Didn't realize I was buying a fixer-upper.

Didn't realize I was buying a fixer-upper. They said this car was in good shape and ready to go. That was definitely not the case. The first thing was that the tire pressure light was on. They filled the tires and it went off. Cool, no big deal. About a week after I got it the brakes started squealing, they said they just had the brake done and even gave me the invoice. I look at the invoice, only the front brakes were done. Fine, I take it to the mechanic and get the back brakes done. They also checked the front and found the caliper was leaking. They fixed it. He also found the invoice from the dealership in the passenger seat and went over it and told me there were a lot of double charges. I take it home and it's still squealing from the front. So after that $700 repair I call High Desert and that man talked to me like I was dirt, he said the brakes are just adjusting to the weather. I explained what the mechanic told me. The man from High Desert tells me "calipers don't leak." I tell him brakes don't need three weeks to adjust to weather. He told me to text him the info from the mechanic and we would go from there. He never responded to my texts and never called me back. So me and my 69 year old disabled dad took the front brakes apart, they are new brakes but we still can't figure out why they are squealing and grinding. While we had the tires off, I noticed they are plugged! I'm about to take this car to Arizona for my spouses bone marrow transplant, so that is another several hundred dollars thing to replace.A few days later, I guess there was a chip in the top of the windshield in the black part where the mirror is because that split across the windshield , to be fair I didn't notice if the chip was there or not when I bought the car, so the windshield might not be their fault. But that was another $250. The way they treated me was terrible. They didn't even offer to help troubleshoot to figure out why it is making so much noise. I overpaid for the car. At this point there is nothing they can do that will make this right.

I have visited High Desert Auto Wholesale several times

I have visited High Desert Auto Wholesale several times to inspect and ask questions about different vechicles on their lot. They do have reasonable prices and terms available.

Very rude and unwilling to provide service

Had cash in hand for a specific vehicle they had advertised. Drove the car and liked it. Asked about 2 lights on the dash that would need to be addressed and asked to have 1 window retinted as the tint had a 4"×4" hole in it. I was told that under no circumstance would they address these issues. I hadn't even asked for a discount on the car. I simply didn't want to take delivery of a car that had immediate issues. Funny that a dealership would miss out on a $20k sale over a $40 window tint.
