Staff is friendly. They diagnosed the problem. They let me know that the parts would take awhile to come in. They always give me a ride home and come pick me up.

LIGHT ISSUE
PLEASE READ-PLEASE READ!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have bought two vehicles from Hertrich. I have had 32 vehucles in my lifetime. Of all 32 vehicles I have owned, I have had the worst service experience. On the two I purchased from Hertrich I have had the worst service experience. I took my GMC I purchased from Hertrich in for problems with my light. I had just had the bulb replaced, the service dept later told me that the light needed replacing, because the ballister wire was bent at the cost of $508, the ballisters are wrapped, so the wire can not be bent or touched. Funny, I had just put a new one in. I showed the management that the light worked. They said it was my fault! Another $275 to fix again by a friend. Best service is PRESTON!!!

Not Happy
First of all we have bought 3 vehicles from Phil Abelson at the Salisbury location. He is terrific and the best of their employees. After an almost fatal accident for my husband--we were in need of a new pick-up. We purchased a 2021 GMC Canyon. We are very happy with it. We purchased it 2/24/2021. We are still driving on Maryland temp tags and we live in Va. My husband was a manager with VA. DMV for 34years. He has always done our dealer work. This time we were told that they have to handle it and for that we paid $232.75. We are very unhappy with Hertrich. We have called many times and get the runaround. This is very UNPROFESSIONAL to be treated this way for that $232.75. OUTRAGEOUS.

Dealership lacks knowledge
Not happy with knowledge of staff or service department. I was promised the car would be cleaned but it never was. I bought a dirty car inside and out. They don’t know how to detail a car? Simply put, clean it because by the time the paperwork was done it was to late and they were closing. It didn’t even smell like a brand car. That’s all I asked for, many times. It never happened. Grime, dirt, dust, bird droppings, fuzzy xxxxx, windshield you couldn’t see out of...and it’s a brand new car!! As far as the first free oil change... I won’t let them ever touch my car again! I asked for a survey to make options known and never received one. Dealership?!? If Freddy only knew how poorly it is ran. Hope this makes it way to him. Hertrick and my family go back many years. To the days of dirt track racing. Sponsored our #75 late model race car. I was so proud. Today I am ashamed to have that name on the back of my own car.
