactics – Beware I drove 2 hours from Upland to buy a used 2024 Ford Mustang from Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard after being quoted $39,900 over the phone by a rep named Hugo. When I arrived, they added a surprise $1,400 "Zurich Shield" fee that was never mentioned — not on the phone, not online, nowhere. When I pushed back, the manager, Charles, was dismissive and claimed it was in the fine print. Even Hugo admitted he never told me about the charge. As a disabled paraplegic, it took extra effort to make the trip, and I feel misled and taken advantage of. Shady, deceptive, and unethical. Avoid this dealership unless you enjoy hidden fees and wasted time.

Mercedes Benz of Oxnard is an outstanding dealership for
Mercedes Benz of Oxnard is an outstanding dealership for purchasing a car. From the moment we called to when we got there until we left. No pressure; they made you feel welcomed as part of a new family member. We drove from Lake Elsinore to Oxnard because Jesse(J-Rod, as my husband named him) was a warm and caring salesperson. He listened to our needs and provided the benefits of meeting our needs. We came to Oxnard Mercedes via my ADP company perks program. The presentation and information on the website were clear and truthful. Each time a staff member at Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard walked by, they took the time to make you feel welcome and shared a story about the value of getting a car that you would be happy with. I didn't leave feeling hustled or overwhelmed. I left the store with my new vehicle and had tremendous peace of mind. On top of that, Jesse (J-Rod) texted us to make sure we made it safe to return home. Thank MB for Oxnard for a great experience!

Horrible service got charged 1800 dollars to have a key made that didn’t work then pushed my car off the lot literally just pushed my car off the lot and said I had to pay again if I needed more help

Purchased on 11/9/2024, excellent experience. Matt from sales did an outstanding job, I was an out of state buyer so required a lot of his time. While I had a lot of questions Matt made this the best car purchase experience. If they sell the type of car you are buying I highly recommend working with this dealer.

While the dealership demonstrated effective communication during the sales process, I have experienced a lack of communication since the purchase. I have submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau; however, the dealership is not accredited. I advise potential buyers to proceed with caution.

This review is for the service department at Mercedes-Benz of Oxnard. I had originally brought my car to a trusted family mechanic to see what the problem was when a check engine light turned on. And they advised me that it was a problem with a certain part that dealt with the transmission. However, they could not do the repairs because Mercedes would not sell them the part so we would have to bring it to Mercedes. They advised us that the part would cost around $450-$500. However, when we brought the car to Mercedes, they gave us a service estimate of $4500. So we paid the $4500 and while the car was in their care, another check engine light turned on and they advised us that it would be another $1600 to repair that issue. They had the car for two months when they finally returned it to us on the same day within hours of receiving the car another check engine light turned on and they advised us that it would be another $1800 to fix that light. November 2023 we had also brought the car in for another light issue which cost around $2500-$2800 and with in that same service, another light came on and they advised us it would be an extra cost. The total cost of repair in November around $3400. The repair service at Mercedes of Oxnard seems very Untrustworthy, With the Estimates constantly changing from the initial amount. They take no accountability and constantly attribute the issue to the car being older. How is it that we bring the car in for one check engine light issue and they say they fixed it only for two more lights to turn on… at what point as a consumer do I start to mistrust them and believe that the new issues are of their doing to make extra money. Because everyone knows most of a dealership’s profit comes from the service department. These people do not take accountability and I want everyone to be aware and beware before they bring their car in for service and have to deal with the same shady business tactic and practices that we have had the misfortune of deal with with. I’m sure we are not the only people they are pulling this stunt on, I also believe they were trying to take advantage of my dad because it seems like he’s not very English fluent and because of his accent. It was only when I began to speak to the service advisor that they seemed to change their tune. It seems like every time we bring our car in for service for one issue they find many more issues to charge us thousands of dollars more for. Please help, the car has been in their possession for three months now and we do not want to keep paying them thousands of dollars. They keep telling us it’s one problem and conveniently for them more problems arise that cost us more money.
