Horrible experience interacting with this dealership, and...

Horrible experience interacting with this dealership, and I didn't even step foot on the lot. Had to ask multiple times for the information I was requesting, and they just kept asking when I would come down in person. Staff was condescending, unprofessional, and rude. I ended up buying a vehicle from another dealership. I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone.

My 19 year old daughter bought a used Audi TT from Gator...

My 19 year old daughter bought a used Audi TT from Gator Ford. Within a day and a half the engine light came on. Being an expensive car to fix, she was rightfully panicked considering it was an “as is” purchase. She returned to the dealership hoping they would help her. Not only did they listen and diagnose but they fixed the over $700 problem at no charge to her. This is unheard of in a typical used car environment. I’m truly impressed with sales who footed the bill and with Gary, service manager and DW who were nothing but accommodating, honest and reassuring. Thank you Gator Ford.

I requested that the rear diff be repaired and perform a service on the truck. The diff got repaired but the service was never completed.

Bought a car, advertised for 10,554, BUT, that “Internet...

Bought a car, advertised for 10,554, BUT, that “Internet price” is only if I financed with them. I was told it’s how dealerships make their money and that’s with financing and service. Therefore, the car, without other fees, was really priced 13,238 (not 10,500) + fees for a total of (15,592). Mike Accord, the manager told me the car was worth more on his lot (because he paid more for the trade in ... so the person buying the car has to pay more for the car?). That’s a ridiculous excuse! So, basically the car was almost $3000 more than the advertised “internet” price. Within that $3000, they checked it for mechanical and safety problems (which that should be a given). The car had a drop in price, one hour before we came in, and I can’t prove if I got that new price because nothing was itemized. I hate that feeling of being ripped off! I will say we had complete buyers remorse and felt like the bill was padded. Mike Accord, the manager, was willing to cancel the purchase, even the next day. I think he wanted us out of his hair and was snippy and arrogant because he had to “came to work to deal with this”. But, he was still willing to take it back, so that says a lot. We didn’t bother, since an Insurance policy was already purchased and will have to live with this and learned a valuable lesson. I didn’t expect Mike Accord to really look over the numbers for a mistake. He seemed agitated over this post sale. ALSO, we only received one set of keys and didn’t get a driving manual. More importantly, two sets of keys from a dealership should be the expectation. I emailed Mike Accord about this on Sunday, and he still hasn’t replied! As far as Brad, the salesperson, he was very friendly, and the only thing I didn’t appreciate that he was giving me the amount of the car, in the amount of monthly payments, and made it cheaper, by giving us numbers based on a 72 month loan instead of what our loan/bank draft was approved for (which was 60 months). He just wanted to sell the car. I am also in the market for a new car, but after this mess, I would have to think about it ever buying a vehicle from them. Or come in with work orders from other places, and then decide if I want to give them my business! I will say Brad, the salesman, was nice and personable. But, definitely not blaming him for the pricing!

Great service and GREAT communication from Tobias. Took a little longer than I expected, but that was a Ford issue and not Gator. I will continue to have my car serviced at this location.

Do not buy a truck from Gator Ford. Once you buy your...

Do not buy a truck from Gator Ford. Once you buy your truck if anything is wrong with your truck they will not fix it. We bought a new truck less than a month ago and we found a scratch on the hood and a huge scratch on the passenger door and they refused to fix it. We are so disappointed with them and how they treat their customers. If I knew that we were going to be treated so poorly I would of gone elsewhere to purchase a new truck.

This Ford dealer was the first to make me feel like an appreciated consumer. Greg was a great salesperson and finance was excellent. I would definitely come back.
