Bait and Switch

Beware bait and switch. Within a month the back up camera did not work, was told they needed to order a part, it would be $100. I got a call 8 months later and was told the part came in and it would cost $500 to replace the camera.

Treated the worst I’ve ever been.

Let me assure you, Siemens removes most of the bad reviews that are written. And how do I know that? I wrote one last year, was treated so bad, lied to over and over again, promises and more promises, and still nothing fixed. I wouldn’t go to them to purchase or service a car ever! I’m sure this will be taken down also.

I bought an F-150 from Sieman’s Ford in 2018.

I bought an F-150 from Sieman’s Ford in 2018. A good truck but recently the wipers would not stop going even if turned off. It turned out to be an electronic part, and Siemans replaced it. All competent but here is the praise. John in Siemans service department was diligent in helping get the repair claim accepted by Zurich insurance on the extended warranty I bought through Siemans. He called them several times after they initially stalled the claim. I appreciated his going to bat on behalf of me, a Siemans customer. I also appreciated his overall professionalism in handling the servicing of my truck. Hooray for Siemans Ford truck service!

Service is terrible

I called into Tyler like I do every month to check on a recall for my 2019 ram 2500. The recall was not available for 2019 trucks yet and would be at some point. I got Tyler on the phone and had him look up my vin number. He said “oh this is available, come bring it in (in 3 weeks) and we will do an inspection, order the parts, and do the recall of the fuel pump the next day. Set up an appointment for 3 weeks later.I asked him, are you sure? Explained how it not available for the 2019’s but should be anytime. He assured me over and over again. And before I got off the phone, I asked him again? ARE YOU SURE? I borrowed my mothers vehicle, so I could drop it off because of course no loaner cars, took my daughter to school, then drove to the dealership with my girlfriend to drop the truck off. Then she had to drive me back home, get the other vehicle and then drive to work. When I arrived the service advisor said. So your here for XYZ, everything else besides the recall I came for. I said, no, I’m here for the fuel pump recall, the one you assured me could be done over and over again on the phone. He said, oh well reading here we can’t do it for your truck. I said then why am I here? They said they would try and finagle the system and get it done for me. Called me back 6 hours later to tell me they couldn’t do it and come pick my truck up. Went to get my truck the next day and it’s sitting in the back when I come to pick it up at exactly the time I told them I would be there. Hand me my keys, go to start it, and the battery is dead. In 10 inches of snow. Jumped it after a while and said the batteries had to be bad, well 4 weeks later in snow and freezing temps it starts up fine every time. I obviously told them I was upset, but decided not to do a review because people mess up, and even though it was pure ignorance, it happens. Fast forward to today. Chrysler finally revised the recall and included all 2019 trucks. I got the service bulletin and called back to the dealership. Tyler fields the call from the receptionist. Doesn’t know who I am, then I tell him who I am “, I’m the guy that brought the truck in for the recall that you guys scheduled and then you couldn’t do it. He acts like he has no idea. So whatever. Looks up my information, says oh, there you are and 3 seconds later, CLICK. Not lost service on phone, the sound of a desktop phone hitting the cradle. I give them the benifit if the doubt, call back to receptionist, she transferred me over, rings and rings and rings phone gets picked up, and immediately CLICK. Hangs up. Call right back, oh they’re all busy. I said I just called 10 seconds ago and was talking to Tyler. So I ask for a service manager, she said okay hold on. Boom voicemail. I call right back, said I didn’t ask for voicemail I asked for the manager. Boom back to his voicemail. Called back again. No answer. Grab my store phone and call from that number that’s a different area code. One ring, she answers. I said hello, now can I have the manager? Him jaws around and then the manger is on the phone, tell him I’m looking into the recall and I don’t appreciate being hung up on, no apologies nothing. Finds the recall, the revision, and I said I want to do that. He said fine, we are currently on a waiting list until February. Mind you, 3 weeks ago they set me up fine and said it would be done in two days. The revision came out today. I said okay. Put me on the list, he says it’s a temporary list? I said what’s a temporary list? That makes no sense. He got My name and that’s it, and I can bet I won’t be getting a call in February for the recall. This is a classic example of incompetent employees messing up, then treating a customer with $150,000 worth of Chrysler vehicle like crap. I will remove this review once I get an apology from Tyler, the service manager, as well as the general manager and then them make it right.

Best Ford dealer in SW Michigan

My car buying experience with Siemans Ford was excellent. The salesman that worked with me was highly knowledgeable and professional during the whole process. His name is Jon Weber, and there was a long wait for the particular vehicle that I wanted to order. Jon patiently assisted me in setting the best configuration for my 2022 Bronco, also providing test drives and updates on the status of my order. There was no pressure to add unnecessary accessories and the final price was correct and based on the MSRP without any overcharges. I highly recommend Siemans Ford to other car buyers.

Our car broke down and it took awhile to get it in to...

Our car broke down and it took awhile to get it in to find out what was wrong due to the Covid. However Tyler Danneffel did all he could to get it in as fast as he could. When Don got to see in on Tuesday they called and said what needed to be done and would get to it as soon as they had the parts. Well to our surprise on Wednesday Tyler called and said the car was ready, we were so greatful. Tyler and Don are the best, Thank you, The Hungates

My Shopping Experience

I received a very warm welcome from our sales person who was very friendly and knowledgeable in the Ford product I was looking for. From the start of my visit to the dealership to the finish, I felt very comfortable with not only my sales person, but also all the staff at Siemans who took part in our purchasing process. I would reccomend Siemans and their staff to anyone looking to purchase a new Ford product. Overall we had a great experience!
