I bought a 2018 GMC Terrain Denali from RECAR and was a little apprehensive because this was my first time dealing with their company. but the deal turned... out to be pretty good. The pricing was fair because I bought the vehicle half of what it sell for MSRP. After I bought the vehicle it was shipped to my house for a reasonable price so that is a plus for the convenient factor. The few complaints I have is that the vehicle showed up with the hands free lift gate not working, but it was not a big deal because I bought a warranty and had it fixed at the dealer for free. The second is trying t get my plates which was due to some paperwork being lost, but is the end everything worked out. When a person decides to buy a rebuilt vehicle they should be aware of what they are getting into because no one is not getting a factory fresh vehicle, but pretty darn close for a great price. Rebuilt vehicles are especially good if one plans on keeping them for a while because over the course because new vehicles depreciate so much in the first 5 years of ownership.
Purchased a newer Dodge Ram from this dealer noticed it had some nosies coming from the from and rear sounding like suspension they said they would hold... it for a couple of days and have a mechanic fix everything before I picked it up and they would have it detailed by the time I picked it up later that week. I called later that week asking if they fixed it they said yes I drove down there and picked it up they did not detail it also driving it home I relised they didn’t fix or do anything
I bought a 2018 Ram from here and I absolutely loved the experience and vehicle. On top of saving thousands of dollars the staff there were OUTSTANDING,... honest, and understanding. I dealt with Josh over the phone or email for most of the process and he responded to me within minutes. When I replace my other vehicle in a couple of years there is not a question to where I am going to shop. As for the reviewer that stated the vehicles were junk...If you have never purchased a rebuilt vehicle how do you know? This is my second one (The first being from a dealer in KY). Like any used vehicle you should have it inspected by a mechanic if you don't know what you are doing. And never leave a rating good or bad unless you experienced the process with the business you are rating, and because you did not do business with them, that tells me you don't know jack. They have a customer for life!
Every vehicle has been a total loss, due to ctash or flood. Thats a horrible thought. Buying junk. No thank you! None are safe.never would buy here
At first I was leery of buying a rebuilt title vehicle, after I spoke with ReCar they insisted that I come down and look for myself that everything was... fixed and repaired correctly. I even financed the vehicle through them. It was a 2018 F-150, so far, so good. Looking forward to doing more business with them in the future. Thanks so much!
This was the conversation verbatim. //Phone Ring// Automated System: Please press one now to be connected. //Pressed 1// Recar Rep. : Recar. Me: Hello,... I was calling to ask about the 2015... --Dial Tone-- She hung up on me in less than 5 seconds. Although, on the return call, the gentleman who answered informed me that he vehicle in question had been sold, I cannot help but to pass along my first experience with this operation.
This dealership would never respond to me when I sent them multiple inquiries and even emailed them direct from their website. I think I this reflects... very poorly on their dealership. Plus most everything listed on their lot when you get to looking into it has had major flood damage from the hurricane last year in the Carolinas that's a scary thought with all the electronics on modern vehicles.
Excellent place to buy,, honest, great service, good people... I drove seven hours to buy and I don't regret a minute of it. And, none of the sales talk..
Found a really nice looking car on their site but the communication wasn't great trying to find out information about it. I wanted to find out about the... details of buying a car that was rebuilt but never did hear back from them.
