Don't waste time at this location.

A very bad CARMAX. We got a CARMAX certified offer online, indicating a lease end, we checked the lease companies on their website that they do not deal with, (ours was a company that they do work with), made an appointment to go turn in our car, drove 1/2 hour to CARMAX, and was told arrogantly that they don't work with our lease company (JP Morgan Chase). Went home called CARMAX customer service, they told us CARMAX does work with JP Morgan Chase and that they should have taken our car. We called JP Morgan Chase and they said they work with Carmax all the time, in fact this representative had serviced CARMAX that day and several others during this week., Called Bradenton CARMAX back and they still would not even try to work with our situation. A maddening waist our time--and they just seemed too lazy to try to work a deal which other CARMAX's do daily. Called the next nearest CARMAX and they indicated that they would be happy to assist us. I would avoid this CARMAX.

Selling my Car

Don’t waste your time here to sell a car. They assess your car without your presence. I have an older car 2004 with 172000 miles. Great condition, runs a little rough. When they gave me their assessment, it was much less than I wanted, but not overly surprised. However, when we got back into our car, we couldn’t drive it. No brakes, it ran super rough. The employee said all he did was turn the car in and take a video. I’m not saying that isn’t all he did, coincidently my car does not run well and all and now needs to be fixed. And we got the opportunity to drive without much brakes home. Dangerous. They were not concerned.
