Ram repair or lack of it!!!!
My Ram broke down on vacation and needed to be towed to the nearest dealer for repair. Broke down Thursday Aug.22. Called the dealer on Friday morning to see when they could look at it as we were out of state and needed to return on Sunday. First thing that made me think this was not going to be good was they picked up the phone and said SEAMAN FORD!! no Dodge ,Jeep, Ram, just ford. They said they would look at it in the after noon. Monday afternoon they still had not looked at it. or we are backed up and had repairs that came in to do. Tuesday late morning I called and talked to a 2nd service man and he could not find me or my truck in there system. I told him me truck had a tag on the dash with a number as I had seen it Saturday when we were removing things to put in a rental car. He asked me the number that was on it and I told him to go look as it was the only Blue truck with NY plates sitting right behind his shop with antifreeze running out of it. He said he would call me later. Right after I pulled up reviews and found there service was poor at best. Called a diffrent dealer to see if they could get it in and had it removed from this shop 4:00 they call me back and said he found my truck. funny the other service guy gave the keys to the tow company 3 hours before. They don't talk to each other. I would rate them no stars but I can not.
How to make warranty repairs difficult on customers!
The dealership , Siemens in Bridgman Mi is ridiculous , Having my service dog with me , the service manager would not supply me with a rental vehicle. Sighting that they do not allow dogs in their vehicles, so I have to be curious how they know what takes place with a "rental"vehicle once it has left ... Your company as a whole has gone above and beyond to make warranty repairs as difficult as possible on your customers , Refusing service and/or being rude to a service Dog and handler is not only unprofessional behavior, but it is illegal at both state and federal levels. In fact, they must allow an individual claiming their animal is a service dog to enter. Refusing service is a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, which can result in penalties, fines, and money damages. If we were small people only seeking free money , this dealership has offered easy ground to attain such, however we are not small people , I would like this repair completed without my time and patience being tested another day .
salesman (can't remember his name) hurried me out of the dealership when I was inquiring about a Ford Focus so he could go to his kids soccer or football game. Like, you couldn't just give me to a different sales person?
