terrible service experience.
terrible service experience. Stay away from this dealership, as they are rude and generally not helpful. They're more interested in complaining about each other than actually providing service.

I'd go elsewhere as they are very rude and not helpful in
I'd go elsewhere as they are very rude and not helpful in resolving issues. I shouldn't have to escalate to get basic service, not sure what they're doing there, but I will never buy or use them again.

Syed is rude and disrespectful.
Syed is rude and disrespectful. Doesn’t deserve to have the position he is in at this dealership. He’s a mockery of the company and probably has lost more than my business there. This probably isn’t the first you have heard this. But I’m sure more will turn out. I will seek my Volvo services else where.

On 12/5/2023 I purchased a new 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge
On 12/5/2023 I purchased a new 2023 Volvo XC60 Recharge from Volvo Cars Westport, CT. I live in Florida and the sales process went smoothly. There were some bumps during the delivery process on 12/5/2023 including the vehicle not being charged and a charge on the Lease Agreement that no one has been able to resolve to this day. In addition, the following issues have been brought forward to General Manager Mike Dillon and Finance Manny Costas numerous times without resolution. This is getting ridiculous and I am extremely unhappy with my purchase. * License Plates for my car…..the Temporary Tag for my new car expired on 1/4/2024. I still do not have plates to put on the car and as a result I have not been able to drive the car for the last 2 days. I have addressed this with both Mike and Manny several times with resolution. * The Lease Agreement I received at point of sale indicated that my first lease payment was due on 1/5/2024. Mike and Manny were both advised that I had not received any communication from Volvo Financial regarding the financing. On 1/4/2024 I personally called Volvo Financial and was advised that they have no record of an account for me or my Volvo. They recommended that I reach back out to the dealership which I did again with no resolution. How do you make a payment that is due when there is no record of any financial agreement with Volvo Financial? I will be contacting the CFPB should there be any issue with my credit report. * Upon returning home to FL, I reviewed my Lease Agreement and identified a charge of $675 for Smartshield Enviro Protection. At point of sale I never received any paperwork or agreement nor was this product discussed by Manny in Finance. I have tried to get this resolved numerous time with nothing being resolved. I have been purchasing cars for 45 years and this is by far one of the worst experiences I have had. Additionally, this is the second new Volvo I have purchased in the last year. The first was a 2023 XC60 Mild Hybrid purchased here in FL and the entire process was smooth and professional. This purchase has been nothing but negative from finance to delivery to post delivery.

UPDATE…..Day 38…..nothing has changed…..no response…..no resolution. STILL no license plate for the car so I haven’t been able to drive the car for the last 8 days (it’s great having a new car you cant even drive). STILL no information from Volvo Financial regarding a payment that according to the Lease Agreement was due on 1/5/2024….now that’s professional! STILL no response regarding the fake charge for the Smartshield Enviro Protection. The lack of response and lack of professionalism is astounding.
UPDATE….Day 41….. an email was sent to CEO Michael Cottone stating the following…...Michael you should be aware that the following apparently have no interest in resolving my customer concerns that have been brought forward as a result of a lack of professionalism and extremely poor customer service: Scott Doering, Head of Customer Service, Dean Shaw, William Casey and Volvo Customer Care. It is extremely disappointing that those mentioned above have chosen to not respond to the concerns that I have brought forward and clearly do not live the Volvo Mission Statement of “ Volvo making life easier”…….my life has been anything but easier since purchasing my Volvo on December 5, 2023 as you can see in the email chain below. In fact, my life has been a living xxxx with not being able to drive my new car, no idea about the financing of my new car and being erroneously charged for a fictitious product. It is absurd that this xxxx show continues 41 days after purchasing the car. After spending 35 years in the business world as an executive, I am astounded by the lack of customer service and the lack of professionalism demonstrated by everyone mentioned above in the Volvo community. I sincerely question my decision to purchase a Volvo. The fact that none of those mentioned above have bothered to come out from hiding behind their computers and respond speaks volumes about the Volvo organization.
Ryan Pereiras !!
Ryan Pereiras He is so personable to talk with, and he handled my annual check with great attention, flexibility and follow through. He even reached out to clarify details from out of the office to make sure the delivery worked smoothly. He took a lot of responsibility for both me and the car. I was delighted to work with him.

Worst Dealership experience
After submitting feedback to the Volvo Westport management and not receiving any response I figured it would be worthwhile writing a review. We had a good experience with the salesperson when buying the vehicle, but most interactions since then have been so bad that we wish we didn't even have a Volvo. Most recently, I had scheduled service for our xc90 and tried to reach someone 2 days ahead of time with some questions that I had. I couldn't reach anyone so I left a voicemail with no returned call. Due to unanswered information (and frustration) I spoke to someone and canceled the appointment. Since my experience has been so bad here I expected that they would still show up at my home for the scheduled pickup(which they did.) I've never dealt with any dealership in my life that has had such a poor experience, it's really been a shame. After submitting this feedback to the manager as a helpful way for them to tighten up communication internally, I received no reply back. From now on I will be traveling extra far just to have service performed elsewhere.

I am not one who will usually write a review and not
I am not one who will usually write a review and not usually about a car dealer. I just bought a used XC40 from Volvo of Westport and it was one of the best experiences I have had with a car dealer. From my sales person Jason Sandel who was so helpful no pressure explained all about the car to me and Mike Messina in finance went over all financing with me. I am extremely happy with my purchase and Jason has been very helpful in responding to me emails and questions. I would highly recommend Volvo of Westport for your next luxury car purchase. Fred

Not customer focused
Not impressed! You’d think they would want to sell cars. Told I would get call back .. never happened. Watch the add on they try to charge after you agree on price. Don’t have a good feeling dealing with this dealership. Will look elsewhere to buy a Volvo

This dealerships repair prices are outrageous.
This dealerships repair prices are outrageous. We recently had our Volvo x90 starter replaced and the total cost was $2k. We didn't have a choice because the car was towed there,.but this is double than what it should normally cost. They also wanted us to replace the battery at $1,100. The battery is $200 brand new. Prior to that we paid nearly $4k for new brakes and 2 rotors they insisted were bad. I'd avoid taking your car here. Dealerships make their money off of servicing, hence those "free oil changes", but this place is robbing their clients.
