So, in November 2024, I bought a vehicle from Lorenzo at

So, in November 2024, I bought a vehicle from Lorenzo at Eastside Motoring who also go by Specialty Auto Sales. This is my 60th car so I’m not new to the process. I purchased my last eight from other states and had them shipped to me. I expect dealers to avoid mentioning issues with vehicles if they can. I also understand that I’m buying a used vehicle and cannot expect it to be pristine. Here’s a list of what I encountered and accepted without complaint. • I didn't negotiate the vehicle price. • I didn't xxxxx about them sending only one key fob, when replacements are $300+ • I didn't whine about them saying on video that a paint chip was "tree sap". • I didn't complain that they assured me the leather was in great condition when there are four separate dark spots measuring 4"+ • I didn't complain about the undisclosed 4-foot-long scrape deep into the plastic molding and down to the metal of the rear passenger door along the bottom on the driver's side. • I didn't complain about the multiple dings in the bodywork. • I didn't raise xxxx about the poor paint work on the passenger rear window pillar. • I didn't xxxxx about the multiple electrical glitches •       Driver's headrest won't adjust •       Temperature adjustment glitches, and won't work sometimes •       Warning light at startup • I didn't complain about the sunroof sounding like it's shredding metal when it retracts and closes • I didn't complain about the loud suspension squeak whenever the front-end goes over a speedbump I know the dings, chips, and scratches were already on the car, because they are on the shipper’s BOL and noted at pickup, before loading on the transport truck. At the front end, Lornzo was on the ball. Answering enquiries, and even taking video to show me the vehicle’s condition. However, once they had my $16K deposit, they stopped being responsive. I now had skin in the game, so they didn’t feel obligated to do anything without me having to chase them. Add to this that they required a $250 deposit to hold the vehicle. I paid by AMEX and after the deal was concluded and the vehicle shipped, it took two weeks and multiple texts, emails, and calls to get them to refund the deposit. I now have no doubt that they would have kept it, if I hadn’t been persistent. Lorenzo blamed it on his assistant failing to process it, but I am suspicious. And after all that, the one thing that really bothered me is that they shipped the car with the center rear seatbelt unanchored. The bottom anchor-plate was just hanging from the seatbelt. That’s a serious issue. A fifth passenger would not be secured, and in an accident the anchor-plate which is a 3”x3” hunk of metal, would whip around the cabin, hitting the rear passengers. Lorenzo was “shocked” that it shipped in this condition and offered to reimburse me for getting it installed at the dealer. Well, that was the last time I heard from anyone at Eastside. I sent repeated requests for their agreement that I could take it to a local shop for the installation which saves me from a trip to the dealer and them from paying dealer rates. All I got for the past two weeks is… crickets. They never intended to reimburse me. It was just to shut me up. The joke’s on them. I have time and motivation to inform others of their practices. I have every video, text, and email to substantiate all my assertions. If you are considering a vehicle purchase, stay far away from Eastside Motoring AKA Specialty Auto Sales.

They really deserve a zero.

They really deserve a zero. Do not buy a car here, instant regret! Dry rot in the tires, nail in a tire, cancelled warranty for non-payment, near impossible to get ahold of someone when there’s an issue. Run, don’t walk. Many people with similar issues- obviously there is a pattern of dishonesty.

Other reviews I have posted on Google, Carfax, cars.

Other reviews I have posted on Google, Carfax, cars.com etc have been much more lengthy. I will keep this one short and sour. Nick and Lorenzo from this dealership are the worst post-sales people I have ever encountered, in any business, at any time. A car purchased in March had almost $3,000 in needed repairs by mid-April, Have a video from Audi of Fairfield documenting the disrepair, 36 days and just over 1,000 miles from its purchase. I consciously made the decision to have Audi of Fairfield repair some of the issues as they were safety related and it was my daughter driving the vehicle some 180 miles from home. Knowing this would technically get Eastside off the Lemon Law hook, I put faith that they might work with me on the issues and money spent nonetheless. Fat chance. Dozens of texts and calls ignored. Nick only responded when I called him out for his texts sending "Read" receipts to me lmao. His response then was almost instantaneous and brief - "not my issue" go find someone who cares. I finally tricked Lorenzo into getting on the phone with me by giving another name when calling and he agreed to make one repair worth about $700. Thanks, whatever. He even lied about not being onsite when I know he was but he simply refused to come out and talk face to face, man to man. Perhaps a two-faced non-man who would do that. If you buy here, good luck. If your car has issues, these two will turn tail and run like thieves.

My mother co signed for 2014 Mercedes E class from

My mother co signed for 2014 Mercedes E class from Eastside Motoring. During the sales process, Nick and Lorenzo sold me on their top rated car gurus dealership status and how they sell 60% of their cars out of state so it’s very important to them that all cars are sold in upstanding condition. During the sales process, Nick and Lorenzo told me they had “put new brakes and tires on the car”. My fault for assuming “put new tires on the car” meant 4 new tires. I should have checked closer, but alas I had not. When I drove home with the car on February 9th, I took it to get in inspected that very day. Once the car was on the lift, I was called in to look at it with the mechanic. He showed me rotting and cracking in the rear sub frame of the car, which he told me was a common issue for Mercedes. The car not only didn’t pass inspection, but was literally unsafe to drive. He then showed me that the two tires on the left side of the car were brand new, while the right two were about a month away from failing inspection. The back right tire had a razor blade in it. I immediately reached out to Lorenzo and Nick who were hard to get in touch with all of a sudden. I paid for two new tires in the following days, and sent the receipts to Nick and Lorenzo asking to be reimbursed. No response. THANK GOD the Mercedes is subframe is actually covered under a recall, otherwise this job would cost me thousands of dollars to get done. It’s going to take the Mercedes dealership a month to fix it I’ve been told. Pictures posted for reference. 9 days after driving home with the car, the battery died. Now I wouldn’t be this upset had the other stuff not happened already with the car. But at this point it was very clear to me that Nick and Lorenzo had sold a car that either A) they didn’t inspect properly or B) sold a car they knew had serious issues with. Battery, tires, rear sub frame, seems to me those are three things that should be checked prior to selling since again they talked about how selling cars in upstanding condition is sooo important to them. I reached out to Lorenzo again asking for them to pay for the tires and batteries. No response. It’s wasn’t until my mother posted a review last Thursday, we got a text back within minutes. Saying the store had covid and they’d get back to us in the morning. I have not hear back from them since. Funny tho, I’m sure they sold cars in the two weeks they “had covid” and couldn’t text me back. Also, one of their top 5 stars review is literally the woman who works behind the desk there. It’s very clear to me now they got their car gurus top rating from bogus reviews. These guys are horrible to do business with and sold me a car is literally unsafe to drive. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITN THESE PEOPLE!!!
