Got just the car I wanted and maybe a little nicer than I
Got just the car I wanted and maybe a little nicer than I thought I could afford. The sales people were friendly and helpful, gave me just what I thought my trade in was worth Hope to be working with Gregg Young Buick in Indianola in the future. The free car washes will really come in handy. as I like a clean car. Would have got a five star for sure from me, but My Key fob had a bad battery and I only received one Fob with purchase.( Found one on eBay for only $ 29.00,) The Finance people went out of their way to help me with all the paper work and I give them a 5 Star review. Got a really sharp car.

Just keep driving!
Just keep driving! There are better dealerships out there that are organized. What a joke of a dealership. I should have known better....lesson learned.

Nice folks who didn't do their job
Nice people on staff that I talked to but bottom line because I was from out of town, I think they tried to take advantage of me. Here is my story. My car broke down on I 35 heading south at Mile marker 41 so I had AAA tow me to the nearest Buick dealer thinking that being from out of town, a GMC dealer would be the best place to get quick and professional help. Granted it was Sunday, December 29th so the holidays were coming. The tow truck left the car in the lot by the repair shop doors. The driver backed it off his truck and left it as at an an angle the rear end was over the pack while like so it was kind of sitting in two parking spots. I left a note and the keys in the drop box with a message I would call for an update on Monday, December 30. I called from my home in Kansas City and was told they were really busy so could not look at it until Tuesday afternoon at the earliest. I am sure glad I didn't stay in a local hotel waiting for my care to get fixed. I called on Tuesday and they indicated they could not look at it until after New Year's holiday and to call late morning January 2nd. I did call at around 11:30 AM and they indicated the mechanic who evaluated my vehicle was out to lunch so call back after 1 PM. I did ant they indicated my vehicle that had had the 'engine hot' light come on and had steam pouring from under the hood was caused by upper and lower cooling system leaks from tow plastic connections and would need to be replace and they would evaluate further. The estimated price to fix it was $1550. I asked the to wait and called my local mechanic who has done work on my Buick in the past. When he heard the estimate he indicated that I should go pick the car up and bring it back. You see, he had replaced those plastic parts a year ago with after market metal parts that don't deteriorate. So I borrowed a friend truck and trailer and drove up and picked up the vehicle on Friday, January 3 and towed it back to Kansas City. I noticed that the car looked like it had never been moved from the spot with the tow truck drives dropped it. The car was at the same angle with the back end over the line. This engine has had a reputation for this kind of problem so it appears that they really may not have looked at it closely but just assumed this was the problem and the repair price was higher than it should have cost. The bottom line is I brought it back to my Mechanic at Goodyear Auto and Tire, who was able to fix if for me. The problem was it needed a new water pump which I had suggested as a possible problem in my note to Gregg Young. The Connectors that they wanted to replace where in perfect operating order. The price for the replacement of the new water pump was $250. All I can say is the I was a stranger and Gregg Young tried to take me. I do not know who all evaluated what was wrong with my car but it sure appears that because I was from out of town and in a vulnerable place they were ready to take advantage of me. The courteous way I was treated by staff makes it even more disappointing that it appears they really were out to take advantage and cheat me. I would not recommend others seek service at Gregg Young especially if they are from out of town . Rev Timothy C. Ek, Lee's Summit, Missouri

Purchase Attempt
I was shopping for a New GMC and stumbled upon this dealer, I knew nothing about them but read some reviews and thought I would give them a try as they had the model and color I was interested in. The other reviews that indicate you would be further ahead to shop elsewhere, rang true. None responsive email, with exception of trying to get you to set up an appointment to come to the dealership. This dealer is one that will ensure success of the competition. Save yourself the time and hassle, shop elsewhere.

Engine failure within 30 days
Dealer sold my daughter a 2012 Chevy Equinox with 4 cylinder engine. Car had 78000 miles on it. The check engine light came on after 2 days. She took it to the dealers service dept and was told it was a catalytic converter. They ordered the part. A week passed and she call them back and advised the car was running rough and was out of oil. Was told that was normal for a car with a bad catalytic converter. Engine blew up a few days later. Come to find out this car is involved in a class action lawsuit for engine failure that has been approved by a judge. I asked the manager, he was aware of the suit. Cant believe they sell a car with known problems with out disclosure. Service dept also failed to identify the correct issue and did not provide the correct information to keep the car running. The engine's timing chain broke and destroyed the engine. Manager wanted to charge my daughter $8700 for the repair. After a lengthy discussion with the manager he did drop the charge to $3700. This is not good enough, taking no responsibility of selling bad cars. Wrote Gregg Young himself, was told that dealer policies would not allow any further concessions. Do not buy from this dealer!

Professional and helpful
I live in Northern California and have been looking for a truck for the past couple of months. I finally found a truck on line at Gregg Young Buick GMC. After talking to "Mike" we reached an agreement and I flew to Des Moines to pick up the truck. Even though I was not going to be a customer after purchase (as I am out of state) I was treated very professional and the truck was just as I had hoped. I also enjoyed working with their finance guy (Boomer) who gave me his card and assured me that if there were ever any concerns to personally contact him. I would highly recommend Gregg Young Buick GMC to anyone as I was impressed with their work and their care in working with me. They even filled up the gas tank for my long drive back to California. I would definitely buy from them again. You can't go wrong buying from a vehicle from them.

I live in Northern California and found a truck on line at Gregg Young Buick GMC and flew to Des Moines to pick it up. It was exactly what I have holed it would be and the salesmen who worked with me were great. Thank you Mike for helping the deal through the management. And thank you Boomer for your work . I really appreciated Boomer telling me that if I had any concerns to personally call him and he would carry it through. In addition, I was impressed that they treated me as a local even though I was purchasing from out of state and would probably never work with them again. However if I am once again in the market to by a GMC or Buick, I would not hesitate to call them...even from California. You can trust them to pay attention to you...even after the deal is negotiated. They are good, hard-working folks. You can definitely trust them to do what they say they will do...which is rare in this day and age.
