Not impressed with my service experience in Spencerport.
Not impressed with my service experience in Spencerport. Dropped car off for an oil change and inspection. 4 hours later, it's not done. The service writer, Brandon, gave me attitude why I was there and asked me if I had gotten a call/text that it was done? It is so hard to find good help these days! I'll do my own service from now on.

I purchased a pre-certified 2021 Trail Boss from them.
I purchased a pre-certified 2021 Trail Boss from them. About 8,000 miles after I purchased it, I noticed both front tires were worn bald on the inside. They claim that before you buy the vehicle, they go over the entire vehicle including alignment but there’s no possible way that this truck was aligned correctly when you see the damage done to what were new tires upon the purchase. They showed me a paper that said the vehicle was aligned (I mean, if it’s written down, it must be true!🤷🏻♂️) and then refused to replace the tires or admit that they were obviously at fault. I see many reviews written for them right after a purchase but almost none that back up their service promises because once you drive away they write you off.

Wasted my time
The service department is not thorough. I needed a gas hose and because my door on the gas fill as supposed to open with one push. The other dealer I had ordered the housing but it never came in. This dealerships sold me the truck so I figured I'd give them chance to look at it. Call me and told me nothing was wrong with it and he lubricated and it's working fine. Want to fill my gas tank had a precious five or six times as usual. Not impressed so now I have to take it to the other dealer and wait for the part to come in anyway. It was the last time.

Great employees
The guys at the chevy west location were awesome to work with. I was a pain customer from out of town and they dealt with everything with ease. Got everything ready for me to pick my car up over the weekend. Rob was awesome to work with as well as the manager Joe.

They don't care about the customers at all.
They don't care about the customers at all. Talked to Joe the salesman for 4 days straight because the truck I wanted wasn't on the lot yet. He said he would get it and take the keys and put it around back so nobody will sell it. Then they turn around and sell it behind my back without letting me know. People told me not to deal with them xxxx bags now I know why

I purchased a 2020 Traverse from this location roughly 3 months ago. I upgraded the package to the paint sealant and undercoating for life. Upon brining the vehicle home I noticed what appeared to be sap stuck into the paint on the hood of the car. I brought the vehicle back for them to remove off the hood. After a few hours the mechanic told me my vehicle was all set. The sap was removed however, they put 5 small dents in the hood of the vehicle. I showed the service guy and he explained they have a 3rd party dent guy and they would call me with an appointment when he was in town. You didn't see this after final inspection? After 2 weeks of waiting I never received a call so I called them and asked what the status was. The service guy stated that he forget and would have the sales representative call me to book an appointment. Why would the guy who sold the car set up an appointment for dents that were caused by your mechanics? Within the time frame of waiting i noticed a ticking noise under the dash and when it rained water was gathering in the passenger headlight. I called back to set an appointment for everything since I haven't even had this brand new car for less than a month at this point. The service mechanic told me he would have a loaner due needing a car for my job. When I arrived he stated he did not have a loaner so I had to book another appointment. I am a very patient person so at the time no big deal. When I came back again I received a loaner. After roughly 5 hours I was informed my vehicle was done. At this point nothing was done to the car. He stated that the ticking noise was normal and condensation in headlights was also normal. He then handed me a packet from GM of pictures of condensation in headlights with the most recent vehicle being a 2014! At this point I was beyond frustrated. I asked for a mechanic who came to the vehicle and heard the ticking noise and stated it was a high pressure valve and it is normal. So now my brand new vehicle has dents, water in a headlight, and a noise which i know is not normal. I know customers are not always right due to the nature of my career, sometimes you have to tell a customer "no" but this is by far the worst experience from any dealership i have ever dealt with. What is the purpose of a warranty? Do you not make money on fixing mechanical issues with new vehicles under warranty? At this point I contacted Chevy customer support who conducted an investigation. I was denied help after they spoke to websmart stating they support the decision of the dealership. Never been so frustrated over a car let alone a 35k brand new car. I brought the car to a mechanic who told me the car had issues both under the dash and headlight. Typically a mechanic would take your money but he told me to go to another chevy dealership and warranty is universal. Unbenounced to me I wasnt aware of this so I went to another chevy dealership. The dealership immediately took the car in and ordered parts. After a few days I brought the car in and it was fixed. The passenger headlight had a bad sealing so they replaced the headlight. The ticking noise was a poor canister purge valve and the dents were due to them pushing down to hard to remove sap which was stuck under the paint sealant. I called chevy back and they re opened the investigation du to negligence on their behalf for not even advising me to have a second opinion under chevy warranty. I denied anything from chevy for the inconvenience, that is beyond the point. The point is how do you treat people who invest in your business and or company the right from the things which are wrong? How can you tell a buyer nothing is wrong when something is wrong? Let alone damage a car further and avoid it. This isn't a small purchase and if mechanical issues arise that is what a warranty is for. The issue isn't that mechanical things go wrong that is life but to sit there and deny a person on a brand new vehicle and just lie about it is beyond my comprehension. Very shady practices to make a sale worst experience
