Horrible sales experience. Worked with Andre, and he strung us along only to use us as pawns to swindle a different buyer into a deal that gets him and McKenna more $$$. Avoid this place at all costs. Very dishonest dealer.

Recently purchased a car and Jesus was the salesman.
Recently purchased a car and Jesus was the salesman. After assuring us of a trade-in value he did not follow through on the agreed trade-in price at time of sale. He also assured us there was a second key that he would send via mail because it wasn't on the lot. Weeks later we have no key and will be spending $450 to replace the key. No response from the dealer despite multiple attempts to contact.

I've reached out to the dealership on 5 occasions. My husband has also reached out several times. Not one return email or one return call. Six weeks after purchasing the vehicle and we still only have one key. Seems sketchy for such a large dealer.
Interesting experience.
Interesting experience. I inquired about the Tesla adaptor for Volvo and was quoted a $50 up charge versus what all other Volvo dealer sell it for ($250) with the comment.. “price just went up”. And then the service part employee started negotiating… $275. It doesn’t feel like a legit business.

The best car shopping and buying experiences I have ever had! Nice new showroom but more importantly great and amazing folks working inside. Got my new SUV on my 2nd trip to the dealership after shopping around and the team made the experience easy, quick, and pleasurable!! Special thanks to my main man Dion Dejurnett for showing me the cars and options and understanding my needs. His sales experience and Harlan the manager understood my wants and budget and made everything work with an amazing deal that made it irresistible to sign and drive away!! I’m actually looking forward to my next car shopping experience because with these folks I know I am getting good value and working with really good people!! Plus free car washes so I’ll be in to see the team regularly!! Thanking the Southbay Volvo team for everything they did to get me into my new SUV - couldn’t be happier heading into my 2nd week of driving!!

Never ever buy a car from this place, or any of the McKenna dealerships. The sales people, especially John Apodaca, have zero knowledge of the products, will lie thru their teeth to get a sale, and to boot, management admits their sales staff need “product training.” The owner, Danny McKenna, is a waste of a gene pool - typical car dealer mentality. He refuses to resolve any problems, despite all the marketing gimmicks he sends out stating that he’s all about making things right with the customer.
