On 7/5/25 I dropped off my wife's car at Lake Elsinore
On 7/5/25 I dropped off my wife's car at Lake Elsinore Honda for A1 Service. I knew this would be my last "free" service after buying the car new at Lake Elsinore Honda 12 months earlier. I asked the service advisor (name withheld) to confirm that the service would be free because 12 months had not passed since new. The service advisor informed me that my car had over 12,000 miles so the free service was no longer in effect. I asked if he could please waive the $95 charge for A1 service because it was free last time (thank you Tyler) I came in for service 6 months prior for two (2) safety recalls. I also told the service advisor that I had bought four (4) new Hondas (from salesman Abner) at Lake Elsinore Honda in the past two years but he just shrugged his shoulders like who cares. I asked to speak with the service manager but he was not available so I spoke with a supervisor (name withheld) who offered a reduced price of $69.95 which I accepted and left. I was not happy and I made it clear that I would not be back to Lake Elsinore Honda for sales or service but nobody seemed to care. When I returned to pickup my car less than an hour later it was not washed as requested and now I'm wondering if the oil change / tire rotation had been performed. Anyway I just wanted to pay and get out of there and never return. So I went to the service counter and told Delia I was ready for payment and pickup. Delia said "what?, they are going to charge you" then Delia walked me to the cashier and on the way there she stopped and said "Mr. Link, we appreciate your customer loyalty and we want to retain your future business. There will be no charge for today's service and we look forward to seeing you and your wife again at Lake Elsinore Honda". Delia said she overheard my entire conversation with the service advisor(s) and the supervisor and said she was not happy about it. I was floored with Delia's comments and watching her take control of a bad situation so I said thank you, shook her hand . . . almost cried, and told Delia it is really great to see somebody working in customer service who actually cares about serving the customer and not just going through the motions. I told Delia she is management material and she will move up the ladder quickly if that is her goal. Delia single-handedly restored my confidence and loyalty with Lake Elsinore Honda and I will return for more sales / service. Thank you Delia!! P.S. I rated Lake Elsinore Honda 0 stars for service advisors and 20 stars for Delia!!

I came into Lake Elsinore Honda for a windshield calibration and transmission drain N fill. Tyler was very helpful in answering my questions regarding the windshield calibration which was a little tricky because I was told by the glass installer that my camera needed to be replaced. As it turned out the glass was installed incorrectly and Tyler sent me pictures and showed me the issue in person. Tyler also noted that my transmission seal was leaking and he made an appointment for next weekend to have that fixed. I just started coming to Lake Elsinore Honda a couple years ago when I purchased a 2022 Civic and I have found all the employees very knowledgeable and helpful . . . and they do it with a smile.

I’ve been looking/researching CRV Hybrids for a bit. I came across what looked like an unbelievable deal. They had multiple CRV’s with an MSRP of $38,400 advertised at $35,065. This advertised price was listed on Autotrader, and the dealership sent me a text message and an email with the same advertised price of $35,065 when I inquired. This potential deal convinced me to drive up to Lake Elsinore. I did see the asterisk after the price, so I assumed they would try to add a bunch of fees onto the discounted price in order to make their money back. However, the initial price that they started at was over $36K. They didn’t even honor what was advertised, but instead added a bunch of xx charges to an initial price higher than what was advertised. Mind you that this price was emailed and texted to me. A manager named Leo was the one going over all the figures. While I knew it would be tough to get it under MSRP while only paying taxes and registration, it didn’t sit well with me that they were ignoring the price listed online and what was emailed and texted to me. I mentioned that this felt shady. The manager didn’t like this at all. He was the epitome of a blowhard salesperson and the reason why so many of us don’t like the car buying experience or the personality of the sales managers. He rudely informed me that they are not shady at all whilst ignoring the price that was ONCE AGAIN listed online and texted/emailed to me. After leaving my wife even said: “I didn’t like that man and I would never give him my money.” Two of the last three new cars I bought at a Dodge/Chrysler dealership in Long Beach. It’s a long drive for me, but the price you see online is legit and they DON’T charge all of the xx add-ons that most dealerships do now. I’m kinda shocked by the amount of positive reviews. Just makes me think that consumers don’t understand how bad of deal they’re getting when dealerships add thousands of dollars onto the MSRP.

Thanks to Alec Stephenson and the service department team for helping me with my vehicle! I had a flat and needed 4 new tires for my 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid. After contacting 3 other Honda Dealers with no success Alec responded that Lake Elsinore Honda had the tires but included the alignment and balancing in the final price -all before closing. He even provided a military discount! My vehicle is running smoothly now thanks to him and his team's efforts. I appreciate his professionalism and attention to detail when 3 other dealers could not. He gave me options that nobody else offered so I could make an informed decision. Every dealership should have staff that listens to their customers like Alec.

The Service Rep was helpful and excellent. I recommend this facility. Clean and comfortable. Knowledge staff and gives you an estimate prior to the work being done. I appreciate this and feel I was not taken advantage of.

The 100,000 miles service took 5hr and a half. It was reasonable and everything looks good. Just notice an oil leak in the garage last night. Will still observe if it continues so i can bring it back. Overall the service was good, the things done were explained and understood. Was given a complimentary ride from shop to home while waiting and was picked up when done. I would recommend the Honda service to others.
